Poor care. Lazy caregivers entitled to change the rules as they please. Sit on arse and don't do anything. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lack of communication. Hired in May 2024. This is now August and still not a client. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Do not waste your time to get job at that Help at home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They will ask you to fill out a lot of paperwork with your personal information, spend hours on bogus training, and then you will get only one job offer in four months. Let me express myself after working with help at home in Jefferson City Missouri. Don't even try to work for this company I'm not kidding you you will spend 3 days do an in-home training and won't get paid for it and then they say you're $100 bonus covers that but you have to work 180 days in 3 months to get. They make it impossible for you to ever get your bonus. My first day when I went into work I didn't even get to meet my supervisor she had everybody do the work for her and then when I finally did get to meet with her she wore a low-cut shirt with her cleavage sticking out how unprofessional. They don't care about their caregivers and they don't care about the clients I know several clients that have went out without caregivers but yet they say that they have no clients. I want to know how this company is getting paid the only thing I can think of is they could be possibly you know I'm not saying they are ripping off the state claiming hours that have not been served. I used to work at the downtown office. Some (not all) of the staff members are rude. I left the company because I also didn't get paid. The union (SEIU) is not helpful when it comes to grievances. I loved working with the seniors. I miss my clients very much. My client left the agency once I left. read more

(i wish i could give negative stars!) it's really sad that such a horribly-run business is in the business of "helping" very sick, disabled and elderly people. 8 years of personal experience (not my choice--the city hires this agency and i use the city) to back this up. years of putting up with one intimidating employee (my "assistants") were bad enough. but most of the employees (who make very little, sadly) care FAR more about their disabled and elderly clients than do any of the often selfish, lazy, unprofessional and downright rude staff. i wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. i'd rather have NO help than endure all i have been through. read more
