During the initial visit, the technician was able to run the washing machine and hear the noise firsthand. This is documented on the receipt from the company. However, after being unable to repair the issue, I was told from the technician that on the initial visit they could not reproduce the noise and therefore could not determine what was wrong. They then shifted the blame back onto me, despite the fact that the noise had already been reproduced and documented during their initial visit. The washing machine was ultimately not fixed, yet I was still charged for the service. My biggest issue is not simply that they were unable to make the repair, but that their explanation contradicts what happened during the initial appointment and what is documented on their own receipt. I would not recommend Mr. Appliance based on my experience. I expected an honest diagnosis and an effective repair, but instead I was left with the same problem, out the service charge, and dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting their parent company Neighborly for their dishonest practice.
