I had been buying propane from them for over 48 years with no problems. The place had a propane tank here belonging to the previous owner which became mine when I bought the place. The place was his camp at the time. Then after years of filling my tank they took my tank and regulator and put in there tank and regulator. They would fill there tank every 6 months then after years they stopped so I would be getting less then 40 gallon per year so they could then charge there $105.52 rental fee which is BS. I paid the bill and they told me when I get it switch out to call them and they would pick up there tank. I bought a new tank and regulator and installed it. I called them and told them they could pickup there tank. They told me there was a $165 charge for picking up there tank. I told them I wasn't paying them $165 to pickup there tank and I loaded it on my truck and took it to them. The lady kicked me out of her office Saying I wasn't suppose to move the tank so I just unloaded the tank which was almost empty and left. I got rid of them and will never do business with them again. This company is stealing from people! There criminals! It is what I call a snake pit. This business should be shut down by the state.

This is a company who does not accommodate their customers, in our experience, at least. Their…read moremost recent transgression comes on the heels of a 24-hour power outage last week. Fortunately, we have a propane-powered generator. The tank was down to 58% after restoration of the power, so we called them for a refill. They refused, saying our tank was at 70%, based on their remote reading. Yet, I looked right at the gauge and saw that it was at 58%. We asked twice for a refill; twice they refused. And now, we are without power again, and again it's a Saturday, so Griffith/Superior is closed today and tomorrow. If this power outage lasts more than a day and a half, we'll be out of propane, for no other reason than Griffith chose to ignore us; a customer who, like all Griffith's customers, pays dearly for their propane.

After CLEARLY stating it was the opinion of other customers that made them do away with the card option. There are many other propane carriers with cheaper prices than you get with the co-op that I will happily be changing to, as the owner then state enjoy paying Ferrell propanes high prices, he apparently only backs his partnership when you're part of the co-op, which I reported to Ferrell and advised it was due to them, that I was cancelling. The owner let me know others would find my bad review comical. If you want to pay a yearly membership fee, get spammed with emails that you haven't paid when you did, deal with a rude business owner, pay mediocre pricing, and risk having your membership taken away for having an opinion, join the co-op, seems he even takes membership away if people comment on Facebook and hurt his feelings. Owners sensitive, short fuse, and all around terrible at doing business with.
