I had been putting off fixing my daughter's cracked screen on her iPad because I was dreading the hassle, and it still worked. I decided with the kids back in school that it was time. After reading reviews I contacted Adam late last Wednesday. He called back first thing Thursday morning to let me know he could repair the screen, and was available any time that day. I was shocked after seeing estimates of a week or two for others to repair devices, once they could fit you in their schedule. He told me that it would take 90 minutes. I drove to his house and took a walk around the neighborhood while he fixed it. It looks and works like new and he was finished even quicker than expected. As a result, I immediately called my wife who was in the process of shipping her iPhone to Apple for a battery replacement. She was able to get a refund from Apple For their pre-pay policy and took her phone to Adam on Friday night after work, and he was able to replace the battery in 20 minutes, and save her 10 days without her phone, for less than Apple wanted to charge. I was further impressed that he was able to work around her schedule and handle this Friday evening. We couldn't be happier! Late on a Friday night, the metal on the end of an iPhone charger snapped off in the charging port of my wife's phone. A quick Yelp search turned up Adam at iFix-Olathe. After reading the reviews, I determined pretty quickly that he would be my first call in the morning. The next morning (Saturday) I texted him a description and pictures of the issue. His almost immediate response was "Yes, I can help you with that." Within the next hour, on a Saturday morning, I was at his house, sitting in his kitchen, watching him remove the broken off piece of metal from my wife's phone. The entire repair took approximately five to ten minutes in total. While we were talking, I mentioned that my wife had also recently complained about being able to barely hear calls no matter how high the volume was turned up. Adam actually said that the problem was a common one and checked to see if he had the replacement part on hand, which he did. Another 10 minutes or so and he was closing the phone back up with the repairs completed. After a few quick tests to verify that the problem was solved, I was out the door in about a half an hour. I think it is important to explain that while doing the repairs, Adam took the time to show me what was causing the volume problem (dust and dirt collecting on the ear speaker). Besides, the good work, I found Adam to be friendly and welcoming. This is a side business for him that he runs out of his house. While his skills in tech repair are excellent, his customer service was second to none. When I contacted him initially, I thought that he was the shop by Target on 119th. My mistake, however, and not an uncommon one according to him. I'm happy to leave a five star review for his services. read more

Completely destroyed my iPhone 7. After dropping off the iPhone i received it back with an extremely discolored screen and without the home button working. He said the home button wasn't fixable and I would have to use an on-screen workaround. Totally not acceptable, you should stand by your work and replace a phone if you screw it up. Adam installed a new battery in my iPhone in about 20 minutes. Later in the day, my husband laid his phone on top of our car and forgot it until he saw it fly off and bounce end-to-end on the highway. Amazingly the only thing broken was the screen.
