He always seems in a rush to leave the room instead of explaining rationale behind care. However, I will note that I appreciate the reasonable pricing compared to other vets. So I guess you get what you pay for. I came in for vaccinations and a request for him to reorder a prescription for pain meds that another vet had previously ordered. Was a bit disappointed I was charged $45 for an office visit. It would've made more sense if Dr. Cho had actually assessed my dog (listened to heart/lungs, taken a temp, or even asked which limb was hurting and assessed it), but he did not. I was not expecting to be charged for re-writing a prescription.

He wasn't eating, was sleeping excessively, had severe dental pain, and even started having bloody diarrhea. As any pet parent can imagine, I was terrified. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park and the entire staff treated Rufus with compassion, urgency, and genuine care. They took the time to thoroughly examine him, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or pressured. What impressed me most was their honesty and integrity. They focused on what Rufus actually needed rather than recommending unnecessary tests or treatments. After speaking with other hospitals, I truly believe the cost elsewhere could have easily been several times higher. We took our 2 dogs to Vet Villa for over 3 years for both routine and acute medical issues. So I…read morecan speak extensively to the quality of care provided over time. Some of the vets are good, others not so much. We finally decided to switch to a new practice after experiencing enough errors and lapses in care to realize our dogs are not safe receiving care at Vet Villa. I strongly recommend avoiding Vet Villa. 1) Vet Villa prescribed Carprofen flavored tablets to our dog for a painful condition. We were not instructed to keep the bottle far out of reach. The dog found the pill bottle, chewed through the plastic, ate all the pills and suffered an accidental overdose. This led to 2 emergency vet visits, gastrointestinal toxicity that kept us up all night for 5 nights, and large out of pocket costs. But we are glad our dog is still alive. The emergency vet told us they always counsel pet parents to keep this medication bottle far away from the pet, and that they have seen multiple similar overdoses. Vet Villa did not acknowledge my feedback to change their counseling practices to prevent this from happening to others in the future. 2) A skin biopsy was performed in a completely inappropriate fashion by a veterinarian who acted as if she had never evaluated a skin lesion before. I can speak to this because I am a practicing dermatologist. The vet's approach as she examined reminded me of a first year medical student evaluating a condition for the first time. I did not contradict the vet's recommendation and gave it a chance. After all, I am a human doctor, what do I know about veterinary care. As expected, the results returned inconclusive due to the incorrect sampling method. The out of pocket cost was significant. 3) Bloodwork was lost and had to be re-drawn -- no explanation for why it was lost. 4) The practice's own pharmacy does not share prescription records with the office. I was asked in a very accusatory way to provide proof of a prescription that had been continuously refilled by Vet Villa using their own pharmacy for several years.

It seems that I need to keep going back in to evaluate the rash and no solution, long-term, is ever offered.. I moved my canines care to Glendale Small Animal Hospital, and my dog's problems have ceased to exist. They did a number of labs on her as well skin test, prescribed a shot once every two months for all allergies, special shampoo, and joint supplement.. The difference has been magnificent. Additionally, I find Mission VCA extremely expensive. I had to go back to them three times for the same problem. I was extremely disappointed, frustrated and annoyed that I had to keep paying for a problem that took so long to be diagnosed and was never diagnosed properly, nor was it treated properly. Glendale Small Animal Hospital, on the other hand, under the advisement of Dr. Quan, solve my dog's problems, the bill was half It was Mission VCA.,, my elder dogs disorder was promptly diagnosed and treated with the treatment plan that I can afford, . The vet tech asked questions about him and then dr. Niu came in to check on him. Dr. Niu recommended some procedures and food items to take home. But of course with a price. As of now, im just glad nothing too serious. Dr followed up the next day to check on klaus. So far he is getting alot better.
