I'm really disappointed in our experience. A group of 6 of us came together, and getting set up was…read morefine, but then there were technical difficulties galore during the actual VR time. We had to pause our simulation 6 separate times because the gear was falling off, the sound was too loud or too quiet, everything was echoing, the weapons weren't working, etc. Calling for assistance took a good 30 seconds for a staff member to come; it was clear that none of them was nearby to help or monitoring our simulation because we had to scream it multiple times before they would do anything. Two of my teammates couldn't be heard on the headset and another was so loud it was painful to my ears, so the microphones were apparently all different, which made communicating frustrating when it seemed like half our team wasn't contributing when they actually were. My weapon only worked about 1/3 the time--no noise or vibration or virtual response--so I kept dying because it wasn't recognizing I was fighting back. Another teammate mentioned she had a similar issue where the weapon only worked half the time and only in one direction. I mentioned my weapon issue three times during moments when the game was paused because another person on my team needed help, and not once did any staff member acknowledge my issue or attempt to resolve it. Twice my hand was still raised for help when the simulation resumed. I also periodically kept getting a message that I was disconnected, and the staff told me it was because I was too close to the edge, despite the edge being a good five steps away inside the simulation. When I mentioned that they're like "no it's right next to you, don't get too close to it." It didn't look like I was close at all, so apparently the calibration was off and they didn't do anything to fix it, which you can imagine doesn't bode well inside the simulation. We all noted afterward how we could hear the other teams in other rooms better than we could hear our own simulation or each other, so my advice to the management is to add some sort of soundproofing in each room so the sound doesn't carry as much between rooms. Overall, the mediocre experience was not at all worth the price, so I would not recommend this place because of that. We spent more time paused to troubleshoot issues and fiddle with the gear than we actually spent inside the game, and the constant pausing due to issues really pulled us out of the momentum of the story.

I'm from Cincinnati area but was visiting family in Dayton in July and me and my cousin decided to…read morego here. It was a different atmosphere than Cincinnati and Kentucky rinks. It was cool though, more outgoing, more laid back. There was a lot of people doing dance skating and jumps. One annoying thing I noticed, There were groups of people that would be in the middle of the rink, not in the center area but right smack in the middle of where everybody is skating, and they would be doing a dance in one spot where everybody was trying to skate. That was kind of annoying and that would never fly in Cincinnati rinks! If you weren't careful you might plow right into them. And if you are skating they won't move out of your way, you're expected to go around them! It would be ok if they went into the center circle but they don't, they are out where everybody is skating. I was told by an experienced skater that this is "Dayton style skating" and every city has a different style of skating. The other thing that I didn't like was that there are no refills on water, even if you reuse the same cup! I asked the owner about this because I drink a lot of water and my rink in Cincinnati gives free refills as long as you use the same cup, but he said he couldn't do that. So if you drink water plan on paying for each refill! The rink floor is very slick as well, you can tell because of how shiny it is. A few times I felt my skates sliding sideways when going around curves. I ended up falling here and I hadn't fell in a long time. I fell right on my tailbone hard and it's been 4 weeks now and I'm still having pain. Either cracked or bruised my tailbone. So take precaution and maybe slow your wheels if you come here. I loved the music they played which is mostly hip hop and R&B and the atmosphere was very cool and different than what I'm used to. Three guys were doing jump after jump after jump and I asked them if I could record them and they happily let me. Everybody was very friendly. The owner seemed like a nice guy. I loved the light show and they kept the lights off most of the time so you can appreciate the lights and I think there are black lights too. I can't rate the food because all I got was water. Overall I would come back here if I was in the area again.

We recently had my daughter's birthday party at Orbit Fun Center. It's a great place to take a…read morelarge group of 5 and 6 year olds because even if they can't skate Orbit has video games and a bounce house. We had 10 children and it ended up costing right around 100 dollars. This was including pizza,bounce house,party area and skate rental. The only two negatives are that they only offer pepperoni pizza,so if you have picky eaters they are kind of out of luck. Also,the later it got the harder it was for the little kids to skate safely. There were lots of (well behaved) middle and high school kids going too fast for beginning skaters.

My wife and I usually go here once every 2 years as we try to rotate between Carowinds and King's…read moreDominion and Cedar Point and King's Island. My experience of this park keeps on getting better and we ended up this time going on the busiest days like Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I went one day on a Thursday, but that is when we landed. We usually tend to get here an hour and 15 minutes early as they open the gates right at 9:00am. I recommend going to the not self serve parking as for some reason my phone did not scan to open the gate and it is easier for the person to scan the phone. If you are having trouble someone will come and scan for you. For Gold and Prestige members we got to into the park 30 minutes early and they opened up Diamondback, the updated Phantom Theatre and Great Pumpkin Coaster. If you have a regular ticket, you can explore the shops or wait at your favorite ride. I like the Peanuts characters are in one showplace too so you can go visit them. Here are the places I ate at as I have the meal pass: 1. Sports Bar - sit down place, food takes awhile to get, but you are relaxing at a table, while they come and give you your food. This place gets crowded 2. Mexican Place - not too bad, guacamole is extra however 3. Paris French - had the shrimp sandwich, but the chips were salty, bread has on the hard side 4. BBQ - I did not try it, but the meat looked really dry 5. Tom Chee - this place is good, but only if you like greasy sandwiches. Very filling for sure I recommend getting the blue ice cream and the red soda only available on selection locations. I tend to have at least one cup and ice cream per visit I did not buy too much merchandise this time around, but I like the Snoopy Store to visit. Shows For some reason, they do not do any Peanuts shows anymore. We watched Brad Ross, illusionist and he was fun to watch and a 50 minute show. We watched his show 4 times, but sometimes it was a way to escape the heat and take a nap and figure out how he did some of the tricks. Seating is comfortable. They do have live entertainment like dancers or singers in some areas. They do have the wine festival, but we did not buy a card since we have a meal plan. Rides (I rode the following) and here are my thoughts this time around as they might be different since the last review 1. Banshee - gotton rougher over the years and the vest restraints got tighter on me 2. Drop Zone - this ride worked on the last 2 days, show operations, but recommend to ride once 3. Congo Falls - sometimes this operates on certain days, but fun to get soaked 4. Bat - an okay ride, only ride it if the line is short 5. White Water Canyon - you will get soaked by the geyers, this ride opens from 12 to 9pm 6. Charlie Brown Rushing River - Fun log ride, line moves slow, I wish they would open both lanes. 7. Snoopy Soap Box Racers - fun kids ride 8. Woodstock Twirly Birds Ride - I always have fun being in the helicopter, ride is too short though 9. Mystic Timbers - fun wooden ride, lines are not long on this one 10. Diamondback - this line tends to get long for some reason and can be longer than Orion 11. the Beast - we like doing a day time ride which line is very short and night time ride line gets long. They do shut the ride down at 9:30pm for the fireworks show and reopen at 10:20pm. My wife and I sometimes do not get out of the park until 11:30pm. Night ride is definitely worth it. The ride has definitely gotton smoother 12. Orion - definitely one of my favorite rides - I wish they had more shade on the line queue, but lines do move quickly 13. Red Racer/Blue Racer - I prefer the red racer more smoother compared to the blue 14. Windseeker - slow operations on this one, but the line is not long, but a great view of the park 15. Adventure Express - pretty neat ride for visual, but rough riding it 16. Woodstock Air Flyers - this ride tends to get longer, but I find it a little on a shaky side 17. Antique Cars - we like going on this ride. Line might look long, but it ends up being around 20 minutes Rides I did not go on this trip but wanted to Flight of Fear - some reason this line got the longest and I do not know why, but definitely not worth waiting for 40 minutes. I think I rode this ride a bunch when it was raining and all of the other rides were closed. Overall a great time and have a fun time at this park.
