First off, remember this is just a bar, same old same ol. Or so I thought. Food was off the charts awesome. Perfect jalapeño burger, perfect onion rings, ice cold beer. Wife had western burger, ( which I gladly took a huge bite of), potato salad and ice cold beer. Potato salad you say? Yes and it was damn good. The best part $11 bucks for each meal not counting the beers. Total bill for the night was under $50. Counting a 25% tip. Place was clean, staff friendly. Best deal in town. Awesome place!! Eric did a marvelous job in remodeling both sides. One side is the bar and the restaurant. And the other side. Also, you can use is a restaurant/bar, but it is also the karaoke side! (Thurs, Fri,and Sat) This place is absolutely awesome! Friendly people. Friendly bartender. Great food. Good selection of beer and spirits! Can't say enough about this place. Ribs so tender you need a spoon to eat them. Is there really anything else I could possibly say...

To begin with, my 19 year old cat died and I didn't want to cook. I had called ahead and asked if the meat juicy and tender and she answered yes.. however, it was neither tender or juicy. There was a minimal amount of sauce on the ribs and even less on the chicken. One would think that a lil cup of sauce would be essential. MY HUSBAND DOES NOT WEAR HIS DENTURES. Listing says "family friendly" The "restaurant entrance" is dead bolted and closed and therefore any chance of "family dining" is zero. Not sure about the food, drinks and service because my family can't go in. However, since they are blatantly dishonest about something as simple as allowing children and are willing to waste potential customers time on such a frivolous issue, I'd take any other recommendations with a healthy grain of salt. The food is pretty good! The burger was a little too greasy for my liking though. Mozzarella sticks and Fries were also very good.

First time, great time, Friday night late. Maria at the bar sat me even though they had technically closed. And didn't tell me that until I was leaving and asked what time they close! Pretty cool. This place is like other bar/pub stops in Medford, better than what you may expect. Mac bites were filled with cheese and the dinner plate of pulled pork was worthy of any BBQ joint, except the homemade blackberry Chipotle sauce Eric makes himself elevates the meat to what you'd pay double for in a fancier restaurant. Eric and Maria couldn't have been nicer for two people looking to close up after this crazy week. Thank you both. Make sure you get out to try this menu and meet these nice people! Wasn't impressed. Bartender forgot about our order more than once. When it was brought to her attention, she made excuses saying she was busy dealing with issues. There were 2 tables and a few people at the bar. The guy that was running around busy, cooking, cleaning, listening to our complaints about the bartender, maybe the owner, got things done. food is great the improvements they have made recently to the bar are great. they are employing the worst bartender I've ever encountered. the burger was so good I withheld this review til my 3rd visit. Rude unfriendly snarky obviously not having any fun. Was so rude to me tonight I changed my mind on eating there. She knew she was out of line and gave a vailed apology with a story of a headache. Our first time here. The burgers were good. They were not smashed to get the juices out, yaaay, and the meat was a good quality. Good french fries, fried pickles and onion rings. The restaurant is on a busy corner but they must have thick windows because the traffic was not loud. There was no fooling around with a stack of napkins. They go straight to paper towels. I was in Medford for work on a Friday night, and wanted supper. I looked on Yelp at about 9:45 and realized that my options for a sit-down restaurant were very limited. I saw 2 places, but one was about five miles away, while Hemi & Hogs Bar and Grille was open until midnight, so I went there. I walk in and sit down at a table. Not the bar, not on a stool by the pool tables, but a table in the restaurant. After sitting for about 10 minutes being ignored, someone asks me if anyone has helped me, to which I respond in the negative. About 5 minutes later, someone comes up and asks me what I want. Bear in mind, the music is very loud, so we have to holler to be heard. I say "A menu, please!" She reaches for the pub grub list in the plastic display sitting on the display by the salt & pepper shakers. "Your Yelp page says that you serve barbecue! That is what I came for!" Turns out they are just a bar, not a bar & grille, because they stop serving BBQ after 9:30. I tell her that I came for food, not drink, and got up and walked out. Because I wasted my time here, it was too late to go to the other place that I had found, so I ended up going to Buffalo Wild Wings, which was the only restaurant left open in town. While I will be back in Medford for supper, I will not be back to this place. read more

Cool atmosphere and good bar food done well. Staff was friendly (thanks Monica!) and the double bubble shots were a fun twist that goes down smooth. We had the philly cheese steaks, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and fries and all were perfect. Rib plates are a steal at $12. We'll be back when the smokers ready! read more
