I'm a 77 year old grandmother and my 2008 Mini Cooper broke down on me in the middle of a back road. I was panicking and didn't know who to call. Their number was given to me. They were quick to respond and treated me with so much kindness, it put me at ease right away. I was impressed that they were able to diagnose the problem right away on a foreign automobile and getting the proper parts was no issue for them. they could have easily taken advantage of me, but they didn't! They narrowed down the problem, but I was only passing through & they couldn't find it & fix it quickly, so they told me what I needed to do to keep driving safely to my destination so I could get it taken care when I finished my trip. The tests they did were similar to what my personal mechanic told me (over the phone) they should do. And they didn't try to add on extra items or work. The only negative would be that they didn't contact me when the work was done and I had to call in to find out if it was ready. But it turns out that they were somewhat overworked that day. They were really nice people.

Another day later i get the car back to find out the exact same problem has not been fixed. A friend then told me to take it to Orielly Auto parts store and they will test the battery for free . Went there and sure enough it was the battery, so rather than go back and give Walden any more of my money, I replaced the battery at Oreilly that they put in for free! Should have gone there first. Walden clearly saw me as a new customer and was going to get what they could out of it. Double check or stay away is all I can say.

Owner was condescending and rude pretty much from the start blaming the insurance companies for undercutting his prices and that they were trying to make a killing from all the claims coming in from the hail damage storm. In the end he still got $250 from me (insurance reimbursed) for doing the estimate. I don't ever recall being charged for estimates before and after the discussions with the owner it seems he is the one trying gouge people for more money. I told him my comp deductible is $100 and that is all I'll be paying. Luckily Caliber Collison works with insurance companies and has a better reputation. DO NOT GO HERE.

I took my car and have my brakes , looked at I was not having any problems with them , no squeaking…read more, no rubbing , nothing I was just trying to be proactive , the mechanic came out and said you need to change the back pads and rotors. I asked about the rotors because I said there has been no issue with the brakes.Well, we just replaced the rotors.When we replaced the brake shoes. I took the car to another mechanic who took the tire off and told me my rotors , look like brand new and there was no reason whatsoever to replace those this really upset me because I had been a long time customer and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I guess this is why it's always important to get a second opinion
