I received a pamphlet in the mail for a seminar on living trusts, wills, estate planning, etc. I have been wanting to do all this in the past but it just never happened. I went to the free lunch seminar in Tehachapi and met Mark and his assistant Elizabeth. They are so nice. He talks about the difference between wills and living trusts, and what would be best for your family. He gave a lot of information and was never pushy or aggressive with us. He simply gave us great information, and said if you would like a free consultation to fill out card and Elizabeth will schedule you. You did have a certain amount time if you were interested to respond though. Due to his vacation and a situation that came up it went over the time scheduled, they were so understanding and accommodating with us. We eventually made it in and discussed what options there were for our estate planning. It's very comforting to know if something happens to us, my son will be taken care of and will be with family. I feel relieved to know if something happens to me or my husband that we have our advanced directives and medical power of attorney in place. It is very difficult to think of the worst and figure out what you want to happen if it does. We powered through it with Mark and now all is done. We didn't have to file anything, his office does it for you. Once you pay the fee they take care of everything. One of the great things about Mark and his office, you won't get charged to make changes to your paperwork. Also if you call him he doesn't set a timer and bill you. He answers all your questions with that one time charge. So refreshing to not be nickel and dime'd for each thing. He was very cordial and helpful when I was setting up my trust. After I received it it didn't state anywhere the guarantees he gave me verbally about his office going to the recorders office to change the deed.
