The employees were very helpful, one came out to the pickup, determined the battery size, had it in stock, placed both batteries on the cart and came out with me and helped (mostly performed) installation of both batteries. One battery was fairly difficult to install. I appreciated the assistance very much, it turned out I needed assistance to install both batteries. I offered to reward the person with money but it was refused. Since they would not take money, I felt it was necessary to post a review of how helpful the person was and let others know of the excellent assistance you can expect from Advance Auto Parts. I was quoted $93.28 which was more than I have ever paid for an oil change, but said OK. After some time, the mechanic came into the waiting room to say he couldn't get the old oil filter off and implied I had waited too long between changes and now it was stuck. I told him the oil change was on time, using Toyota's mileage between oil changes guidelines. To make matters worse, There was no discount for the botched service and he even gave me the unused oil filter he wasn't able to put in. I said I wasn't happy, and he said he understood, but could do nothing more. If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen that!

They seem to actually care that me and my kids and pets had a safe trip over the mountains. I appreciated it more than they know!

I was told in great working condition and I specifically wanted to know if there was a warranty on this part and was told yes a 30 day return. I paid more for this part instead of another place because of the 30 day return. No other terms of sale was disclosed verbally or in writing from their add. When the part arrived, it was obvious that it was a broken part. I called and was told "TO BAD" that turbos were not warranted. I said that that was not what you said on the phone. The man said that was what his boss said. I learned about the terms of sale once the part arrived with the invoice. Nothing stated about a turbo not being under warranty or not returnable however it doesn't say it is or it is not. There are lots of outs on the back of the invoice but somewhat inconsistent in terms. The bad part is you don't get a heads up on this until you have purchased the item and THEN learn the terms of sale. I have returned the item and contested the charge. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY or if you must do business, ask for terms of sale BEFORE the sale and in writing. I do a lot of business with auto parts companies, never had this problem before. So this company who we used for the first time will be never again!

Ken and Ed are old school straight shooters, the kind of guys you can't find any more. I needed to take a driver's test in a car with a interlock, so I had to buy one. Without a license. Ken worked with me through about three weeks of DMV nonsense, bank nonsense and grumpy GF nonsense to get the deal done. I expected to find worn brakes and used up struts on a 15 year old Buick but other than belts, hoses and a 50 cent light bulb, it runs showroom new. Ken even negotiated a discount from the owner because the bumper needed paint. Then he was kind enough to deliver it to my door, N/C. Buying a car will never get better than with these guys. Thanx.
