The estimate, design, demo, and build processes all went smoothly because of Agustin and his crew, who started every day bright and early - even when utterly frigid. Like any big project, there were some unforseen challenges, but Agustin communicated with us regularly and made the design changes and/or repairs that were necessary to push forward. Agustin and the crew did a great job with the deck and patio modifications to accommodate. I highly recommend Creative Exteriors Plus!

Our builder (Churchill Classics) charged an arm and a leg, and we didn't want to go back to them for another quote, so I scheduled over 15 contractors to come out in 2 days. Of the contractors that came out, Agustin was the first. He was on time, knowledgeable, and gave me plenty of ammunition to go up against the remaining contractors. Although Creative Exteriors Plus was one of the most expensive options we looked at, it was also the only truly professional experience that left a great taste in my mouth going forward. Augustin of Creative Exteriors Plus is fantastic! I always look for contractors with strong integrity, who are honest, and who have no issues answering even the dumbest of questions. Agustin not only gave me peace of mind when meeting us, but he was also very open and honest about everything, from the work, scheduling, payment, and timeframe, to the actual products he used. Before screening in our deck, I wanted to stain/seal the deck and power wash it but didn't want to spend the extra capital getting it professionally done. Agustin also helped walk me through products to look at, steps to properly power wash, and troubleshooting via text the whole way through. At one point, I mentioned that my Google caller ID had picked up another business name, Prime Construction Corp, and I wanted to verify if this was related to him or what the connection was. Agustin called me right away and explained that it was an old business they contracted with bigger vendors, but during COVID, they pivoted and no longer have any affiliation with that business. He was quite surprised it popped up with his number. We had a great laugh about it, and I really appreciated how straightforward he was with this information. I love his transparency and honesty throughout the whole process, and we even contacted him again about possibly screening in/putting a roof over our walkup basement door. He was very candid, advising that having the window on the side and a lack of trees nearby would attribute to more cost and effort than a solid result. After brainstorming, we came up with the idea of buying screens and velcroing them around the rails (haven't put this plan into action yet), but I very much appreciate his candor and encouragement that this is a project I can do myself. The entire project was done in roughly 3 days: two days of work back to back, and then 1 Saturday due to rain. The screen is so beautifully and meticulously done that it doesn't even look like a screen is there. His team also managed to perfectly match our current post layout when constructing a new post and adding a door. The door also comes with a cool feature: it has a window that slides down. They also included 2 new keys for the door, and Agustin did a full walkthrough with us to ensure we were fully happy with the results. Before completing the deck, his team also power washed the bug gunk off the deck and removed some of the remaining tape I had forgotten to remove when I stained the deck. He also offered to come back and install our ceiling fan once we actually pick one out. He's local and always just a short text away if I need anything. I cannot recommend Creative Exteriors Plus enough and absolutely rave about Agustin to everyone I know! Thank you so much for all of your hard work, and we will definitely be using you again in the near future for fencing/patio options.

There really was not much of a decision based on our history with Blaine. We were not disappointed. Remodeling a kitchen is much different than remodeling a bathroom - many more moving parts and design decisions. The kitchen remodel highlighted the best trait about Blaine. You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

I used high quality lighting, and porch rail which included a flat top for drinks, and also LED lighted from underneath. I am not prone to writing reviews, generally, but where work is especially good it should be acknowledged so their business can expand. The design and quote phase introduced some new ideas to my intentions. Kevin, MIcah, and Jose did a great job on-site. Based on the back deck/porch experience I am considering a front porch overhaul as well.

My project was complicated because my 1980s drywall shafts were the wrong size for modern solar blinds. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. Their price is VERY reasonable, and the communication through Yelp was professional and transparent. It is rare to find a contractor who cares this much about the details. If you want a crew that is honest, skilled, and delivers a beautiful finish, call Zach. 1000% recommendation!

All I know is the company does a decent job. It's the details that they overlook or don't follow through with and mainly that's with the owner Eric's promises. Jim and Keith pretty decent to deal with but the guy that comes out does the finish work bill is amazing. Awesome dude great to deal with easy-going can't say enough good about the gentleman. I'm gonna start off by telling you we paid $33,000 for a pool concrete removal install stamp steps poured very excited about it to get done. We knew that Blackwater was a lot more expensive than most but we were hoping they were going to do above average job. Job was completed the small details in the very beginning was upsetting then suddenly we realize they didn't put our steps in right they didn't put our hand rails in right. Most importantly, the runoff of all the water ran right back into the pool, not to the drain that they installed. After conversation with the owner, Eric and Jim at the site, they agreed to come back and yank all the concrete out, and install it again to me. That was a testament to their wanted to make sure the customers taken care of, and for that I am very grateful. Impressive!! They came back out here at the end of summer, yanked everything out as promised and re-poured the concrete. It doesn't look horrible but again back to the small details. Water is running where it should for about 75% one of the crucial areas on a wall that I'm having built water still runs to that as they promised it would not. I can deal with that. Will come up with other plans to make that go away plans. I shouldn't have to pat extra money on my end or I should not have to spend, but I will make it work out. The biggest issue is again as I made note early on with Eric, the owner, who does not make notes as he makes promises the details of the brake lines the details of where the color is supposed to go. All are important, and he failed to follow through. I'm only mentioning that because I think that's important for all of you that use these guys in the future if Jim and Keith promise you something it is done as promised if Eric promises, it, just get him to write it down in the day of the pour make sure you go over it with his team because he does not communicate anything to his team that you mention to him Jose and the team all those guys did an awesome job. They are all hard workers they come as promised they stay all day until it's done. Very very impressive. Work ethic on all those guys. Again, these guys came out, made it right from the original poor. That was not the reason I can't give them any more than a two. It's because of it not being perfect like it should've been what I did not mention is when they yanked out the old concrete I did not make them, pull out the stairs and steps that they poured only because Eric promised it would match and I would never have a problem With it separating One of two is already inaccurate. The colors do not match the clear that they sprayed on them is bubbling as he promise would not happen. All of my brand new coping I spent $5000 to put around the pool is all been damaged by they're not taking care of it before the poor. It's bent up and discolored and scratched is Eric promise would not happen Now you could only imagine I'm concerned about the separation in Time. Not saying, Eric is not a good dude. However, he should lead his team take care of the customers and just support them as he should stay behind the scenes. It's obvious he's built a great business and has a great team. He just needs to let them do their job and perform the business for him. Reach out if you want to see pictures. I'll be happy to show you again. Most of the work looks good just not great. Am I being too picky maybe but I'm the one spending the 33,000 and I go with the old saying you're supposed to get what you pay for and I did not. I can't say enough on how impressive it was for them to come out and make it right in their eyes they did Just not perfect as it should be for that kind of money Not saying, don't use them just saying get all your ducks in a row, get it everything in writing, and hold them accountable for what's written There's many other small details, I will not post and say just too much to go into, however A for effort 2 for overall score Thanks Jim, Keith and Bill for a great job and all the hard workers on this team kudos to each one of you guys for working your butts off and try and it's not your fault. Your owner did not communicate my expectations or request Thanks Th

I called them now (again), and they told me that it looks like normal wear and tear, so I will have to pay to have the stain and sealing redone. Nice enough guys, but not great customer service.
