I had to wait to get on the spa table as the break is broken. She joked about not wanting it to fly into the wall. I purchased the lash lift & tint thur Groupon for $56. Ali asked if I've had lifts before and I let her know yes, years ago. She stated she's had trouble with the lifts taking on customers. I should've read all the reviews as it seems to be a lot of customers. I'm use to the person cleaning off lashes, and taping bottom lashes. Then measuring the rod to see which fit. We went with a small and she said she had to tape my lashes as my lashes didn't fit on the rod. I'm not sure what she is using but getting lash lifts for 6 years never had an issue. So she tapes my lashes and applied the solution. She puts a timer on for 9 minutes. After she puts the tint on and asked if it burns. Which it didn't. I asked about brow lamination/tint and she said we could do it for $50 as she charges more on her site. Then she did a brow/lip wax. After she showed me my results and they seemed off. She must have seen my facial expression because she said oh we can't brush or get them went for 24-72 hours. Later on in the day my lashes started to burn and not even look like a lift. Then the brown lamination/tint was clumped and didn't take as well. $76 gone for services that didn't take. Wax was good but everything else is disappointing. I sent her email about my lashes and got no response.

I was taken in as soon as I arrived for my appointment. In fact, I arrived about 5 mins early so that I wouldn't take up much of her time and so that she can continue conducting business after the service was completed. If I had been running late, I would have done my best to reach out to communicate that. Anywho, Carlee conducted a phenomenal job and this has been my 8th return to Lunchbox. As long as she remains with the business, I will continue coming back as her service is one of a kind. They said at least I had to be off antibiotics for two weeks. Unfortunately, I had to be on antibiotics for a few months because I was ongoing an infection that I could not get rid of. Finally, I have been off the antibiotics for two weeks and I called to schedule my appointment. Told them I was ready to receive my Wax service. Also mentioned I had my Bogo free appointment that I was promised because that was my next Wax service. They told me they cannot honor it because I did not come back in a few weeks. However, they were the one that turned me away due to antibiotics and told me I was not allowed to come back until I was off of them for two weeks. They told me they couldn't honor it because it was too long. I am a cosmetologist and have been in the beauty industry for almost 30 years. I would never give a gift card or offer service and then take it away due to a client being sick. That's saying like a gift card expires in a few months. I have been going to them for multiple Waxing services for months prior to this. They said that there is nothing I could do. Very disappointed because I am the type of woman that stays with a licensed professional once I find somebody I like. I will now be moving on to other options and places now. Customer service is definitely not the way it used to be. Very disappointing.
