I was incredibly nervous and anxious as I feared I cracked some teeth from my flare up. I had several x-rays taken it and a thorough cleaning done. Dr. Masoud was so kind and thoughtful. She examined my jaw and checked my teeth for signs of grinding. I've complained of TMJ pain to my past dentist and they never addressed the issue. However, Dr. Masoud prescribed me some medicine and suggested a mouth guard and injections. I really cannot thank her enough for looking at both my teeth and jaw. Inshallah, this will be the end to my jaw pain. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Masoud, especially if you suffer jaw pain.

But as I also have a 6 week old baby and no one else to watch her, she had to come too... My appointment started out with my 2 year old sitting on my lap in the chair while Rita the hygienist raised up the chair and looked at both her teeth and mine, and given that she's going through her painfully shy phase, this was a miracle... Rita then lowered the chair and held out her hand to take my daughter to my mom in the waiting area, and my daughter happily went with her (again, miracle!) Rita then x-rayed my teeth and was very gentle, I wasn't uncomfortable at all (unlike previous dental X-rays). She then started my cleaning. Halfway through my cleaning, my youngest started howling and we could hear her all the way in the waiting room. Rita paused my cleaning, had my mom bring in the baby and gave me 10 minutes to nurse her right in the chair. Once the baby was happily asleep, Rita resumed my cleaning. I didn't actually get to see the dentist as he got called out on an emergency, but he looked at my x-rays later and called me to tell me everything looked just fine. My 2 year old had a great time in the waiting room, there were tons of toys for her to play with and the receptionist even gave her a prize for being so good. The whole experience was so positive, both for me and my kids and I will never be switching dentists ever again! My two year old is still talking about going to see the doctor that helped her teeth!

He had a fantastic bedside manner that put people at ease, was very gentle, and I liked that he never once tried to upsell me on procedures or treatments I didn't need. So, I was sad when I heard he was going to sell the practice, because I figured I'd never find another dentist who I liked. But then Dr. Korn came into the picture! I find her style to be very similar to Dr. Weinman. (Which makes sense, because if I am not mistaken, I believe he was her mentor?) Dr. Korn is fantastic. She takes time to answer questions, she has a gentle touch, and I trust her with pointy/loud tools in my mouth. She's done a fair bit of work on my teeth, including repairing a chip in between my two front teeth. I can hardly remember precisely where the chip was now, because it looks so natural and has held up to my (probably overly rough) flossing. There's great staff in this office, from the front desk to the hygienists. Cheryl, one of the hygienists, is wonderful. Great bedside manner, and she's also gentle. Plus, she is compassionate and nonjudgemental, which is important if you have any shame about the state of your teeth. Also, my husband has Lauren as his hygienist, and he absolutely loves the way she cleans his teeth. Bonus about this office: It is spotlessly clean and beautiful inside. Looks modern and upscale (but not pretentious), so that can help put you at ease. (You can know you're not going to be uncomfortable in some dingy old office with questionable stains on the carpet, dental chairs with weird odors, mouse droppings in the corner, and out-of-date dental equipment. I had noticed two…read moredifferent gray/dark areas on two of my lower teeth and was concerned about the little gap I could feel where the bottom of the tooth ended and where the gums began. First appointment was just an initial check-up and cleaning. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I was a bit nervous about my next appointment though, where the doc would get rid of that decay and fill it over. Never had a cavity in my life, now I'm 43 and it's all coming apart!! I went in for the fillings and wow, let me tell you - #1, I didn't even feel pain from the lidocaine injections given to numb you all up for the actual procedure. Just a bit of pressure. #2, I felt absolutely nothing during the actual removal work. And no, half my face wasn't out of commission nor did I drool or speak very incoherently lol. I do not have insurance, so I was pleasantly surprised by their prices. 10/10 will return as long as I live in this area!! NOT RELATED TO THE PLACE OF BUSINESS, JUST AN OBSERVATION FOR PEOPLE WITH NERVOUS HABITS---- However, I will warn any people with nervous habits that involve chewing or biting on your lips: the total numbness is going to cause you blisters the next day. I noticed myself doing it soon after the appointment and thought "OKAY you're going to have to stop doing that..." but alas, by the next day I had a weird looking sore on my lip where I bite it, pretty subconsciously, until now. Luckily that healed quick. But that's my own damn fault.

I had come here a couple of times for a cleaning and some x rays complaining of tooth pain. There was a specific doctor I had seen on this particular day for tooth pain. I don't remember her name and she didn't work much longer at this dental office after this incident happened. I went in for tooth pain on this particular day. When I got to the office, they did a visual check of the area where the tooth was that was in question. I couldn't pin point exactly which tooth but had an idea. It turns out, I was correct on which tooth was causing the pain. The technician took an x-ray and brought me back to the room to wait for the dentist to look at my x-ray. *I didn't see the x-ray that day! The dentist didn't ask or offer me to look and I didn't think to ask. The computer was behind my head. The dentist proceeded to tell me she didn't see anything on the x-ray and saw no visible signs of decay or anything unusual. She told me to come back in 2 WEEKS if the pain persisted or didn't get better. Welp, 2 DAYS later, I woke up with serious pain and swelling of the right side of my face! The side where the tooth was in question. I scanned around the left side of my mouth with my tongue to discover something that felt like a PLUMP BLUEBERRY! Oh, of course it's Saturday and I have school all day! I called the dentist and said I needed to be seen right away and explained the situation. They saw me in 30 min with a different dentist and she informed me I had a tooth abscess and they needed to drain it immediately. It was so tender, swollen and painful they could barley numb me to drain it! It took quite awhile and a lot of pain!! I asked why the previous dentist didn't catch the start of this 2 days earlier. She said it's not always possible to see the start of an abscess. We looked at the x-ray together and quickly discovered the tooth in question was not even in the x-ray that was taken!! The technician didn't get all the way to the back of my mouth and the tooth that has the abscess wasn't included in the x-ray! Why the first dentist didn't catch this is beyond me! I was livid! I said, well there's no way to know if it could've been caught because the tooth isn't even in the x-ray. They ended up waiving the emergency fee and charged me for the draining of the abscess and a couple other things. With that being said, I was charged some other fee or a higher fee than normal for this procedure because it was an emergency visit. Insert eye roll. Oh and insurance only covered part of it because it was an emergency visit. Insert another eye roll. Anyways, I kept coming to this dental office as long as the new dentist I saw would be my dentist. I had a root canal done, maybe 2. Don't judge me. She was great, but I could not stand the receptionists and BILLING! After almost every visit, i'd receive a bill in the mail saying I owed more money even though I paid what they said I owed at my appt. Please, get it togethe

I needed deep cleanings and gum care when I first arrived; they put me on a plan where I came in four times a year for cleanings rather than just twice a year, to ensure that I received the best care possible. I had other services done, like removing/replacing mercury fillings and fixing old fillings that had cracked. I was always happy with the work done. I even received a call one night after-hours from Dr. Wood when he could tell I'd had a particularly rough time during a procedure, just to make sure I was feeling okay. I was always impressed with the technology in the office; it seemed like every time I went in I noticed something they'd added or something that I'd never seen before in previous dentists' offices. My hygienist, Amanda H, is also highly recommended. In addition to being extremely professional and competent, she would remember things about my life and ask me about them during my visits. She swore she never took notes, she just remembered! And this wasn't just because I was coming in four times a year so I was a more recognizable face; my husband only went in twice a year and she'd remember personal details about his life, too. My only "complaint" is that the patient chair in Dr. Wood's procedure room is MUCH more plush and comfortable than the normal chairs in the hygienists' cleaning rooms. Imagine the increased teeth-cleaning experience if those were located in every room!
