This has been a long overdue review for Vitali and his crew. They just recently finished a full master bathroom remodel. Vitali and his crew and very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I found Vitali from a referral and he did not disappoint. His prices are not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I'd say it's more middle of the line. What I like about Vitali's crew is that he had the same 2-3 people working at the site. So there weren't a bunch of foot traffic with random workers. He has a small tight knit crew that is experienced and answered every questions I had. Vitali is knowledgeable with everything in regards to a bathroom remodel. He knows plumbing, electrical and everything related to the remodeling. He was able to guide me into choosing a lighted mirror vs the traditional wall lights. I must say the lighted mirrors were a great choice because it made the bathroom classy and elegant. He was able to give me the option of added recessed lighting. I only had two prior and he was able to add 6 lights total. As for the shower, he was able to open up a wall which added more shower space. He was able to install the shower wall tiles a little higher to make the wall look nicer. Also, the shower wall glass he provided was very thick and beefy and made the entire shower look elegant. We had a couple of delays but it was handled fairly quickly. Overall, I'd highly recommend Vitali and his crew! Vitali answered all my questions and responded to my calls and texts in a timely manner. He was very professional and honest about his suggestions. I can't say enough good things about V&S Quality Construction. Vitaliy and Sergey showed up every day on time, laid canvas down in our hallways, worked hard each day, cleaned up at the end of the day and did a beautiful job with our bathroom remodel. We hired them to add a tub/shower combo with an acrylic surround to replace the showerless soaking tub that had been in there previously. They had to take the walls down to the studs, remove a 46"x46" window and add a 45"x8.5" window above the surround for light and ventilation. We also had them add exhaust fans in each of our two bathrooms which previously did not have any. In the process of doing the work they found that an existing mixing valve had been leaking inside the wall for quite some time. Whoever had installed it had not done a good soldering job on the copper pipes and, in fact, had burnt one of the studs in the process. They expertly corrected these problems and completed the job ahead of schedule. And it turned out beautifully. They did all of this for a reasonable price and kept us advised of the progress every step of the way. We would not hesitate to hire Vitaliy and Sergey again. If you're like we are, you've probably run across contractors in the past who do shoddy work, are not reliable, don't show up when they say they will and treat you as though you are more of a nuisance than a paying customer. We hired V & S Quality Construction to redo our upstairs space and are so happy with the results! Out of 5 stars, they deserve a 6. Previous homeowners had placed a wall and apparently created a non-permitted bedroom. Our original plan was to just move the wall, however Vitalii was the ONLY contractor to realize that if we kept the bedroom it could potentially lead to a reassessment in property value. He saved us from making a potentially very costly mistake and we are so grateful for his insight! Aside from the wall demo, V & S also redid a bathroom, bedroom and living space for us. They were very easy to work with and were quick to respond to any questions and concerns. We were also impressed with Vitalii, Sergei and crew's attention to detail, including tile and lighting layout. They would give recommendations, but never pushed them upon us. However, we went with almost all of them since they made so much sense or looked so much better. The other thing that we loved about this company was their honesty. The pricing was fair, and we were told upfront of how much any change or addition would cost before proceeding. When the project was done, I accidentally wrote a final check for more than the amount due. We had a paint-matching issue (on Sherwin-Williams' end), and Vitaliy and Sergey were incredibly patient--repainting multiple times at no extra cost to get it right. They even went out of their way to help pick up the readjusted paint so that the project wouldn't be delayed further. They also kept the area clean and minimized dust. My project involved converting an addition on my garage that was once a workshop into a more livable family space. Vitaliy & his team completed a full primary bath remodel. This was an ADA project. It included widening our shower area doorway, installing accessible sinks, fixtures, roll under sink cabinetry, installing wall mounted toilet, curbless roll-in shower with grab bars, foldable shower seat, relocated shower fixtures, and upgrading to a smart light and speaker system. Everything turned out wonderful! It has made the quality of daily life for my husband much easier. It is completely functional and accessible. It looks stunning! Vitalii completely remodeled my bathroom down to the studs last year, and will be doing my kitchen this year. He is highly skilled and detail oriented so everything comes out just right. He is also honest, dependable, and very easy to work with. For my bathroom, he did everything himself: tile work, electrical, heated floors, plumbing, installing new doors in different places, painting and smoothing the walls. When he encounters a problem, for example my ceiling was not straight, he's solves it. I initially wanted to work with him as he came highly recommended. I am, I admit, a perfectionist and I wanted the tiles to look really good. They do! I'm thrilled! He is also very aesthetic, has a good eye for design, and made excellent suggestions. I have never written a review for contractor before, but I must this time. The first reason is that I was cheated by a no license contractor named Jason D'Angelo, who fraudulently used D'Angelo Remodeling business to lie that he is licensed. Unfortunately, I didn't check his number, so my master bathroom remodeling had to be completely redone. He also damaged other places and those mistakes had to be fixed. Due to the unfortunate event, I was extra careful interviewing the next contractor the 2nd time. I thoroughly questioned everyone and communicated many times. I was connected to Vitaliy by BuildZoom company. They contacted me directly, but I was doubtful since I had a bad experience. However, after communication, I realized that their service is free and their contractors all had trustworthy ratings on the site. They also will not push you to find one. They will try to find a good contractor base on your needs, but if you are not satisfied, they will continue to try. After you get a contractor, they continue to follow-up and also offer to review the signed contract for satisfaction guarantee. So, if you have no idea what to do, I highly recommend going through this company. I ended up selecting Mr. Vitaliy's company and I want to recommend his services to everyone who's considering. 1. He was full of sympathy for me after hearing my story and tried his best to help me out. Not every contractor is willing to clean up someone's mess, so he's very considerate. 2. There were only two contractors out of all the contractors I interviewed who were willing to give me an itemized estimate. Mr. Vitaliy's price was the best over all the others. When Mr. Vitaliy gave me the estimate, he said that there may be more to be done, and he will update the order as things come up. My project was very complicated due to the mess created by the last contractor, Mr. Vitaliy was very clear in writing up everything he had done and the price that comes with the job as he was fixing up the mistakes. This save me so many energies and worry, so there was no tension. Whether I got the state inspection or not, his price did not change. 3. During the remodeling process, he paid high attention to detail. He was trying to save me money too. He said that this process requires more money, but the result might be the same. He let us decide and was never pushy. He also gave design advise, because we are not professionals. His design turned out better than our original ideas. We were extremely satisfied with the final product. Our contractor was greatly skilled, designed oriented, honest and artistic. 4. He only used secondary contractor for three days for some labor-intensive jobs. He completed all the work himself. He explained it would take longer, but will ensure quality. He said that he doesn't want us to suffer a second time and did all the work himself. The only disadvantage is that English is his second language, but our communication was still effective and clear. There was no problem at all. Mr. Vitaliy used to live in the Bay Area but moved to Sacramento recently. His customer base is mostly in the Bay. He said that the Bay salary is high, but he wants to build new base in Sacramento. He wants to spend more time with his kids here. Mr. Vitaliy may not always have the lowest price, but his asking price is very compatible. If you live in the Sacramento area, and still try to find a contractor, give him a try! read more
