I walked in and he wasn't there but the girl was. she said it was "just done" and she was "going to call me today". gee, thanks. I still paid the quoted price. no discount whatsoever for waiting over a month to repair my ring. and the worst part is he reshaped it (it had a little kink in the band) which I didn't ask for, and now it's tighter than it was on me before. also, one of the diamond chips he replaced that had fallen out has a flaw- a black spot in it that I can't stop staring at. I'm not bringing it back in there to have it fixed again and waiting another month. i'm good. I won't be bringing my jewelry back here.

The Sales Manager was kind, patient & able to provide a purchase price (for both gold & two small natural diamonds) right away. My fiancé and I had some pretty crummy experiences shopping for an engagement ring, but as soon as we walked into this place we felt at ease to look around no commitments, ask questions, and then decide later no pressure. I was just at Hendrickson's Fine Jewelry on Glenwood and came away a very satisfied customer without spending a dime. I had some inexpensive clip-on earrings that had been my mom's but that I've never personally worn them bc of the clip-on style. Although, ultimately, it was agreed that it didn't make sense to have posts laser-soldered on the earrings, the clerk who waited on me (and had my silver jewelry polished while I was waiting) was extremely professional & kind and I will definitely be going there for any future fine jewelry needs. read more

Steve and his associates are truly top notch craftsmen. I had purchased an antique engagement ring for my fiancee and we needed it sized. After several trips to other jewelers, the consensus was it was impossible and the ring would break. At Hendricksons they viewed the ring and had it done that day. They saved me. He said that he could clean it right there in the store and that there would be absolutely no charge. Whoa? Really? Free? We of course jumped on that and loved the results. My diamond shines ever so brightly and I am a happy customer. I then decided to shop their jewelry case. I was surprised that their jewelry is just stunning. They do run sales from time to time. I was pretty bummed because I don't live close and I was there during store hours but I did realize that since this is Covid 2020, hours can be wonky. So I call them and leave a message about what happened. I get a call back pretty soon and they are so apologetic, tell me that if I want, they will come drop of my ring. I tell them no, it's ok I'll come back next week. I just came back and they hand me my gorgeously polished and fixed ring. We ooohh and awwww for a second and I say, great thank you - how much do I owe you? And she says - no it's ok. We are waiving the charge due to last week's misunderstanding. The Bruneau Jasper was more expensive with the rocks smaller or around the size of my first being ~$20-30, and then the ones that were larger paperweight sizes going up to $100 and more. Considering I had recently been to the Bruneau Sand Dunes, I would have paid more attention to admire the rocks if I knew they were so valuable. There's another rock shop nearby (Idaho Rocks and Gems) that I didn't get to check out, but was told they would probably have a more casual selection. This gem shop seems to specialize in jewels whereas Idaho Rocks and Gems nearby might be better for rock hobbyists who also want to go rockhounding together.
