Found Sugarme on FB. They had a promo going on for a free Bikini wax. Line definitely needed some work so made an appointment to suprise my husband. We have been away from each for a month so can't wait to reveal the results. Any hoo. I hadn't been waxed in several years after a painful experience. That was not the case here. My appointment was with Kai. Kai was very knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally she presented professionalism way beyond her years. Bikini wax was good, I even allowed her to wax my butt. That was new experience, yet so needed. Won't skip on that upkeep anymore. The process for making an appointment was easy. Kai was good about cleaning the table between my body wax to my facial wax. I will be back. They have a membership program but haven't signed up yet. I wanted to make sure that I don't have any negative responses from the wax. I've had so far 2 appointments with Elena and she's been the absolute best. She makes you feel very comfortable and I'm usually in and out of my appointment. The waxing room looks and smells clean and they change paper cover on seat after each customer. Making an appointment online is also fairly simple and they'll email you a receipt after each service. I was a little confused by the location since this was my first time using Sugar Me Wax, but once I realized you just need to wait in the main lobby until it's your turn for your appointment I had the best experience. Kaylyn made me feel so comfortable and she did a fantastic job with my wax. I will definitely be booking my waxes with her in the future! The paper blocked windows are a little tacky. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy!! I first started service with them a couple years ago in Tucson and at first I loved it, but they got a new staff or management and it all went downhill after that. When I showed up to my appointment the esthetician let me know she wasn't feeling good and I was her last client I laid on the bed to get a Brazilian wax and as soon as I lay down she said she needed to run to the bathroom and she had to open the door and she would be back, mind you I'm laying there undressed from the waist down and there's a barbershop right across from the suite! I let it go because she wasn't feeling good and when I showed up for my next appointment I asked her how she was feeling and she said she had got sick from doing Brazilian wax because "people are soo dirty down there" she also complained to me that she wished people would get more facials instead of Brazilian waxes which made me feel uncomfortable. So I stopped going all together and canceled my membership. I ended up moving to Phx and saw a Groupon for Hello Sugar and thought why not give them a second chance since I'm in a new city. I scheduled a Brazilian wax with Sky and asked if my Groupon would apply and she said "No" because I was a previous member even though it was a couple of years ago and a different city. I did not see this disclosed on the off and Groupon will not refund me. This business clearly lacks customer service. read more

Having very mixed feelings about this. Came across their promotion on TikTok (free bikini wax) and they were very prompt in getting me scheduled. I was able to fill out the consent forms prior to the appointment they offered an upgrade for the price difference. I got a sugar wax Brazilian today and the aftermath has been less than ideal. It was my first time with a sugar wax (I've had several hard wax Brazilians) so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to expect. I am so badly bruised and tender in one area to the point that I had to take my leggings off and even in shorts I literally cannot get comfortable sitting down; I'm six hours post wax while I'm writing this. I've never had ANY tenderness with waxing before, even immediately after an appointment (and no this isn't an allergic reaction or me being sensitive since the rest of the area is fine). May try a sugar wax elsewhere one more time to discern if this is just going to be a normal reaction to it for me or if it was user error. Aside from that, the suite was clean and she changed her gloves often. She was very nice and had me out of there in 20 minutes start to finish. **Update** Nicole reached out to me personally after posting the above review at 3 stars to remedy the situation and try again in four weeks. Whether sugaring is something my body will comply with or it was an improper technique, her response and proposal to a solution was far beyond what my expectations were and showed that she genuinely cares about clients even if they're not personally hers which deserves five stars in and of itself. Not once did she ask me to edit my review and she was very graceful about accepting responsibility for her employees and promised remedial training to prevent this from happening again (if it was in fact due to improper technique). read more

I arrived at my appointment early and the young lady had zero clients and as my time came I had to get her attention bc not only did she have zero clients for the last 15 minutes she hadn't even walked out to check if I was waiting as my appointment was only 2 minutes from my scheduled time. After I got her attention that I was there for my appointment. She wasn't very welcoming as she was distracted by something else. I walked into the smallest size work pace that smelt of a bad, musty, pungent aroma. The client table was gross looking and unclean. It wasn't very sanitary looking all the way around. I wanted nothing to do with this place and left my appointment. Between the smell and the appearance certainly didn't match the beautiful display the website makes this place out to be in addition to the way there was no acknowledgement to waiting clients in the lobby. read more

Wax was fine but good luck if anything else goes wrong. No one will reply to your emails or text and there's no one in charge to speak with. The young lady lied to me when offering to sign me for the membership. The next day, I received an email stating something completely different. I was told that what the young lady told me was an option, but they did not want to comply with what she said. No more replies and no returned text back from the numbers they provide. Horrible customer service once they have your money. They will lie and say anything to get a sell and won't offer any disclosures or copies of the membership agreement that I didnt sign. Located in a office building where a bunch of studios rent out space! So they only have a very tiny office! The door is covered with blinds! I had a very pleasant experience a bit more expensive than my usual place and the aesthetician I had didn't tweeze at the end like my usual place! nothing horrible to say about it I had a good experience! Could probably have a wax at a real waxing center for a better price though! read more
