I came in for a windshield replacement and waited approximately 2 hours. Job completed 1 3/4 hrs. Lobby could be more comfortable for waiting but it was sufficed. It looked like they were remodeling. Staff was brief but friendly. I would return in the future. I have used Henderson Glass before in Novi. Four stars because the installers left small prices of black stuff in my truck and my window slightly opened. Maybe to vent out the glue smell? When told they only do stone chip repairs only take around 30 minutes but are done around other jobs I requested an appointment early in the day or late in the day as I had to be at work. They made an 8 am appointment, actually arrived before they opened. After checking in sat there 30 minutes, car never moved. I had an appointment is Southfield at 9:30 am, when I complained they offered me my keys, saying they were doing it around other jobs---even though I had the first appointment in the morning? They didn't even try to keep my business. read more

Normally don't write reviews but...Took my wife's van to them for a windshield replacement, 2018 Pacifica. There is a mounting bracket for a battery relay switch mounted on the cowl with two bolts. They called and told me it would need to be removed to perform the repair but they couldn't guarantee that they would put it back correctly and wanted to know if I still wanted them to replace the windshield. Of course, if they are that incompetent that they can't remove and replace two simple bolts I certainly don't want them performing ANY repairs on my vehicle. This place needs to get rid of the two women behind the counter. Rude doesn't even come close to describing it. Then they need to make sure "the guys" don't book out the door early so you cannot get your work done during business hours. Apparently if it gets slow the help just leaves. Been there twice on the same insurance repair of our windshield. Rude both times. No one to do the work both times. This last time we called our agent from the parking lot, told him the problem and got another referral. Drove down the road and had the repair done on the spot. Terrible service Henderson! read more

After the third windshield replacement in 9 months, I hope I don't have to go back any time soon. The staff was very helpful with the insurance end of the process, scheduled the replacement within a couple of days, and had the truck in there shop within minutes of the scheduled appointment. The installation took an hour (as expected). If I need another windshield, I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Keep up the good work! read more

Went to have a chip repair, less then 1/2 inch ding. 2 ladies behind the counter told me that it could not be repaired and that I need a full windshield replacement. They did not even stand up from their chairs to look at it through the window, much less actually come out to look at it. I was very surprised as I have had small chips just like it repaired a few times on previous cars. I got the distinct impression they were trying to up sell me unneeded service. I went down the street and had it repaired elsewhere where they said there was no reason it couldn't be repaired and it looks great. Later a friend who has family in the business confirmed that the up sell to an unnecessary full windshield replacement is one thing Hendersons is know for. Avoid this place. read more

First and last time I'll use this business. 15 "Business Days" to get my simple glass tabletop -- and only after their corporate office interceded on my behalf. I've often called businesses that operate this way Black Holes. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T SEEM TO BE THEIR STRONG SUIT. RUDE. Helpful hints for future customers up for the challenge: 1) Document your order date and the price quoted. 2) There is a $20 coupon online if you place an order for $50 or more (https://www.hendersonglass.com/specials/promotions) 3) Make sure you mention the coupon when you place your order and then double-check the math on your balance due at pickup. When I arrived to pick up my order, the neatly typed invoice that was pulled from their file cabinet showed me owing $20 more than they quoted when including the coupon. (I was asked right then if I had mentioned the coupon when I placed the order. I have there 2 times in the past year. Once for a chip repair and then for a windshield replacement. Thanks Michigan roads! Both times were a good experience. It was slow there so I was pretty much only customer. My visits were handled promptly and repairs done well. After the replacement my windshield squeaked over bumps for about a week. That was during the really cold spell so I think it took longer for the seal to cure. But squeaking is gone. I recommend them for similar work. read more
