My partner said the burger was good but it was more squishy with guacamole than he would have liked. I liked the club sandwich but felt that the proportion of bread to meat was off. There was too much meat and too little bread. And the sourdough bread it was on was so toasted that it was kind of sharp. The bacon also seemed like it had been sitting there and didn't have a crispy texture. We got fry sauce and ranch sauce to go with our tater tots and French fries. We enjoyed our food here but there could be some room for improvement with some of the proportions but overall it's a solid establishment where staff know locals' names. I like eating a salad without dressing, but these days what you get is a bagged salad that who knows how long it's been sitting around and it hardly taste like anything. If you get a couple of grape tomatoes thrown in there, you're lucky. You have to cover it up with dressing. At this place, you don't need a thing, past a little salt and pepper. So great! The other thing we had was the Ruben. Talk about good! For me it was a little salty, but other than that, it was served on dark rye like it's supposed to be served with a nice sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing. The French fries were crisp and not oily. They have quite a good selection of beers as well. The only thing to say in the negative, which is why this isn't a 5-star review, is there wasn't any air conditioning! It was quite warm.
