HomeSquare Pro performed annual tune-ups on our portable generator, including February 2026. In July we noticed that we had a yellow light on the charger unit for the battery for our portable. We called HomeSquare Pro and Kris O'Brien came out. For some reason, by the time he came, the lights had turned all green, indicating no problem. He mentioned that we might be interested in a battery back-up system for our solar system. We said yes, we are very interested. He was going to email some information to us but never bothered to do that. We then noticed that the light on our battery charger was indicating that we needed a new battery for our portable generator. We spoke with Kris O'Brien who indicated he would tell the office to order a new battery. We waited for 2 weeks and never heard back. We have collectively called the office and Kris O'Brien 3 separate times and no one has bothered to return our calls or even tell us if they ever ordered a new battery. We are now forced to try to find someone to help us out with this problem. If anyone is looking to use HomeSquare Pro for anything, our advice is DON'T!!! What we have experienced lately is definitely bad business practice and poor customer service. UPDATE AS OF JULY 24, 2026: Kris O'Brien contacted us and was so helpful. He offered to make everything right. It was extremely professional of him to do this for us. We apologize to him for the misunderstanding on our part.
