HCG was very detailed when it came to the plan and cost wise it was one of the lower ones, NOT INCLUDING MATERIALS. With Material it was right in the middle. HCG provided receipts of what they purchase for the job as well. Very happy with how the project turned out. I had pictures of what I wanted and HCG delivered. My bathroom looks better than some of the million dollar new homes I've seen at open houses. If you have an exact idea on how you want your bathroom, this company will deliver. I went the route of permits and it took about a month. If you don't need permits it would be half the time. I had 4 inspections and the inspectors made comments about the craftsmanship of the work about the spacing, the levelling and the details. Henrick and his crew did fabulous work on the shower and floor of our master bathroom. They rescued us after another contractor was unable to do the job. The entire crew finished the demolition portion in just a few hours, under the supervision of Henrick and his tile guru, Suren. Then Suren did his magic, converting our headache into a dream bathroom. All the tile work is beautiful. We especially love the open and spacious design that Henrik and Suren created, eliminating the bench and sliding glass door in favor of a half wall with a glass top. We had 2 windows leaking, which needed to be removed, flashing replaced and ultimately the entire wall needed the stucco re-done. Along the way, we found some dry rotted studs, which were replaced as well. It was important to me to find a contractor who could explain what needed to be done, why, and how. Henrik listened well, answered my questions and checked all the boxes. Henrik's quote was the middle cost among other contractors. I loved that his quote was professional. It clearly laid out exactly what work would be done, down to precise measurements and included waste materials hauled to the dump. We did have to make adjustments to the plans and Henrik provided an updated, signed invoice within a timely manner. We made 3 payments: a deposit, partial completion payment and final payment. He was very responsive throughout, and work was completed much faster than I anticipated. Overall, the wall looks great, and we have not had any leaks since.
