They had a lunch special - a la carte or as a meal (with dessert and a salad). The meal is definitely a better deal - NOK180 a la carte vs NOK250 for the whole meal. We tried the bolinius (salt cod fritters) with pea purée and a cauliflower couscous, both of which were unique/good. Sandwiches are all open faced, served on rye with a slather of aioli. We were at a fish market in a different Norwegian city during this trip, so I had high hopes. This isn't a straight fish market in my opinion, it's basically a restaurant and a fish counter. It is a permanent structure and alone on this side of the harbor so it's very easy to find. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we were there and we didn't eat at it either. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The seafood counter was pretty much like a supermarket counter. It was much smaller than I expected it to be. The area for the shop was also very tight and unwelcoming. There were limited items and again, half of the stuff was imported and not Norwegian. I thought the service wasn't that good, we were completely ignore. So we ended up just leaving without anything.
