Henry's Smog makes smog testing quick and painless. Pros: I've gone to Henry's twice so far for a smog test and there's been no wait both times. Passed with flying colors in less than 20 minutes! The employees have been quick and friendly. There's plenty of outdoor seating for guests. Tip: One thing to note is that once you're done, you have to put your car into reverse out onto the street since there's only 1 way into a short driveway that is enough space for 2 cars. read more

Lived up to the 5 star reviews. Had to get my car checked at a Smog Star Station by tomorrow for my vehicle registration renewal. I found Henry's Smog online. Called him 9am this morning, he said it'd take 20-25min for my smog check to be done. Came here 2 years ago, and had such a positive experience that I came back. 15 minutes, tops, I was out the door. The guy (Henry?) was quick, friendly and professional. But the real positive for me, in this current environment, was he was masked and kept his distance the entire time...even though I was the only customer currently there, and we were well over 6 feet apart as he did his work. Friendly, fast and affordable service. I came in during my lunch hour so that may have helped in the "fast" category. Also, Henry has a passion for cars so it was great talking to another enthusiast while I waited and while he performed the smog check on the aging Mitsubishi. Another good item to note is that before starting the formal visual inspection and emissions test he asks if I had any engine modifications to my car and proceeded to check under the hood if any are not CARB legal. After he gave me the thumbs up is when did he started with the formal smog inspection and test. I've had some places (on a previous car of mine) not ask initially and went ahead and performed both the formal visual inspection and emissions test knowing before hand that I was going to fail the inspection portion. Why do the emissions test when you know I'm going to fail the visual inspection anyway? Henry is a guy who is looking out for his customers best interest rather than just the customers money. He truly is a genuinely friendly guy that shows his appreciation for your business and he also just earned himself a loyal customer. read more
