I had a wonderful experience here recently with Annie. It was about 5 minutes until closing, and I had called to ask if she could stay open just a little longer until I could make it in. My Grandmother had been in a nursing facility and really just wanted a donut and cup of coffee. Annie not only stayed open, but made me a fresh pot of coffee. Outside of Crispy Creme, this is by far my favorite donut place in town. Their prices are very reasonable, their donuts are amazingly good as well as fresh and the staff is very friendly. My kids love coming here as well. We usually get them to go, but we have eaten there as well, there is a small area with seating. I have not tried the sandwiches or other items, so I can't comment on those. read more

Well, I have to start by saying the donuts here are, in my opinion, really good. However, as a vegetarian for the last 2 years...I just found out TODAY that they use ANIMAL FAT for their oil. I know they know I'm a vegetarian because we've discussed it before so this makes me sad. Either: a) they don't care or b) they don't listen. Not sure which....went in today to ask about vegan donuts (decided to go vegan recently), and assumed the others were vegetarian (probably using milk) and that's when I found out! read more

I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN. I have come here several times with my family and have always received great service and great food. However this morning I witnessed the most appalling thing I have ever seen. A man whom I assume was homeless was sitting at the table next to us, he was eating two doughnuts he paid for and was drinking a coffee all while scribbling some words on a napkin. He was dirty, however didn't smell. Didn't bother anyone. He was politely sitting at the table writing things down and eating his food which he paid for. He accidentally bumped his coffee with his hands, which got over the table, chair and floor. He let the guy at the front know. So they could give him a rag so HE could clean it up. The guy In the front notified the lady in the back. The second she came out she rolled her eyes and shock her head at this man. She made him and I feel uncomfortable. She then proceeded to tell him he wasn't allowed to eat inside. The man grabbed his doughnut in his wet paper bag and half empty coffee and finished eating on the curb. She explained to me that he is dirty and because of that no one wanted to come there(which was bs the place was packed). The second she kicked him out, she happily told a family she cleaned the table for them and sat them down. He wasn't bothering anyone, he payed for his food and at first even wanted to clean up his own mess. He should have been treated the same way any paying customer. This establishment is a joke, the woman was the most cruel women I have ever encountered and and they should all be ashamed of their actions! Update: messaged owners about the situation, they ignored me and the problem I witnessed. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I still haven't gone back and still do not recommend. They clearly don't care about their customers, their experience and for some of the paying customers like this man in the story above. read more

When my boyfriend and I got here 30 minutes after opening, the owner told us that they were running a little behind in baking, so we didn't get to see their whole spread. BUT, because they didn't have any creme-filled donuts at the time, Steve offered to fill the donut bars with creme for us. Steve was incredibly nice. The shop was small, but well-kept. The doughnuts are 5 star, the employees are 5 star. The location is 1 star. That area of town is not the best already but as I was leaving the doughnut place I heard yelling and cursing in the parking lot near the dumpsters. Evidently a business owner or employee found someone shooting up behind the dumpsters and he told him "to go shoot up somewhere else." Good for him! The problem was this unstable person who was shooting up then left the dumpster area and walked towards where I was getting into my car. It just doesn't make you feel very safe. Sad to see this kind of thing in the town I grew up in. But I have to say the doughnuts are good enough to maybe take the risk. read more

There are a few really good donut shops in and around Hemet. Hemet Donuts, is right at the top of the list, in my opinion and the opinions of many other folks, as well. The shop is clean and brite. Their, friendly staff, happily serves you, from their, large display case, with, tray, upon tray, of, a wide variety of donuts, which are always fresh and prepared to perfection. If you have never had a blueberry donut, you are in for a truly decadent treat. This is a cake donut, moist and tasty, with a wonderful, blueberry frosting,that has bits of real fruit! These alone, are reason enough to keep coming back. And there are so many other choices. From plain cake donuts, glazed and frosted, twists and bars, to, old fashioned, and some unique, fancy offerings, the only thing you might struggle with, is deciding what not to include in your box! Thanks to fellow yelpers, hubby and I decided to come here for Sunday donuts. Ordered a half dozen and WOW!! They have a great selection. Next time, I will try the bacon donuts. The service was very nice and their ham and cheese croissants looked good too. The donut shop we usually go to are always out of everything by the time we get there (which is like 845 or 9am). They've got great donuts but I'd also stop in because they have an awesome ham, cheese and jalapeno croissant sandwich for under five bucks that easily kicks any fast food joint's burgers to the curb for the value, if you're looking for something a little different.
