Unfortunately, their post-install customer support and business ethics are nonexistent. I referred a friend who completed their installation months ago. I was explicitly promised a $500 referral bonus for this. After months of waiting, I tried following up multiple times privately to give them a chance to make it right, but I am now being completely ignored. It's a shame because I have several neighbors here in Fountain Valley who are currently shopping around for solar and battery storage. I was planning to refer them here, but I cannot recommend a company that fails to honor its own written agreements and ducks communication. Although they installed my 240 volt outlet adjacent to my electrical panel as I preferred, I learned that it would have been the same price for a very long wiring run which would make it an even better value because it affords the flexibility of locating the outlet at the most convenient location for anyone. Their installation team was very friendly and did the job professionally. My project manager also applied for the 3CE rebates on my behalf, and that brought the total cost down to $250. In checking up on the status of my rebate applications, the 3CE agent confirmed that their funding for rebates is unaffected by the current federal government's pulling back of existing approved and funded programs, as well as closure of offices and various government services that provide support. All's good!

We were also told AFTER contract signing and paying a deposit that we would have to spend an additional 40k on getting our roof replaced as their solar tiles would not be able to be installed on our roof. This was never mentioned during the sales process or in the proposal. I tried to follow up several times and ask questions about why no one communicated this to us and never received a response from a single person, except some random lady whom we had never spoken to before who informed us that we wouldn't get our refund back due to their policy. Horrible customer service, not at all upfront about their process, and poor communication to say the least. Would give zero stars if I could.

This has been an unnecessarily difficult process. Communication has been non-existent. I have…read morebeen handed off to various people every time I called trying to get information. They do a lot via text, which I liked, but it turned out not at all useful. I would text for updates, and hear nothing back. I would call to find out my contact was out of the office, on vacation, or any number of excuses. This went on for many weeks. I did not know the date for installation until a delivery of equipment showed up at my house unannounced. It was a good thing I happened to be home that day! I thought the installation itself had gone well. They installed the system in two days and everything looked great. Then, I had to wait for the meter collar to be installed. I was told it was going to be performed by their technician. Turns out it has to be done by SCE and that had not been scheduled. After I called again, SCE was finally notified. SCE arrived several days later to discover the cables were too short to install the meter. Now I have wait again for OC solar to come out again and fix this issue and wait again for SCE to finally install the meter so that I can use my new system. I hope the system works.
