As others have reported, this is a company that you DO NOT want to do business with. I requested this company come out and handle an HVAC that was not coming on. They claimed that they fixed the issue but less than 24 hours and $900 later what they claimed was a fix was back to exactly the state it was in when they showed up. They will not stand by their work and are trying to use it "as a deposit" to upcharge for replacing the unit when their work didn't actually solve the problem. Definitely do not recommend and if you do work with them, I'd highly recommend that you record their activity if you do choose to work with them. read more

This company install Two new heat pumps units my husband realized the grill of the unit was severely damage and looks used. We called one hour heating and air about this issues they denied and stated that both units are new. My husband called the manufacturer. The manufacturer told us the serial number comes back as refurbished. We call one hour heating and air to confront this. Only thing they say was they will come out and replace the one unit. And they did replace the unit. Year later we were having problems with the unit so we call for service. Jeremy Bagby Came repaired the problem but he demanded me to pay him $300 stating the unit has 1 year warranty. I have told Jeremy Bagby that one hour hearing and air gave us 10 years warranty for parts and labor he denied and demand for paperwork. He also said I need to pay him so he can go because he cannot wait. I have paid. I also found the regional document of agreement and I emailed to Debbie Black. It took great amount of my time to get that money back. The problem with the units was on going. 2 years later one of the unit stop working I have called for service. Again here is Jeremy Bagby ringing my doorbell. He checked the unit and told me I have no Freon. He told me I need at less 9.5lb of Freon and will cost me over 1600 dollars. He claims that warranty doesn't cover the cost for parts and Freon. It's near 100 degrees. The other problem is for maintenance I have made appointment on my off day they didn't show so I called the company to let them know they decided to show up at my home when I was at work and said I had appointments. I invest so much hard worked money on heat pumps units so I can have peace of mind but it's nightmare. On 4/17/2024. I called this company to see if they can come out for maintenance She said that was last year and I supposed to use twice. I have ask her to refund the Portion of the Maintenance I paid. She replied and said she will call me to let me know if they can Provide maintenance Service that I paid or able to return part of the money. Today is 4/21/24 Terrible company very dishonest. read more

Excellent Customer service and ethical business practices. Our heat stopped working and we had 2 companies to give us estimates. One company tried to replace the entire system while Steve from One hour Heating AV came and gave us an honest evaluation of our system, identified the problem, replaced the thermostat and went above and beyond to ensure we were good to go. Brian came out to service my heat when it was not working. He was prompt, courteous and very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly. My condensation pump at stopped pumping the water and was shutting the heating system down. He had a pump, replaced it and checked out my system, it has been working since. They will be coming back to replace my 20 year old A/C unit. I would highly recommend this company. They are professional and honest from the first person you speak too, to the Tech. read more

We have continued to call on Jorge and the plumbers who work in his company for more complicated jobs. On the current job, our outside faucet went from dripping to running. Jorge found the cause of the problem in the pressure release valve and replaced it. He also installed a cut-off valve for the house to supplement the cut-off from the street. Finally, he replaced the kitchen faucet. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and I have confidence in their work. On April 20, 2024, Double D Plumbing performed a repair on my water service line at the meter…read more Their invoice (attached) stated they "dug approximately 5 feet" and repaired the ¾" line. The job cost nearly $700. Within 14-15 months, the repair failed, resulting in massive water loss in August 2025, the City of Monroe contacted us after noticing abnormal usage on our account and advised us that the water should be shut off. When I attempted to shut the meter valve, the meter box was completely full of water and mud, making the valve inaccessible. I contacted the City for help, but before they could arrive, I had to use a shop vacuum to remove water and mud just to locate and close the shutoff myself. When I exposed the failed joint, both my wife and a neighbor witnessed water spraying directly from the threaded connection. The failure occurred at the exact location of Double D's prior repair. The cut-out piece left on our porch from their 2024 work shows a PVC male adapter with blue tape. That type of fitting exists only at the meter transition, proving they did in fact replace that joint despite later denials in writing. Their denial directly contradicts the physical evidence. Additionally, photographs show the section of pipe at the meter sits above the frost line, an obvious code violation. Any licensed plumber would recognize this immediately when working in that location. Instead of correcting it or disclosing it to us, Double D tied directly into that same noncompliant section. Worse, they repeated the same mistake by reinstalling another PVC male adapter threaded into the metal meter -- a weak, noncompliant method destined to fail again. The invoice itself was misleading, claiming "dug approximately 5 feet," which Craig later admitted meant linear feet, not depth. It also contained no warranty terms, no license number, and only a PO Box. Only after the fact did they claim a one-year warranty verbally, which cannot be enforced without written terms. When we called about the failure, we were told on speakerphone (with witnesses present) that they had no availability until "sometime the following week," despite knowing we had no usable water. The office refused to provide Craig's email address, insisted I call him directly, and ultimately I had to text Craig myself requesting his email so that all communication would remain documented in writing. Their final position was simply "out of warranty, not our problem." Summary: * Misrepresented invoice details. * No written warranty provided. * Ignored obvious frost-line code violation while working at the meter. * Repeated noncompliant repair with PVC male adapter into a metal meter. * Left physical evidence contradicting later denials. * Unprofessional communication, refusal to provide written contact, and no timely emergency response. This repair cost nearly $700, lasted just over a year, and failed exactly at the joint Double D worked on. The physical evidence, photos, and witness leave no room for dispute. I am filing this complaint so other homeowners are not subjected to the same misrepresentation.
