My reason for coming here today was two-fold. 1) To buy a new helmet (which I found, one I liked, and in my size, that wasn't too expensive), and 2) to test ride a new Triumph Scrambler 400 XC during their Demo Days. I had fun riding the bike, and I even received a free gift, a little Triumph tool kit. Lyndsay in parts was excellent, and she even gave me a Veteran Discount when purchasing my new helmet. They had sooooooo many motorcycles, ATVs, and watercraft to see. Wowza . . . this place is a destination and was worth driving in from an hour away . . . Cheers!!!

I have been taking atvs here for about 4 years now. The service department is great. they do a great job and it is usually a very speedy turnaround time. They always seem to tell you if there are additional problems and what to do about them. There are not alot of accessories in the store. They have some for both atvs and motorcycles but not alot. Finally, sales is a bit questionable. My husband tried to purchase an atv here and they said they didn't have it. They made no suggestion to get one or order one. Very strange. I also tried to order him tires and received no return phone call for price. I love to support the family owned businesses in Pgh and will continue to use them for service and my atv needs.

Upon inspecting the mower after the repair I noticed the fuel tank (6 gallons) was emptied. I called and spoke with Roger (service manager) who swore no one emptied my fuel tank but then agreed to fill a gas can if I brought it to Carns Equipment. I would not do business with Carns Equipment again. I wonder how many other customers are getting there gas stolen when bringing their mower or ATV in to be serviced.

The day it was inspected my brake light a flashing light in it and they passed it. Now they passed ever since, now this year they did pass it because they said my turn signals wouldn't pass and charged me for the inspection. Now today I took it back for the turn signals after putting new ones on now the say the brake light is illegal and that my front brake lever isn't working the brake light which was ok two weeks ago and charged me for another inspection and said it wouldn't pass again because of the front brake lever. I'm guessing the only way to be treated correctly is if you buy a 40,000 solar Harley instead of a used bike. DONT PURCHASE A BIKE IF YOU DONT WANT RIPPED OFF EVERY YEAR .
