First of all, let me say all of the staff at Thomas and Dragonette were very relaxed, patient, and professional. I never felt rushed or that they were too busy to manage my care in the way that it should be. What a pleasant surprise to be able to book an appointment within a reasonable amount of time with a wonderful, caring, professional, dental hygienist. Unlike my previous dental car provider, my dental hygienist, at Thomas and Dragonette cleaned my teeth and I felt absolutely no pain or tinges the entire time. It's also very nice at the end of your appointment when your dentist walks in to the room, addresses you by name, shakes your hand, checks over your dental work, and you feel you're not just another number out the door. I'm completely glad that I have returned as a patient to Thomas and Dragonette.

I was a patient of Wood Dental for 3.5 years before I moved out of the Buffalo area. From the very…read morebeginning, I was always extremely satisfied with the service and care I received. I needed deep cleanings and gum care when I first arrived; they put me on a plan where I came in four times a year for cleanings rather than just twice a year, to ensure that I received the best care possible. I had other services done, like removing/replacing mercury fillings and fixing old fillings that had cracked. I was always happy with the work done. I even received a call one night after-hours from Dr. Wood when he could tell I'd had a particularly rough time during a procedure, just to make sure I was feeling okay. I was always impressed with the technology in the office; it seemed like every time I went in I noticed something they'd added or something that I'd never seen before in previous dentists' offices. My hygienist, Amanda H, is also highly recommended. In addition to being extremely professional and competent, she would remember things about my life and ask me about them during my visits. She swore she never took notes, she just remembered! And this wasn't just because I was coming in four times a year so I was a more recognizable face; my husband only went in twice a year and she'd remember personal details about his life, too. My only "complaint" is that the patient chair in Dr. Wood's procedure room is MUCH more plush and comfortable than the normal chairs in the hygienists' cleaning rooms. Imagine the increased teeth-cleaning experience if those were located in every room!

I don't know how they do it, but I didn't feel a thing when the novocaine was going in. Now that the novocaine has worn off and I can properly feel my teeth, the side that was deep cleaned feels cleaner than I can ever remember, and even though I knew it took a whole lot of work, was totally painless. I'm actually looking forward to getting the deep cleaning done on the other side next month!

The wait is typically short, and I'm always promptly seen once inside the individual patient room. If you need a distraction, there are TVs in the waiting room as well as in each patient room. They offer a wide variety of services; I've only been seen for cleanings, so I can't comment too much on those. Always appreciate the cute goody bag I get to take home. Also a nice feature they have is a text message sent out reminding of appointments. Just in case you want to book in advance, they won't let ya forget! Thanks for everything!

I wanted…read moremy two year old to experience the dentist for the first time, but for that to happen, I had to bring my mom to watch her while I finished up my appointment. But as I also have a 6 week old baby and no one else to watch her, she had to come too... My appointment started out with my 2 year old sitting on my lap in the chair while Rita the hygienist raised up the chair and looked at both her teeth and mine, and given that she's going through her painfully shy phase, this was a miracle... Rita then lowered the chair and held out her hand to take my daughter to my mom in the waiting area, and my daughter happily went with her (again, miracle!) Rita then x-rayed my teeth and was very gentle, I wasn't uncomfortable at all (unlike previous dental X-rays). She then started my cleaning. Halfway through my cleaning, my youngest started howling and we could hear her all the way in the waiting room. Rita paused my cleaning, had my mom bring in the baby and gave me 10 minutes to nurse her right in the chair. Once the baby was happily asleep, Rita resumed my cleaning. I didn't actually get to see the dentist as he got called out on an emergency, but he looked at my x-rays later and called me to tell me everything looked just fine. My 2 year old had a great time in the waiting room, there were tons of toys for her to play with and the receptionist even gave her a prize for being so good. The whole experience was so positive, both for me and my kids and I will never be switching dentists ever again! My two year old is still talking about going to see the doctor that helped her teeth!

They said I had 2 suspected cavities. That was 2 years ago. Still have no tooth pain but recently got insurance and forgot why I never went back. The receptionist acting as thought I had questionable insurance and later called back to let me know they did accept my insurance -as if I won the lottery- but there would still be a $25 deductible. I asked 5 people at work and NOT ONE said they pay a deductible for cleanings. Brighton also wanted $100 for any work I might need done and said it as if I should expect something to be wrong, even though I've never had a cavity and have no tooth pain.

I had come here a couple of times for a cleaning and some x rays complaining of tooth pain. There was a specific doctor I had seen on this particular day for tooth pain. I don't remember her name and she didn't work much longer at this dental office after this incident happened. I went in for tooth pain on this particular day. When I got to the office, they did a visual check of the area where the tooth was that was in question. I couldn't pin point exactly which tooth but had an idea. It turns out, I was correct on which tooth was causing the pain. The technician took an x-ray and brought me back to the room to wait for the dentist to look at my x-ray. *I didn't see the x-ray that day! The dentist didn't ask or offer me to look and I didn't think to ask. The computer was behind my head. The dentist proceeded to tell me she didn't see anything on the x-ray and saw no visible signs of decay or anything unusual. She told me to come back in 2 WEEKS if the pain persisted or didn't get better. Welp, 2 DAYS later, I woke up with serious pain and swelling of the right side of my face! The side where the tooth was in question. I scanned around the left side of my mouth with my tongue to discover something that felt like a PLUMP BLUEBERRY! Oh, of course it's Saturday and I have school all day! I called the dentist and said I needed to be seen right away and explained the situation. They saw me in 30 min with a different dentist and she informed me I had a tooth abscess and they needed to drain it immediately. It was so tender, swollen and painful they could barley numb me to drain it! It took quite awhile and a lot of pain!! I asked why the previous dentist didn't catch the start of this 2 days earlier. She said it's not always possible to see the start of an abscess. We looked at the x-ray together and quickly discovered the tooth in question was not even in the x-ray that was taken!! The technician didn't get all the way to the back of my mouth and the tooth that has the abscess wasn't included in the x-ray! Why the first dentist didn't catch this is beyond me! I was livid! I said, well there's no way to know if it could've been caught because the tooth isn't even in the x-ray. They ended up waiving the emergency fee and charged me for the draining of the abscess and a couple other things. With that being said, I was charged some other fee or a higher fee than normal for this procedure because it was an emergency visit. Insert eye roll. Oh and insurance only covered part of it because it was an emergency visit. Insert another eye roll. Anyways, I kept coming to this dental office as long as the new dentist I saw would be my dentist. I had a root canal done, maybe 2. Don't judge me. She was great, but I could not stand the receptionists and BILLING! After almost every visit, i'd receive a bill in the mail saying I owed more money even though I paid what they said I owed at my appt. Please, get it togethe

It's this trust and reputation that keeps me coming back. Even at a time my insurance didn't work here I still came and paid out of pocket because this office is that good.
