But my experience with Aubrey has been so consistently excellent that I literally have to come on here and sing her praises. I came in for my very first ever brazilian a couple of months ago and at first I was so anxious and terrified. But after my first session with Aubrey, it became something I genuinely look forward to every single month. Not only is she amazing at what she does and makes it as quick and painless as possible, but she is also a genuinely amazing person as well. She coached me through every step of the way, and made me feel so comfortable I left in even better spirits than when I came in. I literally cannot compliment her enough. As of now I come in once (to now twice) a month for what is very long (1-2 hour full body sessions) and I have such a great time throughout the session I lose track of time and can't even feel the pain. I just moved back here about a week ago and was looking for a good wax place. I come across this place from yelp and it had decent reviews. I regret my decision VERY MUCH! Some people may have different experiences, but I booked an appointment same day and got a Brazilian from annalyn, she was nice but, she needs to relearn how to wax! If you book this place DO NOT book with her. I left there with an unfinished job! Ther was still hair as well as my skin ripped in many places and the next day I woke up and it was SWOLLEN! I do not wish this pain on anyone. Please if you look at and read this review fully PLEASE listen because this is horrible. Upon entrance the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and welcoming. Katelyn did my waxing. My first impression was.. wow she's straight in and straight to work! She waited while I undressed and literally went right in. I asked her to, just talk to me and to not tell me when she pulled which, worked out perfectly fine, and kept me relaxed At one point, I did screamed like Mariah but I made it through! It was a fast process, free parking in a great location and not bad at all. I took my friend to get her first ever wax. She was already really nervous and her waxer did not make her feel any better. She was clearly annoyed that my friend was in pain and hesitant. Even told her she was her "worst patient ever." I have a membership with Hello Sugar, but I live in Kansas. I was traveling for work, and checked to see if there were any available appointments the moment my plane landed. Thankfully there was one left for the day. (I had to cancel my appointment in Kansas for this work trip.) I chose the first available aesthetician and was assigned to Aimee. She made my entire experience great! She is very personable, was able to carry a great conversation, and made sure that I was completely satisfied with my services. If I am in the area needing to book an appointment again, I will be seeking out Aimee! Overall, the salon is very beautiful and comfortable. I love that the membership allows me to take care of my sugaring needs, even when I'm not at my "home" salon. read more

Personal hygiene is an area that a lot of woman are uncomfortable to talk about so let me share my experience. I have been getting waxed for years now, Brazilian! I recently moved to the Tempe area and it's hard to find someone you trust, feel comfortable with, and it's not too painful lol Liz was incredible. We chatted the whole time. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The facility was very clean. She educated me on other services they often. It was less than 20 minutes. There is a promo for $20 Brazilian (this is unheard of) right now or a free bikini wax. They offer a membership if you're interested. There is free parking around the corner in the parking garage. If you're doing research on a new place for a Brazilian waxing, READ THIS! This is your new place! Booking is really cool via secure texting (like when you message Apple) and you get email and text confirmations/reminders. The esthetician waits in the room while you undress and gets right to work. Takes no longer than 20 mins start to finish. Nice to wear slippers or sandals so you can be in/out. I highly recommend booking with Annalyn or Cass because of how comfortable they made me feel. I like how they ask your preferences, and talk you through it. I've never felt like they were judging, rushing or impatient when I needed to take a break. I also recommend the monthly membership to help you stay accountable for going routinely. It would be cool if they did special things for members like a swag/goodie bag or discount or free wax during your birthday month. Overall this place is really nice and I felt prices were comparable to other places for this service. I also felt the products used were high quality. Ok first time trying the sugar for my underarms! Gabriela Trejos was my esthetician today who came highly recommended. She was incredibly knowledgeable, so sweet, and so dang fast! I can't even call to cancel/reschedule an appointment due to a recommended quarantine I am now undergoing. The automated prompt says they will text you and I received no text. I went ahead and text the number I called to see if that worked. No response. I am not interested in not having more control of my appointments. Clearly can't be the only one reading the other complaints. I won't be coming to this establishment due to the complicated process, but I'm sure they do great work. A majority of the review revolves around first impressions so I don't find it fair to provide a one star, but they need to be held more accountable. read more
