    The Point Cod Po' Boy

So wrong.. Been a regular for a few years.... So when ordered my Po cod Sammy, opened up the container and saw this, I was so disappointed. I promptly called, was greeted respectfully but told nothing can be done until manager gets back.. Upon hearing this, I called their other location in Central point, hoping to speak with a manager. I was informed no manager until later but, upon hearing my plight, Kimberley immediately wanted to make me a new one free of charge. What a difference!! See p

In the town for the evening as we are traveling to SOCAL from WA, checked into our hotel and ventured out to find a place that had vegan dishes on their menu. Used YELP to find this establishment. This cool pub is located in a small strip mall. We walked in and it was abuzz with customers! The menu is vast and it has a nice vegan section. We both ordered the "patty melt" with fries and two beers from the tap list. Our waitress was very friendly and easy to talk to, she made the recommendation to select the fries. The fries are battered and crisp.,,, delicious. The patty melt came on marbled rye bread, with sweet bbq sauce, vegan melted cheese and jalapeños. The burger was flavorful. The entire meal was wonderful. This was a good find evidenced by the crowd of locals dining. Definitely will return!

Great little find during an overnight stop in Medford. It was really close to our hotel, and several others. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a cozy little restaurant inside with a lot of cool pictures from the early 1900s. I wish I would have taken pictures of the decor but it was a long day of driving and I didn't think about it. All the food was really good. My husband had a French dip, my daughter got a cheeseburger, and I went with the chicken quesadilla. The avocado didn't work for me but being a California girl, I get it. My daughter's French fries were the absolute best restaurant fries I've had in a loooong time. My husband enjoyed a local beer and I went with my standard white Russian, which was nice and strong. They had a really interesting cocktail menu, but I wasn't feeling adventurous there. As for service, outstanding. Our server was so friendly, attentive, and helpful with all of our questions and requests. We'll definitely keep this place in mind for future road trips now that we will be driving though from time to time! I tried to add more pictures but they don't seem to be uploading ‍

Great local pub with family service and atmosphere. Had the Reuben and Fish tacos. Delish. Some nice local brews. Definitely stop by.

    Great times @ The Point.

A girl walks into a pub... This had to of been one of the oddest experiences I've had with dining in a while. The layout of the restaurant is rather odd. You walk in can you literally are walking through the dining area. There's no rhyme or reason as to whether or not you should see yourself, or wait for someone to see you. Once you are seated, let the games begin... Literally and figuratively. They have numerous TVs all over the place, and this definitely is a locals hang out for grabbing food, drinks, hanging out with friends, and watching, whatever sports is currently on the TVs. Service was less than favorable, and in fact, it was nonexistent. When there was service, Joe our waiter had that TV show sitcom vibe of "no soup for you ". He wasn't just rude to us, he was rude to the other customers sitting at other tables near us. It's just not an experience that anyone wants to have wall dining. We both ended up ordering what clearly could be an artery blocker, but came highly recommended from the friendly people sitting at the table next to us, was the pulled pork with mac & cheese sandwich. Definitely not anything that I would ever order, but they raved about it so much we gave into peer pressure. The sandwich was interesting, but, like I said, definitely not my style or anything that I would ever order. I ended up picking my sandwich apart and eating the meat. The mac & cheese was so so, and despite being told that it really added to the flavor of the sandwich, it didn't do much for me. We both opted to order fries for one of us and onion rings for the other, so that we could share. The onion rings were pretty tasty, as were the fries. If service had been better or existent, I may have opted to increase the overall rating. This is supposed to be one of the better local spots in the area to dine at. Diners tip: aside from not sitting in Joe's section, they offer a lot of vegan options, and have an entire vegan section on the menu.

Egg yolks completely cooked through on the Eggs Benedict

Service was fine but the food was unfortunately terrible, even for bar food. What we did end up eating, we ate only because we were very hungry. The food took ages to arrive, 45 minutes for a children's scramble and almost 30 for some burnt waffles. $10 for bone dry & burnt mini waffles. The yolks on the Eggs Benedict were completely cooked through instead of poached. Also, the English muffins on the Eggs Benedict weren't even toasted. Almost everyone in our party had a portion of their order wrong. If you're looking for a quality brunch, choose elsewhere.

Interior. Shows the 3 TVs with sports on.

Wow the chef at this place is amazing!! We went two nights in a row and both sets of meals were so good and seasoned perfectly. Night one we had Philly cheese steaks - lots of meat, soft bun and cheese sauce yum!! Very authentic. Night two I had a pulled pork sandwich with fries and husband had the fish and chips (he says it would be easier to eat the fish and chips on a plate so U can cut the fish). The pulled pork was so good with a sweet tangy BBQ sauce I am used to in Texas. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was casual and relaxed. Lots of TVs showing sports. The first night we were there they had an Astros game on.

We started with the deep-fried pickles, which were a letdown. They tasted like basic bottled pickle slices lightly dipped in flour with minimal seasoning--nothing special. Dinner didn't improve much. The menu items sound really appealing, but once they arrived, the flavors were bland. We ordered the Irish stew, and the meat was very tough. Tried cutting it in really small pieces so I could chew it, but it wasn't worth the effort. Had a few pieces with gristle and fat. I ended up picking the meat out and just eating the carrots and potatoes. We also tried the famous meatloaf, which was the highlight of the meal. I enjoyed it, though the portion could have been a bit larger. The gravy was tasty, and it came with peas and mashed potatoes. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were great, the dishes lacked flavor and felt overpriced for what was served.

It was delicious! Fresh salmon, tangy coating and earthy, buttery asparagus. The Yukon gold mashed potatoes were crispy, salty and savory- great starch addition to the meal. What I remember most is how nice the place looked -- it has a fun mix of modern and rustic decor and very clean restrooms! My husband and I ordered the shareable mac and cheese along with two entrees, the Green Goddess salad and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with tater tots. The portion sizes were very generous. I appreciated that they gave us two small plates to split the mac and cheese, and by the time we got to our entrees, we were already getting a little full! For the salad, I really appreciated how well-seasoned and prepared the tofu was. The tofu had a nice light, crisp coating and was flavorful, and the salad had a nice mix of crunchy cucumbers and lettuce mixed with sliced grape tomatos, feta, and red onions. The salad was not over-dressed and made it easy to take home leftovers. My husband also enjoyed his sandwich, being the second time he has ordered it. The chicken is crispy and well-seasoned. I especially liked the tater tots -- no greasiness and just the right amount of salt. Our waitress was super sweet and kind checking up on us as well. Highly recommend and definitely a place I would come back to on our annual Medford family visits!
