My granddaughter and I were way early for our appt., so I asked if anyone could take us now. The reply was, nope 4.30, although there were several employees sitting around. So we went browsing by the mall and walked in at 4.25 pm. My granddaughter was taken to a spot at the end of one row, and I was at the other. The guy working on my nails did one nail that was a little harsh, and I ouched. I told him I had psoriasis in my nails and that was painful. Most other places I've been to go gently after they've been informed. This guy started pinching a lot more with his nail. I had a little itch in my hair so I rubbed it. And he said not to touch my hair. I pulled my hand up to see the nails and he not pull up my hand as the polish will start running. What?!?! I've never had this kind of poor experience before. I had French manicure with a coat of sparkles.....he never asked what kind of sparkles I wanted, just applied whatever was on his table. Then charged me $15 extra for "the design". My granddaughter had dip with different nail colors, and he charged I think $25 extra for her. A total of $168 for 2 rude manicures. When we walked out I asked my granddaughter casually how she liked it, and her reply was they're very condescending and she didn't feel like even asking them for a free drink. The free drink is definitely not worth the amount we paid and the worst service we ever received. Never going back and will advise all my friends and family to avoid this place. They should be reported to BBB for their disdainful attitudes and rip off charges. Classy is way too unclassy. read more

I recently came in on a Friday for a Dip Manicure. I had previously gotten 2 manicures there; on those they did a great job; both manicures lasted almost a month. However this time why are my nails chipping after a week and a half? I came in on a Friday and they were booked; after waiting 30 minutes they managed to get me in. This was my first visit. I got one of the worst pedicures ever! This was a waste of $44. She didn't even ask me what shape I wanted. I had to tell her that I wanted square but she gave me round. New Wheaton resident. I needed to find a new salon. Celine aka Danada nails where I usually frequent closed at 5. I initially went to Grand Nails but that place was packed. Highly recommend an appointment there. Called Classy and was seen in five minutes. Ironically the salons look the same on the inside. When I walked in small crowd, I saw maybe 3-4 other women there at 6 on a Friday. There were signs everywhere saying, "lower your volume and limit your phone usage" something like that. First, how can a nail salon tell you that? Almost seems illegal. Second, and this is a pro you get a free cocktail and I mean a legit drink with paid services over $30. That was nice. Large, massage chairs, glass candy jars (yay), deluxe pedicure specials are cheaper than I've seen in other areas. For instance a milk & honey pedi is $58 or 68 but 58 sounds more realistic. read more

Buyer beware. I was hoping to give my wife a nice birthday present. I called made a reservation for her and her friend. I asked the answering employee if I could prepay in advance. I was told no but could purchase a gift card in advance. I said great let's do that. I bought the gift card and gave it to my wife. When she showed up the manager said the gift card wasn't good and would not be activated until the next day, so she had to pay for herself and her friend. I reached out to the Classy Nails & Spa and expressed my disappointment and asked for an explanation. I still have not heard back from them. Oh, and one day after the manicure? The polish started to chip off. I don't know if or how the other Classy franchises operate but I would stay away from the one in Wheaton. There is a new women DO NOT get your eyebrow waxed by her. She took off half my eyebrow left them curvy and made them MUCH thinner, I was in tears. Sarah is the BEST nail tech I've ever worked with. She is so quick and impresses me every single time I bring her a new design for my nails. She knows the colors so well that if I rarely look at the dip colors anymore, she just brings me what I want. The salon itself is clean and modern. Everything looks classy and there is always good music playing. They also offer a variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) while you receive your service. I feel partly guilty writing this review because I'm kinda cheating on my normal nail salon. Eek!! ;-) My normal place hasn't been practicing the best hygienic practices during COVID-19 times, so after talking with my friend she mentioned this place and now I've got my new nail salon. Yay! Temperatures are taken right away, hand sanitizer is available and required upon entry, masks are required, and social distancing is practiced. So important!! I'm just a simple pedi girl, but the pedicures here are so wonderful. From the wonderful polish selection to the comfy chairs, the pleasant staff to the smell good products... it's a lovely experience through and through. Genuinely the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. I came in with a full set of nails with the perfect shape and length and said I wanted the exact same thing. They said no problem, then began working on my nails. He cut the first nail a little short so I reminded him I wanted them a little longer; like the exact same length I came in with. He continued to cut them all shorter than I would like but it didn't ruin the nails. The problem came when my left thumb was way shorter than the rest. I said something about it and the manager told me it's too late to re-do it and that I should've told him I wanted longer when he started. I did. Then he began working on my French tip and it was just so poorly done and did not look clean or cute at all. I politely asked if he could make the white part of the French tip not go so far down my nail and he got so angry he told me he was soaking off my acrylics and that I needed to leave. He aggressively started cutting the nails and made me leave the salon with my nails looking like this: I have never been treated so poorly for telling a service worker how I wanted something done when I am paying a lot of money for a service. One star because I can't give zero. Went in for a simple round shaped French tip manicure two weeks before my wedding to see if I wanted to use this place. Thank god I tried it first because it was so so bad. Can't get much simpler than this but they totally botched it, sent me out with smudged nails and parts of my nails not even covered, and they were extremely rough with my nail beds, making them bleed more than a few times. If I knew the name of the woman who did my nails I'd say but I don't. Never going back here. Waste of time and money. read more

Really not a great experience here as a first time client. I came here since I was in the area and they had Sunday hours. I only had a simple no chip manicure. I was shocked when I was sitting with my no chip removal to see the areas were not sprayed down or sanitizers used between guests. I should have got up and left but felt like I was in a bad situation since they started on my nails. They then moved me to the right side next to the wall. You are honestly next to a dusty and dirty return air vent. My polish job was nice but very thin. I get no chip all the time and this chipped 6 days later and I don't use my nails that often. After upgrading my pedicure the tech cut my foot and broke skin to the point of bleeding on the bottom of my heel and its extremely painful to walk on. Never apologized and proceeded to cautiously continue my "callus removal" which was nothing I would pay extra for in the future. Thought for sure she would remove the extra charge but did nothing of the sorts. My friends chair massage wasn't working but they wouldn't move her to a chair that worked. I chose a matching pedicure and no chip color and they look nothing alike. My nails are brown and my toes are pink. The owner blamed OPI but you can clearly see the correct color underneath so my guess is the salons top coat effected the color. Worst mani /pedi I've ever had. And they tried to blame MY skin type for the reason for the cut and asked me to take my review down. Weird, been getting mani/pedis for over 20 yrs and never been cut or had my skin type be the blame. How unprofessional and not a way to do business or treat customers. This was my first time at this salon and it will not be my last. I stopped in for an acrylic fill and no-chip pedicure. The salon is clean, large, and the vibe is super mellow. They really encourage clients to put the phone down, turn the ringer off, and relax. Music is played at a soothing level, TVs are on but muted, and their drink/bar options are pretty extensive. Wow the place is gorgeous and the mani cure and pedicure best I ever gotten. Zoey was magnificent. I was not cut NOT NIPPED not torture did not feel no pain. Best chair massage I ever sat on. I was truly pampered this time. I was so happy and my manicure was the best too. No nipping the cuticles it hurts when they nip NOT HERE. Zoe was very professional she did I wonderful job with my French manicure and she took time to remove the access base I had from the previous place and she even put ryne stones very cute. I visited Classy Nails and Spa yesterday for the first time (I had a gift card from a friend) and was scheduled for a no-chip manicure and regular pedicure. The overall experience was lackluster; my technician was fine but not personable and could have been more clear with instructions (I.e. when to lift feet out of the water for pedicure). I kind of felt like an imposition on her the whole appointment. My pedicure was fine, and when I went to sit in the manicure chair I smudged one of my toes. She removed all the polish and added one coat of polish and one coat of top coat to "fix" it; the color I got was a pale pink and streaky enough already, so now I have one toe that looks even worse than the rest. The salon said any bottle of polish could be done as a no-chip. I was getting my nails done for my bridal shower, so I decided to go with matching. I noticed the technician had to dig to find a color for my gel mani, and the color was not an exact match. She did not ask me if it was okay before she started painting my nails, and I would have gone with a different color completely if there was no matching manicure color. She also did not ask me what shape I wanted before filing my nails, which I found odd. I'm very disappointed at how streaky my nails look and especially now that two of my fingernails have already chipped. I was excited to have a great mani pedi before a special day for me, and now I'll be trying to repair the mistakes at home on my own. There may be other worthwhile technicians here that I was not able to work with, but I do not feel like making the trip out to see if that's true. read more

First timer, ever, getting a pedicure and first timer at this nail salon. I also had an eyebrow and upper lip waxing. It was a very good experience. I was able to get in for an appointment within 15 minutes. All of the staff were wearing masks. Eyebrows looked great and so did upper lip after the waxing. The lady did a very nice job sculpting my brows. Then onto the pedicure, where I was seated in a massaging chair, offered a menu to select a beverage and my choice of pedicure. I went with the Milk & Honey 6-step, which included a salt soak, a sugar scrub, a mud mask, callus treatment, butter cream massage and moisturizer. Then onto the nail polish. My feet feel and look great now. The price wasn't bad and I was happy with the service. I would go back again. read more

There was no pressure to pick out a color quickly, everyone was BEYOND nice/friendly, and the cherry on top was the complimentary drinks! This is hands down the best nail place I have ever been to. I get Michelle and Sarah most of the time and they are always so friendly. They do a great job with eye brows as well. They always try to make your experience above and beyond and talk to you. They have a amazing customer service and one heck of a staff. I have been going there since they opened and will not go anywhere else because of how great of a job they do and how nice they are. The staff always asks if you want something to drink no matter what. They also have a wide variety of colors to choose from no matter what type of service you are getting. You don't see that at most nails places. You normally see a selected few. They are willing to go above and beyond just to make you have a wonderful experience, especially during these rough times with the pandemic. The shape is wonderful and she really took her time, even though she had to stay after closing time to finish. Everyone there was very friendly and fun to chat with! And the complimentary glass of wine was a really nice bonus I went in to get a dip manicure redone (several weeks after I got it done elsewhere) and I expected to pay for the removal, plus a new dip, plus a manicure - the price turned out to be much less than expected with the manicure (cuticles etc) added in for only $5! This was my second go round with Classy Nails and I can honestly say I won't be going back. This is the second time my friend and I had booked appointments with specific technicians and didn't get them. They also tried to seat us across the aisle from each other instead of together. Terry was friendly and nice unlike Jenny who didn't even say hi. While she was friendly, she tore my cuticles up!!!! They are still quite tender but have finally stopped bleeding. Not a great experience. I got a manicure today and 4 of my ten fingers/cuticles bled and now I have red wounds in the shape of my cuticles and they look and feel terrible. It is 8 hours later and I have them wrapped in bandaids with Neosporin. Ouch. I don't want to get an infection and I hope the tools she used were sterilized. She rushed and didn't soak them for longer than a minute and I'm sure that is why. It was careless and I won't be back. read more

This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been to and if I could give them a zero star rating, I would. I only went in to get my dip manicure removed and the lady that did it completely damaged and ruined my natural nails underneath. Usually when removing a dip manicure you let the nails soak in acetone for several minutes before filing with the drill, but this lady let them soak for maybe a minute or two before very aggressively and very harshly using the drill to remove the dip polish. She completely destroyed my nail plate and drilled so hard that I left with very thin, fragile, and cracked nails. It took months for them to grow out and be restored to their original condition. I will never step foot in this salon again and I highly recommend you don't either. read more
