I want to give a BIG THANK YOU! To Jared for the service he gave, I really appreciate the hospitality he gave. He was accommodating and made sure we were taking care of. The appetizers were just bland bar food, nothing was a wow! Even though the descriptions on the menu sounded good but the flavors were not there. I suggest changing the cooking/preparation process, maybe actual prepare the food from scratch instead preparing food from a package. This is just my opinion you try it for yourself but if go make sure Jarred is there. read more

It's horrible to crowed to where you're getting shoved and pushed really hard , the music sucks and the drinks are water down they don't even do anything they just rip you off. Food: 5 stars...gah those garlic fried are amazing! They were battered and perfectly fried! Super garlicky and they don't skimp! Can't be kissing folks after having some though. It's not going to be pleasant for the receiving party. The mushroom Swiss burger was also awesome! Thick meat patty, cooked to a perfect medium well. And that bun tho! Soft like pillows! The Mac and Cheese balls were huge! Crunchy and yummy! Portions here are awesome! Service: 4 stars...very friendly server and food came out very quickly. However, there was only one server on a Wednesday at 330-450pm. She was also the bartender. It took a while to get our bill. So long that we went to the bar to ask for it. Came here for lunch. Slow on the inside. My local friend told me it got packed at night. I loved the interior. Having run bars before, I could see how great the design was and how open it is. I would come here to watch a game and listen to a band. But then I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. One of the worst ones that I've had. I'm particularly hard on pulled pork sandwiches because they're my favorite. The meat had no texture to it and the pork flavor was hidden behind whatever sauce they used. It tastes like the meat came out of a can. And it was much too wet. The bun didn't last five minutes and was a soggy mess. I wouldn't recommend this sandwich given free to a homeless person. The staff that took my order was great. Smiling and attentive and prompt. But please, if you love pork, STAY AWAY from the pork sandwich. Maybe try a burger or something instead. read more

Really good food, and we like the atmosphere. It took a bit of time for our food to arrive - 45mins for an appetizer and nachos, with only 4 other tables in the restaurant - but the server was a rock star, working the entire floor and bartending, so props to her. The garlic fries (a favorite) were the best we've had, virtually infused with garlic and served with ranch, and the nachos were wonderful, boasting super thick homemade chips and a delicious variety of toppings. My daughter and I were looking for a new restaurant to try for lunch during a Tuesday afternoon shopping trip, and we ended up at the Grape Street Bar and Grill. What a super restaurant! It's open and pleasant inside and we were greeted and seated right away. The menu was super appealing and we had trouble making a choice. I decided on the teriyaki chicken wrap, which was full juicy chicken, crunchy fresh cabbage, and a sweet and tart pineapple salsa in a spinach tortilla. My daughter had the French dip sandwich that she enjoyed very much. It came with crispy delicious French fries (I stole some from her plate). I'm not a fan of fries, but these were hard to pass up. The service was excellent, and we had a really nice time. Highly recommended! read more

Look at the bill, not even the register can do math right! 20% of $42.25 is $8.40. EXTREMELY ARROGANT manager told me that "no one has complained of the $14 salad" that was less than a side salad with no protein and not enough dressing to even finish the salad. No tomatoes on the club came with tomatoes, terrible just terrible!! Crooked establishment with no remorse for extreme prices and nothing to back it up. If you have hard earned dollars take them elsewhere. I have gone there for years, but never again! The crooked tip on the bill was the last straw. We ordered delivery through a standard delivery service. We were VERY disappointed in the lack of care or quality. Grape Street Bar and Grill stuffed our boxes into small bags with the containers sideways the long way instead of placing them flat on their bottom. My burger fell apart on top of my fries making them mushy, my son's fish and chips (same orientation) caused the tartar sauce to leak on the bottom causing the fries to do the same, and my fiance's salad was so mixed up that all the shrimp was on the bottom side with the dressing packet leaking. This poor quality and attention to detail (or even caring) is what will put restaurants out of business post COVID versus anything else. In this case I am good if Grape Street closes, obviously their owners and employees don't care enough to create an experience to keep their jobs. read more

Man, I was so excited for chicken tacos. Firstly, there's not nearly enough food for a meal. These dainty "street" style tacos are a couple bites worth and for the cost ($9.50 for two which is $4.75 per taco) it just makes me sad. I was still quite hungry. We ate here on a Wednesday night. There were 3 employees on shift, maybe 4 tables occupied when we walked in. They served us tacos with cheese well past its due date. Never returned to check on us after we notified about the rotten food on my plate. Service was slow on drinks, and we finished our fried by the time the food runner came back with ketchup. Turns out our food runner was working while also sitting and drinking at the bar. He never told our waitress that there was an issue with our food. We waited another ten minutes for the check, and paid full price. In the absence of any wait staff whatsoever, I eventually scraped the cheese off of my tacos and tried to eat around the bad parts. Hope I don't get sick. I was never offered a replacement or reimbursement on my meal. read more

Now ..... a couple of caveats.....we ate lunch there only once and it was very good. Exceptional? Mmmmm, maybe not quite. However, the menu fits us like a glove - far and away the most appealing one we've seen in Southern Oregon. The physical space, once occupied by what looked like a night-time dance business, is stunning. A large main floor with window seating, a balcony, and a patio out back. Someone has sunk a fair chunk of change in this place and I worry that it gets enough support. Definitely - give them a try! UPDATE as of August 2017. Pro: Shrimp "Po Boy" sandwich. Delightful battered shrimp with remoulade and slaw. Cons: We had stuck our heads in 2 Wednesdays in succession only to be overpowered by the stench of what smelled like Pine-Sol. We complained each time before we left. Our last trip was on a Thursday and, while still lingering, the odor was bearable. read more

I work in food service, so I ordered take-out around 7pm one Fri evening in early April on my way home. The Grilled Avocado was fabulous! The Fish Tacos were underwhelming. Me and 6 of my girlfriends had a nice time here on a Thursday night. Service was, eh, average. I was the only one not drinking alcohol but I felt like my cup was always empty. I had the French Dip which was the best I've had in Medford so that's why I have them 4 stars. My friends raved about the shrimp tacos too At 8pm these two guys started playing guitar and singing. It was fine but they started waaay too loud for only 10 other people being in the place. It was hard to hear our conversation and we were the farthest from them. We have been wanting to try this place for a while now. We've heard mixed reviews so we decided we would find out for ourselves. We had reservations for a party of 5 last night (Friday). In our party we ordered some wine, beer, burgers, French dip and chicken fingers. It was all good and most of the orders were done correctly. However, it took over an hour to get our food. There were parties who came after us who got their food first. Even though it took a long time we enjoyed each other's company and chatted while we waited. One thing i really liked about this place is how reasonable the prices were! We will definitely be giving this place another try in the future. Updates: tried to have dinner here last night with my 16 year old. We sat down and was told you had to be 21 to sit in that area. The only area where kids could sit was reserved for a group so we had to leave. They should not say they are family friendly when they don't allow space for them. The people and service were great but based on other reviews I was expecting more from the food and atmosphere. I had the fish and chips (I substituted the fries with sweet potato fries) and a small house salad. The bear battered fish was over cooked. Instead of a golden color it was a dark brown and hard. Had some time to kill before game night, so I swung by for dinner- handy how it's practically across the street from where everyone's meeting. I was surprised how quiet it was inside- sure there's music in the background & people talking at the outer tables, but it's still pretty stark inside. Staff was certainly friendly, however, which helped make up for the 'ghost town' appeal. Only thing I wish there was more of were shorter tables & chairs- not everyone wants to lose feeling in their legs. I got a Wyder's pear cider (always tasty) & the "San Fransiscan" burger- topped with grilled red peppers, avocado & provolone cheese. Not too shabby- got a nice char on the burger, the pepper was a nice touch of tart & chew... & the fries were great. Only downside to the meal was it was under-seasoned. Overall, this meal- plus tip- came to about $19 & I'd encourage coming in with a group- might turn out better that way. read more

Food was ok. Service was slow both times I've tried it, once for dinner and once for lunch. It was happy hour and they offered $2 off for certain drinks. Eh, ok I guess. But they charged us $2 extra EACH for sweet potato fries with no heads up. It doesn't say it on the menu and the waitress didn't mention it when we ordered it. When we said something when we got our check, they took $2 off, but not for each of us. I know it's only $2, but if you have a lot of people in your party, it makes a difference. Don't think I'll go back. Food isn't spectacular enough to be worth the crappy service. Said fries were really good...fish was over cooked and chewy.
