John, the owner, and his crew did a flawless job from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the result. It's a beautiful bathroom and was done with care and respect for our living zone. John provided a bid with a complete breakdown of project tasks and included materials which left no questions on our end. He provided info on where to get our bath products, tile and countertops and said it would take about 2 weeks to complete. ("yeah...right" I thought to myself). It took 2 weeks and a day (including shower glass installation)! From day one, they would show up at 8 am sharp, wait for the entire crew to arrive before knocking, and work straight through till 5pm. They were clean, courteous and meticulous in their workmanship. John would let me know what would occur over the next couple of days which was great as I was able to have things ready for the crew to power through and get it done. John even came back out to the house to re-install a mirror (we opted for a larger mirror) after the project was completed. Our family worked with John last year for our remodel and the experience couldn't have been better. When picking a contractor for remodel there are lots of uncertainties and anxieties. For example: Are the reviews real? Will they complete the work on time? Are they going to nickel and dime me for every little change? And most importantly, will they do things right? I contacted no less than 8 contractors and I was unimpressed with 7 of them. When they come over and start measuring with an iPad and digital gizmos, expect a high quote. When they tell you to go to their showroom and pick out some cabinets, expect some cheap quality goods designed for rental properties. John was always on time, performed the work flawlessly by showing you how it should be done. Our upstairs shower was leaking and John's crew repaired it with hot mop. Our entire downstairs flooring, baseboards, kitchen cabinets and island, bathroom was all redone to perfection by John's crew. Did we run into small issues? Sure, but John always came back out to take care of it at no cost. He stands by his work and is proud of his product/service. If you're on the fence, just go with John. He's not going to be the cheapest but if cheap is what you're after John is probably not the right choice to begin with. His cabinets are all custom made to order and you'll not be disappointed. We had our kitchen remodeled. John was very helpful early on when we were still ironing out what we wanted to do, providing his thoughts and ideas as well as setting our expectations on what he thought was realistic or doable. The process of such a large remodel was stressful, John was great on his communication and timelines. Making it clear what was on him to do vs us to do prior to start of work. Once work started he kept us updated on where the project was in regards to that original timeline. His team hit it spot on, 2 weeks was originally communicated and they got it all done in 2 weeks. We are really happy with the quality of the work, as you can see in the pictures. John has a "lets get things done right" mentality. There were some mistakes that happened: some paint on the cabinets was scratched during installation and a tile was chipped after it was installed. We needed a master shower remodel in order to create an accessible shower for a senior struggling to get up and down a tile step. John provided a quote and then committed to a start date less than 2 weeks later. The job was beautifully executed on a timely schedule that was like a dance, with the concrete, hot mop, plumber, tiler etc. all coming in after each other to perfect synchronization. We were very pleased with the flexibility of timing and with the flexibility of working with seniors, who want things done a specific way. John rolled with the punches with a smile. This should be my best review yet of Complete Construction. Thanks John and crew again for an outstanding remodeling experience! Who says that? We are beyond satisfied with the quality of the work completed, and the strong work ethic we saw in everyone. From owner/GC John Fialho to each crew member and each subcontractor. Work completed on time, a clean job site. Schedule was explained as we proceeded. Custom built cabinets, granite fabricators, window & door installers, plumbers, tile installers, drywall finisher every one of them a gem! So the details; our 20 year old home lacked pizazz! John worked with us on our designs to bring our vision to life! No more builder basic materials! No more poorly functioning - just "make do" spaces. Now we have style! We eliminated the large tub and replaced it with a spacious spa like shower. We added a fold down seat & hand shower and brought the tile to the ceiling. The 2 useless windows in the original tub area were replaced with a single operable window. No lack of light with all the white surfaces. The carpeted floor now has beautiful porcelain tile and the cabinets now stand 36" high with loads of storage. Custom mirrors and deluxe medicine cabinets. Oh! And the addition of a ceiling fan too. The builder wasn't required but we sure need it. We are so so pleased. In addition Complete Construction Realty remodeled our master closets and installed porcelain tile on our kitchen floors. John's tile guys (Vladimir and Peter?) did an amazing job on my kitchen backsplash. They worked tirelessly for 10 hours installing my custom tiles. It was a big complicated project but they never complained. The end result is exactly what I envisioned. They were punctual and tidy, cleaning up completely at the end. John also installed an extra electrical outlet on my counter and replaced some outlets. AND he solved a problem with my cabinet drawers being blocked when I had new doors replaced by another contractor. Fixed in 10 minutes or less at no extra charge. I should also state that I have quirky tastes in design. John never questioned or judged my choices. Prior contractors have tried to steer me toward what they wanted. Came on Wed to look at bathroom, quoted $25k without listing what they will do in detail. So I requested an actual quote/contract--owner said he will have it that night or latest Friday. I gave my info to email quote. Friday, I texted to see if there is a quote as I want to be in contract asap as I know it can take a month or two for the work to be done and I wanted to be on the books. I was also curious why $25k which is why I want itemized quote so I can reduce it by a little--like I dont need walls to be redone, etc. In truth, they are a lot more expensive than most companies but I wanted a "one-stop shop" for my needs as I have dry rot under bathroom floor. Nevertheless, no response on Friday so I did a quick text on Sunday because I do get busy over the week due to work and figured they will respond with another delayed date. Instead I get a rude comment saying he told me it will take 7-10 days for quote and to stop texting him everyday. First of all, I texted twice and it was short and quick (Friday and Sunday) during reasonable hours at mid-day. Not asking much. Never mind. I don't need your services. Your 35 good reviews may be from family and friends. No customer needs some rude owner telling off a potential customer who is simply asking for a quote and details on what you will do for my hard earned money. We discovered extensive water damage in our bathroom from a bad shower pan, so once the mold company tore everything out we were left in quite a bind (we only have the one shower). We had not prepared for this as we were just wanting to put new flooring down. John at Complete Construction was very responsive and while their schedule was too full to do a full rebuild, he was able to spare a couple guys to remove all the bad subflooring and some shoddy previous repairs, and build back the subfloors quickly and correctly. His flexibility and willingness to help us has put us back on schedule to have our house back in time for the return to school. John Fialho, was great to work with. He returned my call promptly. We set a fair price and I ordered the tile from Natural Stone Design Gallery. Once everything was here, I let John know. He quickly set up a time and Petro came a few days later. He laid tile, replaced the baseboard, reset the toilet. He even touched up the paint after caulking and rehung the door we had removed. I called Complete Construction and John was there promptly and gave me an assessment for the cause of flooding which was different than what I was thinking. John and his crew end up helping us replace the damaged wall inside and outside including sheet rock, insulations, plywood shear wall, and stucco. They also painted the room and replaced the carpet with LVP. The work was on time and highly professional. John stood with me dealing with the insurance which ended up not paying for most of the damage. John remodeled our little detacched garage into space for 2 offices and music studio. The whole process was relatively quick (even during COVID times))! The job took place during Spring 2022 and was completed in May 2022. John was super communicative the entire time and all the professionals he hired were just that, professional.There are a few small design components we might have done differently if we knew better, but overall we are exceedingly pleased with the work and with John. I waited some months to post this review because we wanted to test out the space for a bit first. We love it! We use it almost everyday. We did have what we thought was an issue with the new HVAC system for the space.
