No wait to be seated around 8:45 Saturday night. Hostess was extremely friendly. Ordered a blackened chicken bowl special, Mac n cheese with Brussels sprouts and blackened fish tacos. I also selected a cup of NW clam chowder. The chowder arrived after a few and it was pretty good. The rest of the food took the entire first half of the World Cup match to emerge from the kitchen. Our server was apologetic, but it just was not crowded. I had a good view of the kitchen and the 2 guys back there were very relaxed, not hurried at all. The Mack cheese was not really Mac n cheese but more like buttered O'Dells with some cheese added later. Brussels sprouts were great. My tacos were not so good. The rice and beans were tasteless even though I loaded up on the cholula. Rice had some cheese slices mixed in. Somehow they failed to melt. The corn tortillas were 3.5" in diameter, which is really small for those of you who are dimensionally challenged. I had to deconstruct them and make 4 smaller tacos. The fish (tasteless) was not fried nor really blackened. The spouses bowl was completely unlike the photo on the table tent. The ingredients also differed, most significantly the lack of beans. The server was working hard, as he appeared to be alone in his pursuits, although there was another guy bussing tables. We only selected the Ram because it was open after 9pm and many places in Medford were not. We will not be returning, regardless of the time of night. read more

We found this spot traveling to Oregon and it is amazing food and if you have a dog sit on the patio and get excellent service and so do the dogs they have a cute little doggy menu as well. Very friendly. And the food is really good as well. Definitely will remember this spot and plan accordingly my next trip when we come out that way. Definitely worth visiting read more

Family wanted to go out for Happy Hour and our favorite is Ram. Family goes often so many of the staff know us by name. We were seated quickly even though it was busy. We like to sit in the bar area. I ordered a cocktail and the crispy cauliflower to start. Then ordered the Reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries. The food and cocktail was tasty. The location is great with plenty of parking. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and can accommodate big parties. We were a group of 15 and they had no problem seating us within 15 minutes of arrival. The drink was super strong! If your pallet is up to it, try the mixed drinks, but be warned that they are strong! Our server was super nice and friendly with everyone and even joked around with the little kids. The service was so horrible. We were looking forward to an amazing experience because it was happy hour Tuesday! The bar tender was less than par! She continued to whin the whole experience about her siatica flare up. I totally understand but you're at work! Why should I as a customer feel bad for you. Their burgers are great- I always get mine with an egg and grilled onions. Their pretzels are a little dry but still worth it. Their cookie skillet was great but had to wait awhile. Their pizza is also surprisingly tasty. One time I came like three times in a matter of two weeks because their burgers are so good. Great service and entrees @ RAM in Medford, OR. Jessica, our waitress, was friendly and accommodating. We were happy with our service throughout our time here and Jessica checked in with us periodically. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious with multiple big screen TVs. I appreciated that they had different kinds of shows playing, besides just sports, including one with short, funny clips of animals and people doing random things. We received our meals in a timely manner. They were good. I had a pretty basic Cobb salad and liked their honey mustard dressing, it was a cross between honey & Dijon. My brother enjoyed his medium T-Bone steak as well. It was a little loud for my liking though, and it wasn't due to patrons, but from their music blaring and maybe even from the huge TVs. Lots of stimulation happening. I'm glad we came in for an early dinner before they got too busy. read more

We had taken a break from the Ram as we were a little irritated our previous visit. Tonight we had excellent service and my meal was spot on. My husband's macaroni with SW beef looked promising until it arrived and looked and tasted like ground beef with taco packet seasoning. It sure wasn't "Southwest beef". It tasted alright but next time he will order the mac and cheese plain as this was lame. Again, we cashed out and the tip options were wonky. 25% to 18%. We now automatically do the math manually for 15% and walk away feeling played. I think we are done with the Ram. read more

I have dined here twice and been unfortunately disappointed in the burger I have ordered. Both times, they have been dry and over cooked. The bun is also dry. Conversely, their fried shrimp and chips are really good. My Spicy Pineapple Margarita was fantastic as well!!! I had a side caesar salad which was good. They make their own beer and have a lengthy mixed drink list with lots of variations of margaritas. Needless to say, I will be back here and I think if they work on making better quality burgers, this place would get an easy four stars. read more

Reviews were mixed for this restaurant but we'd never been before and I thought it was worth trying. There was no wait when we arrived at noon but my first stop was to the bathroom. I met another patron in there while checking for toilet tissue and cleanliness. It looked like it has not been serviced in a while and the other guest confirmed what I had feared. The entire room was out of toilet paper. Sadly, I had to use paper towel. I shared the information with the hostess, who did not apologize for the establishment but said, "ok". Not sure what happened on that front but we were not off to a good start. This would have been a 2 star review if not for our waiter and the food. He was on top of things, helpful, and checked in a few times. Also, the Bloody Mary didn't hurt. The food was a 3. Nothing memorable and met minimal expectations. They do not carry Worcestershire sauce and the beans were over cooked so I was slightly disappointed with my meal. The steak was cooked appropriately. My spouse enjoyed his salad. I might eat here again if I was in the area and nothing else "spoke to me", but there are a lot of other restaurants to try and life is short! read more

Just got back from our second time at RAM. My husband and I shared a French dip and it was honestly the worst we have ever had. Dry, dry, meat and overly salty jus. Our server never bothered to ask how our food was and seemed indifferent when he brought the bill and I told him it was a terrible sandwich. Last time we were there, I got nachos that were so dry they were inedible. I let the server know and he agreed that they were very dry and took them off our check. It's too bad because, we recently moved right down the street and we would like to be able to go watch games and have some good grub and drinks, and support this business, but I think we are done with RAM. read more

I just had a burger and garlic fries and a pint of beer. It wasn't anything special like "OMG " but it was good. There is something for everyone on the menu as well .... A good variety . Typical American food and atmosphere. Service has been good each time we go. The thing we order the most is the pizza and a salad. Other than the pizza, the food is like eating typical Sysco food. Nothing special. You could eat the same tasting, same quality food at Red Robin, Applebee's, Outback, etc. Not terrible, but not exciting. read more

Some of the worse food I have had in a long time. The Asian chicken salad was god awful, told the waiter at the end since we did not eat it and to take it off the fill, he refused. Charged extra for a substitute to broccoli , since he did not know if the apple sauce was unsweetened or not. He did not even check the package of applesauce so we could decide which side to get . The menu isn't too big which I appreciate. I had the tomato soup today and it was very good. If you like beer they seem to have a large selection. Service is always pretty prompt and friendly. It can get loud in there but the vibe is pretty low key. Good for groups or couples! read more

During a recent visit with my service dog (and yes, folks, she is a real service dog--trained by a professional--to be in public and detect and respond to a medical condition), the staff treatment was EXCEPTIONAL. We were welcomed in without any issue, and my dog went under the table as trained, and was not to be seen again until we left. After being seated, the customers in the booth next to us began to complain intensely and quite loudly so we could hear their dissatisfaction with allowing a service animal in the establishment. The host did an exceptional job explaining that it was the law to this unhappy couple, who continued to argue with her (mind you, the host was quite young and nobody deserves that for doing their job--but she held her ground, explaining that regular dogs are not able to come in to the restaurant). They eventually left, but not without telling the staff that I was some type of "...stupid, unintelligent person" for having a service animal. I have no idea how they got to that point, nor did we have any interaction with this couple. I wanted to call out the exceptional handling and service of Becky (the general manager) and her staff: they ensured I felt welcome, and handled these disgruntled and discriminatory customers as best they could. For a comfortable and chill sports/beer pub environment, I recommend this place based on their attempts to ensure their customers are comfortable--including those that are less abled than others. While I understand the desire to try new places, I strongly advise against visiting the Ram in Medford, Oregon. The beers are decent, if you're in the mood for that. My friend enjoys their Mac and cheese which I have yet to try.
