Lastly I had a bag of gold rings to sell. I wanted to say that EVERY EMPLOYEE was beyond polite and professional. They listened to every one of my 'ask's' and immediately said yes. They told me to give them a couple of days on the design for the new bracelet for my approval. When I received their ideas, it was exactly what I wanted. A week later my bangle and my bracelet were shortened perfectly. Two weeks later my cross bracelet arrived. Unfortunately, I damaged the clasp the first week. The damage was completely due to MY misuse. Not their skill. (I am EXTREMELY HARD ON JEWELRY) We took it back in to be repaired. I just picked it up. They put on a heavy duty clasp at my request. I went to pay and they didn't charge me. Now THAT's customer service!! We will be back. Thank you all for your assistance

A customer was asking for an explanation regarding a repair, I believe, and your employee could not have been more impatient and rude to her. The customer was calm and asking for additional information which the employee could not provide and I overheard the customer ask to speak to a manager, and your employee WENT OFF on her. I felt terrible for your customer as she was trying to be kind to your employee and maybe due to youth and inexperience your employee LOST IT. I left the store very upset witnessing this and I could see how upset the customer was as well. I will not be returning to a business who treats their customers with such disregard nor should an owner allow this type of behavior from any employee. (I am a small business owner and if any of my employees acted this way they would no longer be employed-it was that bad!!). Other customers could not help but overhear and see how inappropriate your employee was. I like to support local business, but not yours, unfortunately.

A Omega Marine chronometer - very obscure piece. I take it to a high end jeweler They send it to Zurich because there the only ones who can work on it. about a year and $400 later I have a new battery which promptly lasts 6 months. So I take it to fast fix and say "doubt you can work on this" Watch guy says I have heard of this but never worked on one let me take a look. So off to Perrys for lunch. 40 minutes later your Omega is done. You opted for the lifetime battery thats $70 . This watch only runs 5-6 month at a time. Brought it in recently as it was dead again. Lunch at Perry's and its working - new battery - no charge. So watch number 2 a 20 year old Rado made of synthetic sapphire/ceramic composite. I manage to break the custom clasp messing with it myself. Tiny parts fly across the room disappearing in my carpet for eternity. Off to two high end Jewlers. - We wont touch that send it to Rado in Switzerland. Be prepared for a huge bill. So on a whim I take it to FF and say what about this? This thing obviously spooked them as they are extremely hard to work on without damaging the bracelet that can cost in the 4 digits to replace. So I say take a look and f you can fix it go for it - entire staff sees this as a challenge. People are looking at it under microscopes to figure out how the original clasped worked. Gauntlet down - back to Perrys. I get a call 90 minutes later well we managed to repair it but we want to make sure your good with the cost of doing so. I as quoted a very reasonable figure that was an order of magnitude less than Rado. Whats shocking is there are no stock parts for this watch. They literally manufactured a tiny compression spring/rod with sub millimeter precision. Why? Because its a interesting piece and we appreciate your enthusiasm for fine watches and a challenge too. To people who say batteries cost a buck why is it so much. Well the sutures the surgeon put in cost a few cents plus some plasma anesthetic etc. Why was a transplant $300000 because there's years of training, supplies electricity, building a hospital and paying its staff. I feel like I got a surgical team on my watch complete with tiny instruments, microscopes, laser cutters and well trained personnel. Do the math - in my case it was WELL worth it. I cant vouch for other locations but I found the service here epic

Only the dial markers were reattached, and now there is no longer time to have the watch repaired before I need to wear it for an event. I could have had it repaired elsewhere in the same amount of time if they had let me know it would not be possible to repair it while it was in their possession. I'm honestly super upset to come back to pay for my watch to be repaired and learn that it still doesn't work. I didn't assume that keeping time was part of the service, I specifically asked for it to be able to keep time as part of the work order. No one called me, no one communicated that this would not be done. Instead they just played with my watch while real professionals could have been repairing it. Very upsetting.

When they mentioned the jeweler using the cad program, they told me that to set each stone is $100. I find this crazy given the quote from the place we visited after this. They also recommended I bring more gold in as trade when the other jeweler said the gold from my original ring && 1 other was more than sufficient to have my new ring made. Lastly, what the biggest standout was for me on service was the second jeweler I visited was very professional & even came down from his work space to look at my stones w/me as. As I was explaining what I wanted, he was able to sketch out EXACTLY what I wanted...not attempting to put it in a preexisting design. All in all, it felt like this jewelry store was more into the business of selling pieces rather than making. I'm giving 1 stars because of the absurd amount I was quoted, the lack of care for making a custom piece (not meeting w/the jeweler) & the disinterest felt by both women to work w/us. The jeweler said it would be no problem and he would have it done in a week. 10 days later I called. He said he needed to have a different jeweler look at it and he needed to take it to him in Parker. A week later I called and he said he had forgotten to take it to him but he would and get an estimate. A week later I called and he said it would be over $3,000 to fix. I was so confused because initially he said about $500. It was truly 2 small diamond chips that needed replacement. I provided him with new diamond chips. So the orginal ask was to replace the diamonds provided and fix the crack in the band. I said no thank you. I had my best friend pick it up because she lives very close to store. She brought it to me. The ring has been completely sawed in half. It is literally in 2 pieces. I am beside myself not knowing what to do. This man who calls himself a jeweler destroyed my deceased mother's ring. He should not be in business. Do not take your jewelry there. Specifically I was looking to get a custom piece of jewelry made for my girlfriend (birthday gift!). I brought in a cut and polished slice of meteorite and was looking to have it set into a pendant. I talked with John over the phone and met with him to discuss design and the timeframe I was trying to hit. The end quality of the piece was beyond what I had in mind and both myself and my girlfriend (in the end whose opinion matters) were very impressed. Beyond technical merit, I believe the appeal of the shop lies in John's passion for design and customer satisfaction. I never felt hurried and rushed to leave. He was more than happy to talk about the finer nuances of the business and educate me on some of my misgivings (I would not consider myself a sophisticated buyer of jewelry or gemstones). John tries to be a full service jeweler. He does repairs in addition to crafting unique pieces. He's been a professional goldsmith for more than 30 years as well as being a platinum specialist. John is a diamond broker as well and has quite a collection of unusual/fine gemstones. Being a graduate gemologist he showed me various stones I've never seen or even heard of.
