I only assume this since they seem to be popping up just about everywhere. Especially if their competitor is up the road, or across the street, or just right next door. Anyway, I digress. It had been ages since I had replaced my rear wiper blade and with it being a rainy day I decided I was tired of looking out the back and seeing a blotchy transparent image. Knowing that it is nearly impossible to find my wiper blade at local big box retailers I decided to give this a try. I normally have to buy it online and wait for it to be delivered. However this was a lucky day. They carried the exact one I needed and it was actually the same price as it was online, so I wasn't out any money. I looked a bit comical in the parking lot fighting with my wiper to replace the blade, but after that, I had a clear sight out the back of my car.

A young man named Andy came out and checked it and decided to clean the corrosion off of it. He spent at least 20 minutes in the rain cleaning it and then he said it would be fine. He was so polite and mannerly. I have always had good experiences with the employees at Auto Zone! I trust that they will not advantage of me just because I am a woman.

When we saw the coolant warning light come on when we were still a couple hours away from our destinations and it was 8 PM we panicked. We called the dealer and found out that the best thing to do was to top up the coolant until the next day when we could take the car in to the shop. Since we were pulled over at a rest area we weren't sure where to find coolant. We called AAA and after a long time on hold we were told that they don't carry coolant with them and they would need to tow us to the closest service shop. By then we were really panicking! I pulled up yelp and found this advanced auto parts and they were closing in 15 minutes. Since we were only a five minute drive away we took the chance with our coolant leaking and got to the store. The manager was super nice and got us what we needed and came over to the car and did a quick assessment and helped us top up. He helped us realize that it wasn't actually leaking so we felt safe to continue our drive until we were able to go to the dealer the next day! I give him all the right info. Except I said I have drums, when I have pads. Now that's my fault. But that's not why I'm giving 1 star. I'm giving one star because of how absolutely rude the person was that I was giving my information to. I didn't even get to telling him the part I needed before this dude started rolling his eyes. Now what I type may not seem rude. But it was all in how this guy was saying it. And I'm not a sensitive guy. I'm around rude people for a living. But the amount of crap this guy was giving me was ridiculous. I said the "It goes to the metal brake line that runs by the engine" his exact words were " I don't know what you're talking about, the line running to the engine doesn't make any sense and I'm showing exactly what you need here." I said "that's not it. It has a female end and a male end to screw into the caliper and metal brake line. His final words were as he rolled his eyes and sighed and huffed and puffed. Is "Idk what to tell you, this is what you need." Let's not to forget to mention I showed him a video of the part. Which he didn't even want to look at. So whatever I buy the part that clearly isn't it. And I go to advanced Auto in Irwin. I explain it the exact same way. She says "If that's the part you have brake pads." Here this is the part you need. She was knowledgeable and kind. She took back the part that the baffoon gave me. And I successfully put on my own line. Bled them too. Idk what this dudes problem was that he has to act all macho. But I can guarantee he will use that attitude again and I bet you the next person won't have self control and might lay the guy on the floor. So do you yourself a favor. Go the Advanced Auto in Irwin. The staff is more knowledgeable and professional.

I took it to Peretic's auto repair because they were located within walking distance and I wanted to give them a try as a new business. I left the car and received a call a couple of hours later telling me that it needed a new pump, they had the part in stock, and the cost was $125. I made the mistake of telling them that my car was under extended warranty but there was a hundred dollar co pay to take it to the dealer for any repairs under warranty. My husband questioned their assertion that they had the part in stock as pretty much unlikely. He called Autozone and they said they had one pump for my model/year in stock for $15. We looked at some Youtube videos and saw that it was a simple job and decided to just cancel the job. When I went went to the shop to tell them that we were cancelling they tried to charge me $65.00 for loiking at it. I expressed my dissatisfaction with them vocally telling them that I was being taken advantage of and that I would be letting others know about my experience. The owner then said that they would "waive" the fee and that he could clean out the clogged pump and put it back in, which he did at no cost. It is functioning perfectly now. I believe, based on the unlikihood of them having that particular part available that he intended to do just what he did and charge $125. I do not recommend them based on my experience.
