I'll do it if you really want to, but you don't need it." Absolute pleasure spending my hard earned money at C'zar. The people are amazing (so kind and funny and just human), the atmosphere is so relaxing, plus you can get hand massages and scalp massages when you get shampooed. She listens to your body and follows her intuition. Instead of kneading out the knots, she loosens the acupressure spots and releases tension. I also explored acupuncture with her which was a really cool experience. I always leave the spa feeling like a noodle:) I've been to the other Czar salon/spas and this is by far the most modern. I love that the spa is upstairs and away from the hustle/bustle of the salon. It is still a bit distracting because there are hair chairs/space that share a wall with the spa rooms. I guess that's just what you get for going to a spa inside a salon. I'm considering booking their acupuncture /massage special because Chona is incredible. She's been very helpful on my healing journey.

The guy working on my nails did one nail that was a little harsh, and I ouched. I told him I had psoriasis in my nails and that was painful. Most other places I've been to go gently after they've been informed. This guy started pinching a lot more with his nail. I had a little itch in my hair so I rubbed it. And he said not to touch my hair. I pulled my hand up to see the nails and he not pull up my hand as the polish will start running. What?!?! I've never had this kind of poor experience before. I had French manicure with a coat of sparkles.....he never asked what kind of sparkles I wanted, just applied whatever was on his table. Then charged me $15 extra for "the design". My granddaughter had dip with different nail colors, and he charged I think $25 extra for her. A total of $168 for 2 rude manicures. When we walked out I asked my granddaughter casually how she liked it, and her reply was they're very condescending and she didn't feel like even asking them for a free drink. The free drink is definitely not worth the amount we paid and the worst service we ever received. Never going back and will advise all my friends and family to avoid this place. I found this tanning salon from a Groupon and they were not snobby or rude at all about using a discount (some places are). They also have a nice referral program. I like that they offer a lot of tan shades. If you are on the pale side I would highly suggest the medium-light shade. My tans always come out pretty even and natural looking. I definitely feel more confident wearing white when I have a nice light tan. If I'm tanning for a Saturday I prefer to go on Wednesday for it to look the most natural, Thursday wouldn't be bad either it's just very dark for any event I have on Friday. Make sure to follow all of their helpful guidelines they email you so that you can have the best tan possible, the tips really do make a difference. I also like that they don't try to upsell you stuff while you are there. They will only suggest something if you ask or it makes sense. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone for any occasion but you can definitely trust them for your big life events!

At one point I had to relocate to Springfield, OH for work and would drive 60 miles one way to the closest EWC location in Dayton to be taken care of. I religiously only use EWC because I had several very bad experiences at other places before discovering EWC, but I've never had a bad experience in 3 years with them. Every location is incredibly clean and hygienic, and all the staff are very friendly. I know that wherever I'm at I can expect a high level of care and cleanliness anytime I walk into an EWC location. (Glen Ellyn is by far my favorite though).
