I bought a watch there, and when I tried it on, found it was too big. The woman offered to remove a link, which I accepted, and it fit nicely. However, I was not told that this "resizing" was would mean the store would not honor a return. When I found I needed to return it because the watch rubbed my wrist uncomfortably, I learned this was the case. I also had the link that was removed, but it didn't matter. It is otherwise a nice watch, but I am disappointed by the service and unwillingness to make sure customers are happy with their purchase and fully understand the implications of a resizing. Staff is really nice. The place is clean. They offer layaway. I really don't know what to say because it's a jewelry store. They were really patient with my daughter and picking out prom jewelry. Prices are fair I guess but I wouldn't know the difference anyway. read more

I went to Helzberg diamonds with my watch I recently bought from Dillard's. I asked for an opinion on its fit and was instructed that taking a link out could make it snug, but fit better. I give this location a second star only because they have a decent selection compared to a couple of other jewelry stores in the mall. I can't speak to price as no one offered me any help. I was shopping around for my wife's birthday and was checking out the selections at a few stores. I walked in and was browsing this Helzberg store, no one offered to help me, I assume everyone is busy, so I decided to shop around and come back. I came back and stood there as the three sales reps were chit-chatting behind the counter, and no one acknowledged me standing there. The one person in that group that eventually looked right at me, was an angry looking woman with a Mohawk, and she didn't say they would be right with me or even flash a smile. So I left again. I walked in and browsed this store a total of 4x and no one acknowledged me. In all my years of retail, I learned if you see a potential customer walk into your store, you at least say hello, let along 4x. It's a mall... save you're the time and frustration, shop somewhere else. read more

The Good: Walking through the mall with the boyfriend and we decided (randomly) to go look at rings, the closest one to us was Helzberg so we went in there. They have a great selection and i felt there prices were great. The staff was very sweet and worked with us on the design because i am really picky. We ended up buying the ring on the spot... ya i know i'm not supposed to see it, but it was on sale and we didn't want to miss out. The Bad: After the proposal and me finally getting to wear the ring i took it in to get cleaned and there customer service (the same two ladies) where rude and cold :( The Ugly: Decided that since we bought my engagement ring there that we should go look for both our wedding bands. The tables had turned the sales staff (funny enough same two ladies) where VERY pushy and then when we told them that we didn't want to purchase the rings right now they tried to "sweeten" the deal by giving us a teddy bear. Because that is so true i am going to spend a couple grand on rings here just for that teddy bear?!?!?!?! We didn't purchase anything else from them. read more

Stopped into the store to get a battery replaced for my watch. A nearby jewelry store was going to charge me $45....way too much! Kay, the manager, looked at it quickly and said the charge would be $15. I told her about the other jeweler's price. She said it was a common, everready battery and was swapped out in less than 5 minutes. I then looked for a bracelet for my wife. Outstanding service, great prices, and they are a member of the American Gem Society, ensuring ethical treatment of customers. Highly recommend the store and its staff....I'll be back! read more

Went in to this location to get 3 pieces of jewelry inspected, cleaned and a necklace repaired. 3 ladies behind the counter chit chatting away, barely acknowledging my presence, when one of them finally looked at me and asked "if I needed anything"? Her name was Heather. I told her why I was there and then proceeded to give her my jewelry and the warranty paperwork for her to sign off on once they were inspected. One of the pieces of jewelry was a bracelet. She asked me if "I wore it everyday" and when I told her not everyday she said "ok" and then said she was just going to sign off on the paperwork. She never looked at the bracelet. She didn't inspect it and she didn't clean it. She did nothing. From that moment on when I was looking around the store while she did whatever she WAS going to do with the rest of my jewelry, she was rude. I asked a couple questions, tried to make small talk, mainly about jewelry but she never smiled and she barely answered me. She acted as if I was bothering her. Like it wasn't her job to actually interact with a customer who was shopping at the store she WORKS at. So when she was done on the computer entering my information she handed me 2 claim checks for the repair on my broken necklace. As I was looking them over, I asked her if she had an approximate date of when the repair would be done AND if her name was somewhere on the receipt. She looked at me and the only thing she answered was "three weeks". I couldn't believe it. I literally had to ask her what her name was before she would say it. She offered nothing else and nothing more. I was beyond shocked at how she continued to be so unfriendly and so unprofessional especially in the job position she's in. The lack of customer service skills and how completely unfriendly she was left me leaving the store thinking, I won't ever go back. I definitely won't shop or purchase anything from this store again and when I do have to deal with them in the future because of the warranties I have on some of my jewelry, it will be at another Helzberg store. There are 2 other major jewelry stores located at this same mall. Why do I or anyone else for that matter, ever have to endure such bad behavior when I can shop some place else!! read more

I walked into the store right after I got off of work dirty, sweaty, ripped pants and I was still quickly helped by an attendant they did not take any note of the dirty cloths I was wearing she answered all the questions I had and did not try to up sale me at all but actually find a ring that was below my budget and just what I was looking for I could not have been any happier with the service and friendly people that work there read more

My husband bought my ring from here I went today to get it cleaned, inspected and a couple diamonds replaced. The last time I was in the store I was told I didn't need the paperwork because they can look my information up in the system, today I was told I need the paperwork and I would be charged $150 at least for the work but they wouldn't touch it without the paperwork. I went to Kay jewelers to get another ring of mine cleaned they offered to clean and inspect my other ring as well and said they could replace the 2 small diamonds for $25 a piece and that I did not need paperwork for any of the rings because they keep track of everything through the computer, they also had paperwork but if for some reason it was misplaced they could look up my information. I have been a long time customer of helzberg however I would not recommend them to anyone after this experience check out Kay's! read more

Follow up to my previous review of this Store regarding repair of prongs. I sent the ring to a friend of mine who's husband is a reputable jewler on 5th Ave, NY, NY, he looked at it and said the prong broke because they used inferior solder that doesn't hold up. So had him replace all of the prongs year again. DO NOT use this jeweler for any repairs and I also wouldn't trust the quality of any of their merchandise. So frustrated that I trusted my jewelry to them. read more

Went in there with my girlfriend of four years looking for engagement rings, and had a great shopping experience with Helzberg Diamonds. Kay the manager there helped me out a lot through the process of designing my own ring and wedding band. She had great ideas on how to incorporate a stone from my girlfriends dad ring that he gave to her mom before he passed, so the wedding band has tremendous significance to it and I thank Kay and Lynn and the rest of the helzberg staff for such a great experience. I purposed to my girlfriend and she said yes, and is incredibly impressed with the rings, she says she gets compliments all the time on it. After all that she was so impressed she wanted to get me something special so I asked for a watch from helzberg. We went and ended up picking up 2 watches that are incredible, and we got a free Xbox S with the purchase. I also know everything we have purchased there has a great warranty and is covered on it so I don't have to worry about repairs and cleanings. Bravo! read more
