I was extremely happy since my Buggy was having diarrhea and I wasn't looking forward to another night of interrupted sleep. My husband went back in and stated that they will give a credit on our account. Today was the second time I went in due to getting an exemption note for my dog who had a reaction to his rabies shot to have due to using a kennel this year when we go away. It was directly written in his chart by Dr. Libby that this dog had seizures due to the rabies shot and cannot get any vaccines anymore in his life. So when the vet tech came in today, and since they did not see any other documentation of seizures they did not take the word of mouth nor the word of documentation from a licensed veterinarian who put it in my dog's chart. Recommend to continue giving vaccines and kennel this dog in a kennel which he does not like for a couple days to see if he has any more reactions plus now they charge $11 fee to clean the rooms on top of your $86 office visit and never give you your multi pet discount. This place has really gone downhill and I can't believe that in one vet wouldn't take the documentation of another vet that was highly requested to be seen by when he was there would not recommend this vet clinic to anybody anymore. My 10 point score prior to Dr. Libby retiring just went down to in the negative zones. Please do not take your dogs to this place, they are not friendly anymore and do not take the word-of-mouth by you nor the vet prior to being retired.

I was always treated with a great amount of respect there. My dog never had really super serious problems while I was his client, but he was always there for me with every case of worms- and with a hound, there were lots. Developing a relationship is important in Kevin's practice- vets tend to see a lot of pet owners that are unprepared at best. So, he tends to treat pretty aggressively, and order more diagnostics than other vets might to protect himself. If you disagree with him, stay calm, be reasonable and be assertive, and he will be as well. Time in the practice and not skipping out on regular visits helps this along. Plus, there are a few intangibles as a client of Kevin's. They have separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs. They price match prescription medication. And if you're a client, you will find no better rates for boarding. Bottom line is that Kevin's practice deserves a better rating than it has. I can't give it a five star review because of the price, but he kept my business for five years- that's got to count for something.
