Today is September 27th 2018 I visited Henderson doors in Baytown to purchase another garage remote.  In the past, everyone at HD has been really nice and courteous. Today--not so much.  There was a gentleman named Jonathan at the front desk. When I walked in, he did not greet me. He look at me as if I was bothering him.  He didnt evwn ask, "may I help you " So,  I told him I need a garage remote like the one I had in my hand.   He sat there and just looked at it for a couple seconds, then he got up.  I asked him what was the cost of the remote.  He said $40 .  I thought that was a little bit much so I asked him if that was the normal price.  I purchased one prior and it was only $25.   I also asked him if I could get anywhere else for a lesser price.  Jonathan  stared at me blankly as if I were speaking a foreign language.  He looked at me as if I were bothering him again.   Johnathan told me "yeah, you could probably purchase one for a cheaper price a place who doesnt need the money, like Amazon, but we are a small businees who needs the money to stay open  so...."    in my opinion, just because you are a small business doesn't mean you have to charge outrageoua prices. That doesn't make sense; however, I purchased the remote, but I'm not a satisfied customer because Jonathan had a nasty "I reallt dont want your business attitude " I asked  him his name that's why I have his name.   Henderson doors , you need to get a better someone else to represent you in your front counter other than someone that looks at people as if they are a nuisance.  I'd rather not  give my money to a sour face who doesnt want it. Very disappointing.  Ps.  There was a lady sitting at a desk next to him.  She helped me about 2 years ago, but she didnt lift her head to acknowledge my presence or anything.   She continued working on her computer.  So, if you're not busy you don't have to wonder why.  I'm telling you why. read more

Better than expected! I at first tried a big box store; however, when I was not able to get any help, nor a response to a home visit, I decided to contact two garage door businesses, one being Henderson. The reason we included Henderson was because our son in League City and a friend in Seabrook recommended them. After meeting with Johnathon Henderson, I understood why they were recommended; he answered all my questions - why belt versus chain drive, why DC versus AC motor, etcetera - and was not at all pushy. I made my decisions right then and there. Less than a week later the removal of my old doors and installation of the beautiful new ones was complete. I really appreciate the detail to workmanship, total cleanup, and making sure I was totally satisfied before leaving. We went from banging and slipping-off-the-track doors to ones that are so quiet, you have to look to be sure it is actually moving. This is the second visit from Dirk with Henderson Garage Doors. The first was to replace a broken spring. This visit was to readjust the limits. Our opener is old but that didn't matter. Dirk is knowledgeable and efficient not to mention very friendly. The price was very reasonable. Always nice to find a company that is honest and reasonable. read more

I was searching for a reputable company to replace our garage door quickly, as the old one broke and was in need of replacement. Another company, who couldn't fit me in, recommended Henderson's. I called them Wednesday night and left a message. First thing Thursday morning John called me back. Around 11:00 am that morning, Ricky arrived to replace the door. He was courteous and did a great job, and the price was reasonable as well. The old springs were stretched and wore out causing the garage doors to fall back down after opening. Looked for a reputable garage door company I could trust with no luck. Looked on Aggies list and found Henderson Garage Doors listed in Baytown with great Reviews. I called them and scheduled a service call to replace the old system with a new system. Derek and Daniel were timely, extremely courteous, very friendly and professional. These guys know their business and did an amazing job on my garage doors, complete clean up and they made sure I was completely satisfied with the workmanship before leaving. I am extremely pleased with the quality of work and the price! It's a great feeling to know we can open the garage doors without having to be concerned about them falling back down and possibly causing injury to someone. The spring broke on my garage door around noon a couple of days ago. My Wife's car was stuck in the garage and we needed to get it out. Searched the phone book, called a few places who couldn't/wouldn't make time and landed on Henderson. Spoke with Johnny on the phone, he gave me an exact dollar figure with the understanding that additional unknown issues could require more money but everything would be discussed before work is performed. Best of all, he said he would have someone out by 3pm! Derek showed up promptly, got right to work and did a very thorough job! He did identify a few things that needed repairs and recommended a few others. He did not bat an eye when I declined any extras and/or recommendations! TERRIBLE customer service. They had an appointment to be at my house to fix my garage door. The repair man shows up at 4:37 pm and tells me "yes, it needs to be replaced. I have the new motor but it's 5:00 and I am off." I immediately tried to call Mr. Henderson since the business closes at 5:00 (it was exactly 4:45 pm) and there was no answer. The repair guy said he had trying calling and he did not get an answer either. If that is how he treats his customers I much prefer to give my business to a reputable person. I got it fixed for $115.00. Henderson's was going to charge me 300.00 plus. read more
