Although the guy was very nice and stayed until all the TV's were installed (1am). He damaged the wall in my bedroom pretty bad. When my husband remove the TV from its bracket to see if it could be moved over since the guy didn't center it. We saw this through the bracket. DO NOT USE HelloTech. I contracted with them to wall mount a 75" TV and a Sound Bar. I was very clear that they would need 2 techs to safely mount the TV. They only sent one, and my wife needed to help him lift and mount the TV. He didn't wall mount the Sound Bar, but HelloTech STILL CHARGED ME for it, $59 + tax. I've called them twice and they assure me they will get the charge removed from my credit card. It's been 2 weeks and they haven't. I have filed a dispute through my credit card company. HELLOTECH is clearly demonstrating a willingness to charge customers for services they have not performed. Strongly recommend you avoid them. read more

I had just purchased a computer from Best Buy and needed some help setting it up. I made the soonest appointment the Geeks had for the following Wednesday, a few days away. When the arrival window was nearly up I went to call them to check when they were coming but accidentally I called Hello Tech. When I finally spoke to the representative I learned I had actually made the appointment for the following Wednesday. I was able to reschedule for the next Tuesday but that was still 6 days away. I decided to try Hello Tech. They asked me several questions about what I needed and were able to get an expert out to me in a few hours, same day I called them. Michel called me and confirmed the appointment and arrived exactly on time. She was exceptional and an expert. She set up everything perfectly and did not rush through the job. She spent an adequate amount of time with me to make sure I understood everything. I cannot recommend this company or this person more highly. read more

Eric knocked it out the park. He first came in an got all our devices up and runnin to full Potential, then got them all talking, an finally got the hue system all up and running. We have light now!! The best part is that he not only fixed it but showed me how to maintain it, instead of someone just coming in and fixing it an never showing me what they did or even how they did it. Their web site states 100% satisfaction but when I called to ask them to remedy the situation they said no problem but we have to charge you for another service call. Log Entry Day 13 No end in sight. After multiple near sightings I remain alone, abandoned in my quest to have my Ring Pro doorbell installed. What I initially assumed was only the Geekatoo team's total incompetence to even schedule, much less keep an appointment, has been proven to be much more sinister than that, they may actually be idiots. I'm at a loss as to how I should proceed. If I keep the dialogue going perhaps I may eventually get actual phone call form a real person but, should I do that knowing that I will eventually be abandoned, waiting for my Ring Pro installation in vain. My memory is fading but, I seem to recall that I've had two techs assigned, the first didn't want to come but reluctantly agreed to do so only to cancel a few hours later when his father came down sick - no reschedule. The second never called in spite of at least 6 messages thrown into the ether via e-mail (and to be fair they were all answered but, with a 'we'll get back to shortly') - they never did. I'm torn waiting for these morons to respond to me or, freeing myself from their sick games once and for all, even if that means living estranged from society, without a working doorbell.
