I was referred to Hepzibah by a friend and had a very stressful experience on a refinance of a rental property with a very low loan to value amount. What I noticed mostly was her lack of communication. When sending her an email, I would not get a response in a timely manner......sometimes a day or two later. Being retired, she requested I get three different monthly distributions from my IRA (which I did) to ensure the refinance would go through. Each distribution did not work. She worked with me for about three weeks (many times I was thinking about cancelling the deal do to her lack of responsiveness but I thought I'm almost done) and then she sent me an email stating she was not able to complete my deal with the lender....wait, what? Aren't there other lenders? Ugh....I immediately called another mortgage company who had great reviews and the refinance was completed in three weeks. They had great communication and my emails were returned each time in a few hours. Wow, what a difference! read more
