The place is a real professional operation that is focused on rentals, AND has lower rates. The staff was friendly, the policies were clear, and the vehicles clean. So glad I found this place. The truck I got had maybe 45k miles and had some wear and tear, but seemed well maintained. I forget their names, but everyone I dealt with on Feb 12, 2024 was great! Some other folks complained about the Burning Man policy and I get it, it is frustrating when you think you are all set for wheels and you find out at the last minute that you aren't. I been to BRC several times and I totally understand why they have that rule (especially after 2023). If you want certainty with your reservation wherever it is be sure to ask in advance. And get it in writing. Some of the smaller Uhaul outlets say they are ok with it then whack you with the cleaning fee. This place might not let you take their trucks to the playa, but I'm sure they would be upfront and polite about it.

Rented a moving truck from this Budget location and the ramp was completely broken and unusable. I…read morereported it right away, but we were already in the middle of our move with movers on the clock, so we couldn't afford to drive across town to swap trucks. Because the ramp didn't work, my movers had to carry everything by hand, which added a lot of time and extra cost that I would not have had if the truck was in proper working condition. When we returned the truck, the franchise owner was dismissive and rude. He said "things break" and implied there was no way they would rent the truck out like that, instead of taking responsibility. He was also disrespectful toward my wife while we were calmly trying to resolve the situation. After all of that, he only offered about $50 off, which doesn't come close to covering the inconvenience and additional labor costs caused by renting out a truck with a broken ramp. I'm now escalating this to Budget corporate. Customers shouldn't have to pay full price (plus extra moving costs) for equipment that doesn't work and then be treated poorly when they ask for it to be made right.

I reserved a 10 ft truck with Justin and went to pick it up today. The truck was clean, air conditioning and the radio worked great. The truck was easy to drive too!! I also rented 6 blankets for 5.00. The store was clean and the service was great. Pricing was fair. Thanks to all the many staff who check people in and clean and manage all the trucks. I will be renting a bigger truck soon for the move to my new home. U Haul is a great way to rent a truck, Van or trailer for those small or large moves. Tire on car hauler had to be replaced due to tread worn and chord showing. Huge crack in windshield. Front corner of box truck over driver side was completely cracked through. They had to patch it. If we didn't discover the huge hole, all of our furniture and valuables would have been ruined by inclement weather. The truck was not filled with fuel or DEF.

The representative helped me get great truck, utilize my AAA discount and get a great overall deal. I love that the truck is rented with a "full tank of diesel". I also love the unlimited mileage too! I had a great trip and the Penske rental truck was crucial to that process! Pick up and drop off of rental truck was the best. I believe that Uhaul/ Enterprise has nothing on Penkse. I love Penske in Reno Nevada!
