I didn't get to go back till after she set up so I didn't see if anything was actually clean. After she pierced me I looked in the mirror and asked if the bar was going to be long enough because there was BARELY room for swelling. She said yeah there shouldn't be aa problem. A month and a half later it still throbed which is unusual for me (this was my 13th piercing and never had pain that long) I went to my normal piercer for him to look at it, and he said if I hadn't came in my skin would have grown over it bc it was already rejecting it. She is so talented and never shocked by the most jacked up ideas I come up with. Recently she did 3 friendship tattoos and they are perfect. Val has a special gift not every artist has, she is great at originals, cover ups, simple to elaborate. With Sid and Val in one location you know there is a lot of talent under one roof. Preston helped me out with placement and overall size for where I wanted (my left shoulder) for the design I came in wanting. He's very professional and friendly and does amazing work. The whole place was clean and had a great vibe to it. Then I came back a year later to get another and I found that they'd moved across the street to a bigger space, with I thought was great. Something that was confusing was that they'd gone from Weber's Ink to South Town Tattoo. I worked with Preston again and he did another wonderful job with the tattoo on my left arm. Then I came back last year and had him do two more on my right arm. As always, the place is clean, full of friendly, professional artists, and I've never had an issue with anything. Totally recommend coming here, especially since this place has never had a complaint from any of my friends or acquaintances, compared to some of the other local joints. All the tattoo artists here know how to translate your ideas into art perfectly.

Emily did an amazing job.  My best friend and I loved our tattoos so much we are already looking into our next tattoo with her.  She told us both all about keeping them nice looking, which we knew but I find it helpful to always be reminded after every tattoo.  Since mine is behind the ear she had a few instructions about keeping it away from shampoo and keeping my hair up to help it stay clean and get air. I went there and got a small butterfly tattooed on my ankle by JilI. Later, as a high school graduation gift I had Jules put a butterfly tattoo on the hip of my son's best friend. My butterfly is still beautiful and she tells me, so is hers.
