After posting my review, the manager took the time to personally call me and send an Email providing a detailed explanation addressing the reason for the significant price increase. Because of the way CLT Appliance handled my concerns, I want to update my previous review. My original concern was regarding the pricing of a repair and the inconsistent explanations I received about why the cost had increased significantly compared with my previous repair and a recent quote from the company. I want to be clear that my concern was not with the technician. He was professional, courteous, arrived on time, and completed the repair well. After reviewing my feedback, the manager from CLT Appliance reached out to discuss my concerns. I appreciate that the company took the time to listen and address the situation rather than dismissing my feedback. I also appreciated that my initial conversation with the manager's assistant was escalated and handled promptly. The manager reviewed my concerns, provided additional clarification regarding the pricing, acknowledged my frustration, and worked with me to resolve the issue. CLT Appliance ultimately refunded the $125 difference that was the source of my concern. I appreciate a company that is willing to listen to customers, take accountability, and make things right. While my initial experience left me frustrated, the way CLT Appliance responded afterward demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. I also want to again recognize the technician who performed the repair. He was professional and did excellent work.
