There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

The house was advertised to be noise-proof but I can hear the neighbor's conversations. Not to mention the sounds of their dog walking around the house. It's not the neighbor's fault-- they are just living their lives. But wow, I have lived under at least 5 different housing management teams before and it has never been this bad. Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

As a parent I had to think quick and come up with a resolution. So, I said ok son we have to look for an apartment off campus. He said that several of his friends were freaking out and that they felt lost as they also received similar emails. Give me a second so I can search the web for living arrangements I told him. So many places, so many five bedroom, four bedrooms.... I was lost myself. That was until I came upon offcampus.Osu.edu. The first place that I saw within our budget I clicked on and immediately saw from the drop down menu "parents". Clicked on it, read the passage, and honestly teared up when reading it because I said my husband and I need a place like this for our son. They had a slogan and it read "who you rent from matters more than where you live". And those words spoke to my heart and said "Home". I reached out to "Venice Properties" and spoke to, Anna. She was kind, thorough, and after me making multiple calls she remained responsive, and truly dedicated to her craft of initiating care, support, and understanding. On this day! Today! My husband and our son filled out the applications and on this evening, today! Were approved. I don't say this lightly but Anna again and again thank you as who we communicate with during a busy day also matters. And Anna took care of all our needs and we are thrilled to meet her in person and work with her for the duration of our son's first apartment endeavor. Huge shoutout to Anna and Venice Properties.

No pool, no gym, no community space. Nothing that justifies the price. Unfortunately, Anna was the worst part of living here, and dealing with her was consistently frustrating. When we decided to move, she was showing our apartment while we were out of town; we had a dog sitter staying with our dog. We asked her to simply let the dog sitter know when she would be showing the apartment so they could be prepared to keep the dog secured and ensure everyone's safety. She refused to do so. I genuinely don't understand why something so simple had to be made so difficult. We also accidentally paid our rent twice one month due to a miscommunication. Instead of returning the duplicate payment, she kept the money and applied it to the following month. While that may technically be convenient for management, the rent here is extremely expensive, and we could have absolutely used that money sooner rather than having it tied up for the next month's rent. The plumbing is also horrendous. Our sinks and tubs constantly had drainage issues. We only lived there for one year, are minimalists, and kept the apartment in pristine condition. Despite this, they still took approximately $1,000 from our security deposit. There are so many more affordable options in the area with better amenities and, in my experience, better management. If you can avoid dealing with Anna, do your best to do so and save yourself the headache.

Most of us know how dizzying and mind-boggling searching for a new rental can be…read more First you have to determine in what area you want to live. This decision is based on an array of factors including consequential information and mundane details. Next you have to envision your future home. Is it a studio apartment with great hardwood floors or a two-bedroom condo with an excellent view of the park? Is the rent in your price range? Does the landlord allow pets? Are the neighbors friendly? What is parking like? Where do tenants dispose of their trash? It's a lot to think about. I know; I just went through this experience myself. Fortunately, the Internet makes this information a little easier to gather. You can answer many of your own questions with a few simple left-clicks of your mouse button. Heck, you can even house-hunt in your pajamas if you like. But even Internet searches can be time consuming...unless, like me, you happen upon Metro-Rentals.com. Metro-Rentals.com is an ingenious website that acts as the perfect tool for apartment owners and managers to help lease their available units. Having a web-based site allows Metro-Rentals to keep content fresh, relevant, and accurate. Metro-Rentals.com provides all of the photos, descriptions and maps you need to help you make an informed decision about a potential new home. Available units are advertised in a clean, easy-to-read, information-rich format. Metro-Rentals.com is also neighborhood-centric meaning it stresses the importance of finding a home based on where you want to live, not because of price point or number of bedrooms. Clicking over to sister site Think-Urban.com was dizzying - in a good way. This site differentiates one Columbus neighborhood from another. As a newbie to the Columbus scene, I found it easy to tune in to what sets the Arena District apart from the Short North or Campus Gateway or Clintonville. I can easily see how residents of each area use the site as resource tool for urban living. The information listed ranges from where to put your rubbish, park your car, and curb Fido, to where to find the cheapest gas. Furthermore, special topics like urban parking, urban transportation, urban restaurant reviews, and Columbus outdoor venues and festivals make the site visitor-friendly. One more positive: each site has a look that both distinguishes it as its own entity and shows the connection to sites within its family (also check out Suburban-Rentals.com). One negative: the editorial could be rotated more often to maintain user interest. The kicker? Metro-Rentals stays in business by making landlords pay to put their information on the site. This keeps the content unbiased and means no ads and no subscription fee for you. Life is good.

Swiss was by far the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a property management company. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I set up a time to see an apartment using their online system. No one answers their phones so you won't be able to do anything with a real person. Multiple calls with messages were returned with text message to use their online system. Their reservation system is very similar to most systems out there today. Received a text the day before the scheduled showing that I needed to confirm or they would cancel. Confirmed immediately and received a confirmation text we were all set and to call a number when we arrived. Drove from Cleveland the next day and arrived a few minutes early and tried to call the number multiple times with no answer. Finally receive another text (it was a real person because there were miss-spellings), saying they were sorry and can I reschedule for tomorrow. Really? I told them tomorrow doesn't work and asked if they were able to do early afternoon after my other appointments. No answer for about 4 hours. At around 3:00pm I got one more text asking for a specific time. Basically responded with what I wrote here. I feel bad for the people using this company to manage their properties. Complete lack of professionalism and follow through. Seemed like the person was on drugs. Hope it wasn't true from a personal standpoint but you really have to wonder.
