I wish I could give this company a zero star. I paid over $7000 two years ago to have full A/C replacement and this is the third issues I have had since I have it replaced. first when they replaced the air conditioner the inSpector fail the installation, second issue the air conditioner stop working because it was wired incorrectly, third incident accurs when a very disturbing loud sounds comes on, causing my neighbors to complain to my home association to give me I fine because it was a scary sounds To me and my neighbors. It was 94 degrees outside and I was burning up ! No comparison and understanding when i based my concerns to the company. I wish I could get all my refund back, so I can move on to a better company!! read more

I was in a real scrape with my 84 year old mom alone in a house in July in GA - hot and humid (god, why do people live there...) anyway, at 4 pm, the AC stopped. I called around without anybody that could come. Called Triad, they had someone that was 45 min away. He came out, checked everything and tried to charge me ONLY $39!!! because he couldn't find anything wrong. I insisted on paying him $60, mostly just for the drive. As he was leaving and the AC was working again, he stopped and said, 'Let me check one more thing that might be an intermittent problem.' AND it was, the condensation water was backing up (from the attic) just long enough to cycle the compressor causing the house to heat up and go back to normal. A little blowing out the pvc drain, realizing someone had connected one part wrong when installed or repaired and it was draining again. I 100% recommend this company!! read more

Our A/C went out and we called Triad. they were there within a few hours and working on the unit. They had to order a part and told us it would be about 5-6 days. They called me two days later and on the 3rd came back out and replaced the part. Then proceeded to check every possible thing to insure we were at optimal performance. Had to make 2 trips since they needed a very long extension ladder, but once they were back things went smoothly. Prompt, courteous and easy all around. Best service all around. We've been with Triad for over five years. All of the employees are professional, courteous, friendly, and provide excellent service consistently. Lavonne and Bryan installed our new unit today (we had our larger unit installed by Triad in 2020). Great service and skills provided by Lavonne and Bryan. We have a yearly service contract with them and have never had problems scheduling any type of service, emergency or other and always received immediate service and feedback. No findings, no solution, no explanation... collected the fee... the issue is still there. I had Triad Mechanical Company for our HVAC issue that the outdoor unit is not running. I told Paul, the assigned technician, that we had tried resetting the power to the outdoor unit but that only brought the unit back on running for a few days before it stopped running again. I asked Paul's help diagnose the issue for the root cause. However, when I came to the property just a few minutes later than Paul, he told me that he had done his work already, well, by simply resetting the power to the unit! (although I told him that we already tried that but it didn't work!)... He didn't have the patience to explain to me what diagnosis he had done (within that a few minutes) and he didn't even bother to come off his truck to show me but saying "go ask your tenant". He collected the fee and left. I will never trust nor use Triad Mechanical Company again! read more

I made a huge mistake when I chose Triad Mechanical to diagnose and repair my furnace. Paul, their lead technician, came to my house on Tuesday afternoon and after a quick look he told me the gas valve was not installed properly. I agreed to a diagnostic fee of $39.00 plus $385.00 to re-install the gas vale - total $424.00, they said the work is guaranteed for 30 days. The furnace stopped working early Saturday morning, that's 3 & haft days after the repair. I called their office, of course no one picked up; they returned my call on Monday and rescheduled for Paul to come out and check the system on Tuesday. Paul came out, same at before, took a quick look and told me this time that the pressure switch stopped working. I asked how come this issue was not discovered at the first visit, he said the system is old and that it wasn't the issue then and that he'd charge me $265.00 to fix this new issue. I pretty much lost all confidence in his work integrity and said no to the repair. I did ask Paul to give me quote on a new unit at his second visit, he gave me two quotes - one on a Goodman - 45000 BTU at $2996 and the other on a budgeted carrier model at $3,967. I asked him what BTU is my current unit, he said 50000 BTU, turns out my current unit is actually 70000 BTU not 50000 BTU. I contacted their Service Manager, Brian and went over the whole situation and asked for a refund of the $424.00 that I had paid - I wasn't comfortable in moving forward with either a repair or replacement by Triad, I believed Paul did not put much effort to thoroughly inspect my furnace so that I'd have a full picture of all the issues. Brian argued that Paul fixed the issue and the furnace was working at the time. I said I paid $424 to Triad only to have my furnace working for 3 & half day is unacceptable and for them to want to charge me another $265.00 to fix another issue that should have been discovered and proposed repair at the initial visit? I relied on a mechanical expert to give me honest findings and this what I get. I called another HVAC Contractor, they came out that same Tuesday to look at my furnace, they told me there's nothing wrong with the pressure switch, it's the power connection that just needs resetting. I contacted Brian at Triad and told him of the new findings from the new contractor and asked Brian to authorize my refund, he said he will ask upper management and get back to me. I followed up, he stopped responding altogether. I called the office and was told someone in their Accounting department will call me to follow up. Finally, Ashley from Accounting called and said they will not refund me and that they will credit the amount towards a new furnace unit, I asked Ashley to speak with upper management, she said she'll ask someone from upper management to give me a call. No phone calls from anyone since. Keep your hard earned dollars and take your business elsewhere, Triad Mechanical does not operate on the foundation of integrity nor customers' best interests; they'll find ways to charge you as much as they possibly can. And if you're a woman and a minority, they'll think you don't know what you're doing and will take advantage of you. It's not worth losing your hard earned money to unethical people and their company. read more

Brian(tech) showed up after we called Triad Mechanical for air conditioner not working. After talking to my mom in the kitchen with no mask he went outside to look at unit for 5 minutes. Said he cleaned the coils and it should work ($170). Well it did not work because he didnt even open the unit, because if he did he would have seen a wire burnt in half and the contacter was melted. That guy didnt do anything and after calling the company they just kept making excuses. Triad Mechanical are crooks. read more

So pleased!! Triad Mechanical installed a first rate Trane A/C and heat pump system for us. They responded to my inquiry immediately and arrived as promised for our estimate. We found the office staff and technicians to be knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We were working around a holiday weekend, so a few days later, they came and replaced the whole systen in the time promised. The system they took out had been poorly installed. I am a Case Manager at a large Atlanta-area hospital, and was informed that one of my patients discharging home did not have a working air conditioning system. I needed an estimate of the work as soon as possible, so called several companies before (thankfully!) coming across Triad Mechanical. I spoke with Kim in the front office, who understand the need for the urgency of the price quote and jumped right on it. They were able to send someone out to the home that same day to provide a price quote, which was much appreciated by both the hospital and family- who very much wanted their child at home as soon as possible. The family entrusted Triad Mechanical to replace their HVAC system, and to say that the company went above and beyond would be an absolute understatement. It is often a rarity to find a company that combines both compassion with outstanding and thorough work, but owner Baxter Carbine and Triad Mechanical manage to do both. Had inspection performed on property to be purchased. As a result, work was needed and performed on furnace 10/16/20 by Triad Mechanical Specialists in Loganville. At completion of work, company noted that all heating and fan operations and everything is working fine at this time. Property was vacant until I took possession on 11/10/20. I did not run the heating unit until end of November. On 12/7/20, the unit was not heating properly and I contacted Triad Mechanical to return to property to assess issue in particular because of the guarantee they noted on invoice of 10/16/20. Paul came in assess unit, said it was working fine and then stated that the "gas flow" needed to be adjusted. Questioned him about his statement that unit was working well and also the noted guarantee of work performed on 10/16/20. He basically stated that was then and this is now....anything can happen between now and then. I find that statement to be inaccurate and believe this company did not honor it's work performed previously on 10/16/20.. I should not have been charged for work they performed with noted guarantee that all is well. I want a total refund of what I paid for service. I want company to acknowledge that they are liable for the inconsistency of work performed 10/16/20. This company lacks integrity. read more

I am incredibly impressed with the service I received from Triad. My condo association only has two "preferred vendors", and my phone call to the other was profoundly disappointing (they were rude, tried to dictate an appointment time to me, etc.), so I was apprehensive as I dialed the number for Triad. I was SO pleased to speak with someone helpful and accommodating! The man who picked up was upbeat and friendly, gave me very clear expectations about the pricing structure upfront, and scheduled my appointment for a time convenient for me within 24 hours. Rey, my technician, was just as great. After taking a look at my unit, he gave me a range of options to deal with the problem (a clogged drain) and prevent it in the future, depending on how much I wanted to spend, whether I might want to replace the unit in the near future, etc. He then voluntarily made a number of calls to help me determine the age of the unit, and he marked it on the serial number sticker for me, which was thoughtful. In addition to cleaning the pipe, he modified it so I could do minor maintenance to prevent clogs myself! As a single woman who frankly knows jack about air conditioners, I was worried I might get "upsold" into spending more than necessary, but Rey explained everything very clearly without trying to scare me into buying a service I didn't need. I was so impressed with Triad's responsiveness and professionalism, and the level of service Rey provided, that I made sure to sign up for their regular Care Club before he left.
