Not the same place it used to be. If you need repair or expert advise, unfortunately these are not the people to see. From what I understand, Creekside Jewelers was sold during COVID. While the owners are actively engaged in the business, neither are actually jewelers. We received poor communication and slow turnaround time for the ring brought in for inspection. There was damage to ring but it was returned with no mention of it. As a result, the diamond in the wedding ring was lost soon after. When I spoke with the owners about this, they told me that it was noted in their system but not anywhere I could see it. read more

This used to be a great business. We absolutely loved the old owners and their way of doing business. They made my wedding and recrafted my engagement ring 20+ years ago. Not the same business since the new ownership. We brought my rings in to be serviced and potentially swap out the original diamond for an upgraded diamond that I received from husband for christmas. We were going to have the original diamond put into a pendent. We were told that there was absolutely no way they could upgrade/swap out the new diamond-as it was too large. That was fine. We asked them to service the rings (look for needed repairs, swap out missing chips, clean etc...basically service it). They had my rings for an unusually long period of time. I called several times and there was question as to what they were doing with them. I received a call stating that the goldsmith looked over the rings and the only issue was that one chip was missing. They communicated the estimated cost to replace the chip. That was fine. I picked up my rings several weeks later and to my untrained eye they looked fine. Within two week my diamond fell out. I called communicated this misfortune and was assured that someone would call me back right away. A day passed. My husband and I brought it to another jewelry shop to see if we could have the new stone put in place and upon showing it to the jeweler he stated "no wonder you lost your diamond, you're missing three prongs". He said it was also not in a state that would indicate it was recently serviced. On top of that he said it would be a very easy process to put the upgraded/larger stone into the the setting. I called Creekside jewelers again and spoke with the owner where she informed me that they had on their INTERNAL paperwork that the prongs were missing and that the entire head needed to replaced. THIS WAS NEVER communicated to us. Why would we take the ring from their shop if it still needed repair? Why was it not written on any of our paperwork that the ring was vulnerable to losing its diamond and that the head needed to be replaced? Why when they called us to tell us the of the necessary repairs needed and the cost- did they only tell us of the missing chip and the cost of that repair??? When you bring a ring into a jewelry shop to be serviced, this should be part of the service. If there's anything compromising or in need of repair, it should be communicated. It is their liability. We had several phone calls and spoke in person and not once did anyone tell us the head needed to be replaced. Creekside Jewelers has taken no ownership of their miscommunication and instead are trying to blame the patron, the customer. They LIE. Not OK. Do not bring anything of any value into their store and leave it there and do not trust that they will be open and forthcoming with you. They are just a business trying to make money and do not care about the emotional or sentimof jewelry beought to them. Shameful, Dishonest and Unethical. read more

After having my rings resized I had to take my wedding ring back in due to poor workmanship. After dropping it off they actually accused me of bringing in a different wedding ring! They said they would NEVER let a ring leave with the prongs in such bad shape and a hole in the resizing on the back side of the ring. They misquoted me since she didn't realize there were two rings which you can clearly see (the engagement ring and wedding bThey charged me more than double than what I was originally quoted - $85 to $235. Instead of getting a phone call ahead of time letting me know that it was going to be more, they went ahead and did it. I didn't have much choice so they gave me a courtesy discount to $200. I was then told that they never quoted me the lower price and I was given a discount already. If they were correct, why the discount? I thought Creekside would stand by their workmanship, but instead I was accused of giving them a completely different ring! So I am a criminal and a liar! We love supporting our local businesses and giving them our $. Creekside was our "go to". Unfortunately, we will no longer be doing business with them. read more

Wish my review of Roger and Creekside Jewelers could be a positive one. I dropped my watch which had couple numerals jostled loose when I dropped on our carpet. Took it to Roger's shop to have it repaired by reattaching the numerals with glue. Upon my return to pick it up and examining it while I was being rung up, I noticed the "11" was off kilter and misaligned. I pointed it out to Roger, who said it would be rectified. OK, fine. When I went back the second time to retrieve my watch (and again examining it), I noticed the "11" had been replaced with numerals not native to the watch and manufacturer. OK, not fine. They said they would rectify it. I received a call the following week from them to say that they couldn't fix it and I had to send it in to the manufacturer and pay for a replacement watch face. When I went to pick up my watch, I told Roger I was disappointed and, shockingly, he squared around to me and in a heated, hostile voice told me it was my fault for dropping the watch. WOW. And there were other customers there. Astonished, I had to point out to him that either there's no quality control in workmanship before handing a repair back to customers or they just don't care. Neither is good and both are hubris, and I called him out for addressing a customer in the manner that he did with me -- also telling him that might be part of his issues and indicative of his work. We have been going to Roger for 12 years, mostly for watch batteries and cleaning, but we won't be going back now, sad to say, as we like to support local businesses. We'll go a couple blocks up the road. read more

This place is a great jewelry store! They have many options along different price ranges. My favorite is they have half-off estate jewelry in the back that they hand pick. They've fixed broken chains for me, put batteries back in watches, and cleaned a vintage ring of mine that really needed a lot of work. We've purchased a really affordable garnet necklace for my sister for her birthday, and I've gotten a really unique checker cut amethyst from them. You can design your own jewelry there, they will do a CAD drawing for you to see before progressing to the set piece. They also are a no-pressure business. We've gone in and browsed several times and never felt like they were leaning on us to make a purchase. read more

Absolutely amazing customer service. My fiancé and I were visiting from out of town and happened to wander in the shop. The owner was one of the nicest people I've ever encountered. I would give them all of my business if we weren't from out of state. The selection was stunning and the customer service went above and beyond. We bought my fiancé's wedding band here and we're unsure of the size since his finger was slightly swollen from traveling. The owner sold us the ring that was on display but assured us that once we got home and back to regular size if it was still too tight he would order us the next size up free of charge and exchange them for us since the ring couldn't just be resized. This is a ZERO-star review since I never did receive any service from anyone who works here. I walked in around 4:30 this afternoon to buy a new watchband and there were 3 women standing in the middle of the narrow store. None of them bothered to move to the side so I basically had to cut right through the middle of them to get to the so-called service counter at the back of the showroom. It's impossible to know if any of these three women actually worked there, as none of them bothered to acknowledge my presence, let alone greet me or make eye contact whatsoever. I stood awkwardly at the service counter for a good 10 minutes listening to these women yukk it up about how one of them had to get her mo-ped registered. The two jewelers working in the back of the store seemed to do everything they could to avoid eye contact so they wouldn't have to approach the counter. What's the deal? (Maybe tattooed Hapa women don't fit their ideal customer demographic? Too bad for them. Golden's full of us now.) I'm an avid supporter of local businesses and I've brought many items here in the past for repairs and they even made my engagement ring back in 2002. Now I see that they're too busy for my business, so I'll be sure to take it elsewhere. Oh, and I'll make sure to tell all my Hapa sisters do so as well. read more
