I did an 80-minute deep tissue massage with Maria, who is so knowledgeable and wonderful. She helped relieve my pain and suggested exercises to do at home to help strengthen my weak areas. The spa is very relaxing and professional. My only suggestion would be to space clients out more in the locker room. When you have 3 ladies with lockers right next to each other, it doesn't allow much room to change privately and efficiently. read more

Best spa in the area. I go for a 110 minute massage every 2ish months and I never leave here disappointed. I've seen a few different therapists , recently Katie and Michelle, and both were fantastic. They listen when you explain your focus areas and they give less/more pressure when needed. As for the ambiance, it's everything you want in a spa. The locker rooms have everything you could need, from mouthwash to hair ties to even some amazing soaps/lotions. I booked a mother-to-be massage with Melissa. At 34 weeks pregnant, my body is definitely feeling the effects from growing a baby! The prenatal massage has an amazing pillow that allows you to lay on your stomach, with a hole for your belly. Just the feeling of laying on my stomach for the first time after 6+ months was heavenly. Melissa did a great job of asking me if I was comfortable and if the pressure was okay. I've been looking for a place that is consistently good for a pedicure. Let's just say I won't be coming back here again to check for consistency. This was one of the worst experiences I've had, especially at a spa. The lack of communication was astounding, especially since it was my first time here. Why are you taking the time during my appointment to clean supplies? I'm not soaking, I don't have hot towels, nothing. Literally just sitting there alone. No moisturizer? Just a little oil before hot stones. I think she was angry at my nails and cuticles because it appeared she was trying to ensure I left without either. I have to sit in the quiet room before I can put on my flip flops and leave? How long? Then go where? Where do I put these "materials"? What if I need to use the bathroom? And no one seems to understand the "quiet room" isn't for having entire conversations with your partner while you wait...especially partners who aren't getting any services and just want to sit and talk to you. read more

Let me tell you the service was phenomenal and my facial was so good even with the extra person observing in the room during the service. The owners of this local gem, are so attentive to their guests! The staff is so attentive as well, very accommodating, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I had a hydro-facial and Veronica explained a bit of what she was doing while at the same time I was so relaxed and able to completely decompress while she went from step to step. I was happy to see that I ate a spot came to the area. I went to the Woodhouse Day spa and purchased a package for my wife as a gift. I'll just get to the point. The massage she had, while they may have said they were a massage therapist, was not done professionally or very well at all. Nothing inappropriate just a bad job. The pedicure was marginal at best. The toenails were left too long and there was still bits of polished left from before. They were charging elite prices for services that were clearly less than what is already in the community. My original appointment was cancelled the day of because the staff person called off for that day. They very graciously offered to reschedule me and gave me a significant discount on services. That was the only positive experience I had here. I was scheduled for a Tranquil stone massage and it was nothing like I had ever experienced. The masseuse rubbed oil on my extremities and then rubbed this rock all over me...not what I expected, it was basically a rub down and not a massage, there was no pressure at all, just rubbing. I came in with lower back pain, but left feeling worse and am still super stiff the day after. She asked me where I was feeling the most pian and I told her, but that is the area she focused on the least. I even added on the $20 CBD oil for my session, that was rubbed all over my entire back....but not my lower back which was why she recommended the oil in the first place. Also, never got the mimosa that someone promised to bring me. Beautiful facility and atmosphere, and I am sure it is a lovely experience for the majority as indicated in these reviews, it just was not the experience I expected. I booked a prenatal spa package as a birthday present to have one day to relax before baby number 2. It took well over a month to actually get the appointment. Belated birthday, that's fine. Probably more a cause of pandemic staffing struggles I imagine. I was also told there wouldn't be a pedicure but I could extend a massage or facial a part of my package. Again, fine, I chose to extend the facial. Upon actually receiving services, I found the environment to be beautiful and peaceful and the techs themselves so nice. They changed my agenda to include the pedicure now as part of the original mom package. So when my facial wasn't extended, I didn't think much of it. After both my massage and facial were complete I was told to wait in the quiet room..and waiting is all I did. After almost 40minutes I went out of the room to seek information and was then told the nail tech was on a break. I asked because I was under the impression my spa experience would be 2.5hrs and was paying a babysitter during this time. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of communication to me about this sudden issue. Was this poor scheduling? Forgetfulness? Standard practice not explained to patrons? I continued to wait for 20 more minutes with no new update. I was forced to change and cancel the pedicure because I simply had no more time and needed to relieve my babysitter. When going to pay, they canceled my pedicure no problem but said they couldn't give me the package pricing, as well as charged me for the extended facial. I questioned this because it wasn't extended. They told me the treatment was just incorporated into the facial. So it didn't extend the facial experience at all it was a hidden expensive treatment I had no idea I was getting. With that "secret" addition and cancellation, I ended up paying for a full package basically but without a pedicure and an additional hour of my time wasted. I was so hopeful for this experience, but it ended on such a sour note. I wound up leaving disappointed and more stressed. The long wait with such a high bill stole any zen I had. I feel the techs are very capable and I surely hope the staff figures out their scheduling or at the very least communication with clients so no one else is robbed of possibly their only relax day. read more
