I initially booked here because my usual salon has cut back on their hours and tthe new schedule doesn't work for me. HG has exceptional hours and I made my appointment online just a couple of days ahead of time which was convenient. I figure hair can always be fixed, so I was willing to trust someone new. Well, Jen exceeded my expectations and when I told her what I wanted, no only did she clarify it with me but also found a picture to make sure. She worked quickly and was very professional. When I lived in mullica hill nj three years ago this was my go to hair salon! We have moved to Myrtle Beach S.C. and I can not find a place to compare to this. It took me a while to find a good hair stylist even while living in NJ but then they opened this one in mullica hill. So I gave it a try! I have used Mishell ever since! She knows what looks best every time. She remembers the colors I like even not having been there for three years, she is personable and did not forget anything about my hair. This place stays busy as there are a lot of new girls there too. I have tried a lot of hair dressers in Hello G but Mishell was the best one for me. Love this place! Had an appointment last week. 20 minutes after my appointment time I was still waiting...I was told it would be 5-10 additional minutes. The stylist looked like she had about 30 more minutes to go! No apologies when I stated I had to return to work and couldn't stay any longer, and no phone call from a manager. Will not return! read more

This was my second time going here! I Absolutely love my stylist Cerissa! She does an Amazing job! LOVE LOVE my Hair.

Very disappointed. Decided to try a cut with Gina, when she talked me out of the picture of the cut I wanted (probably because she didn't know how to do it) she then cut 5 inches off my hair when I only wanted a trim. Plus the haircut was terrible! I specificity told her I needed to keep the length for a wedding. Then she didn't even completely dry my hair. It was still damp in the back when I left. The style was horrible as well! I guess the saying "You get what you pay for" definitely applies to this situation. I will NEVER go back. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would, Went to see someone with a bit of breakage on the left corner of my head above my ear from previous dye,and i was slightly insecure about it.. told her I was aware of that and consulted with her opinion on whether or not to go through with bleaching my roots again, because I don't want to have pixie short hair. She tells me not to worry, when I notice alot of hair breaking off I tell her I don't know its a good idea to develop the hair any longer. She said "If hair isn't falling out you're not blonde enough!" as a joke. it wasn't funny. Long story short, I go home to workout and put my hair up and the whole underside of my head has broken hair. Looked like a grown in undercut. I called her to ask for my money back and was told I was aware of that breakage... If I knew about that amount of breakage why would I have even consulted about bleaching...? Finally I was only offerred a conditioning treatment worth $30. My confidence is horrible now. I have tufts of hair sticking out of my head.Never Ever going back. read more

I was very happy with my stylist, Antoniette today. She helped me with a color problem. My only complaint is that when I got home, my shirt felt wet. It was brand new, a Tommy Hilfiger polo. When I took the polo off, there was hair dye all over the collar at the back of the neck. Needless to say I'm very disappointed to have a $75 shirt ruined unnecessarily. I'm not so sure at this point that I will be a return customer. I am not blaming Antoniette, and I'm sure the young lady who shampooed my hair didn't do this intentionally, but placing a tiny towel around your neck during a shampoo is very little protection. I've never experienced this at any other salon that I went to. In the future, make sure that your customers are protected, and check for these things before they leave your shop. read more
