When my father-in-law passed away, we needed to sell the contents of the house, clean it out, and prepare it for sale. Tori guided us through the entire process and gave us great advice, but most importantly, she showed incredible patience and genuine humanity while dealing with different members of our family. We truly appreciated her support during such a difficult time, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and professional. Michelle Gilbert

FL, and have no local contacts, we found Tori thru the internet having searched for an honest individual w/ a good reputation who would do both the estate sale and cleanout. Tori was the person we hired after a meeting via Zoom. We also met her IRL when we went to FL prior to the actual sale. Tori was equipped to not only do the sale, she also would dispose of the post-sale remaining items via consignment, donation, auction and landfill as appropriate. Tori's marketing, actual 2-day sale and final dispostioning were done without any issues at all. Following the estate sale we received a lengthy receipt which accounted for everything. And, copies of receipts for donations are on the way to us too. Items on consignment will be sold over a period of time. Tori's fee is in line with other companies doing this work. I can't say enough about the professionalism and ease of communication with Tori who owns Cubed Consign & Cleanout. She and her team did a wonderful job. And - for those of us who live far away and maybe have strong emotional attachments to things to be sold - I don't think you can find a better way to handle this process. Thank you Tori and the C3 team.

On multiple phone calls he…read morescreamed at me, lost his temper, and refused to admit the simple, obvious, dumb mistake his auction house made. I genuinely hope Auction Gallery of the Palm Beaches goes bankrupt -- everyone should avoid this business and this rude dickhead. Timeline and facts: March 30, 2025: I emailed Junior and Pak Mail (the shipping services listed on the Auction Gallery of the Palm Beaches website) to request a quote only for shipping. The quotes were too expensive and I did not authorize any shipping. I have all email communications proving I only requested quotes and did not request service. March 31, 2025: I called Brian to ask whether Brian provide in-house shipping. Brian said yes and quoted a $20 handling fee. I agreed and Brian told me packaging would be finished by the end of the week (April 6, 2025). April 8, 2025: I called for a tracking number. Brian told me my items had been released to Junior -- even though I never asked Junior to pick them up. When I told Brian this, Brian suddenly lost it and screamed that I must have requested it. I again explained I only requested quotes. Brian told me to contact Junior. Junior said he did not have my items. When I called Brian back asking where my items were, Brian responded, "Oh, it must be Gil (Pak Mail). You need to contact Gil, not me." April 9, 2025: I called Gil at Pak Mail. Gil admitted Pak Mail picked up my items and couldn't explain why, given I never requested their service. Pak Mail agreed to return the items to the auction house. When I confronted Brian, he claimed I had called and asked for in-house shipping on March 31 and then blamed me for poor communication with the shipper -- despite the fact that Brian released my items to Pak Mail without my authorization. Brian also said the auction house will never make mistakes. What a dumb statement -- a normal person would never say that. Brian's conduct is outrageous. He admitted he knew about my request and still released my items to Pak Mail. Rather than take responsibility, he screamed, denied the mistake, and blamed me. I was calm and patient throughout every call -- Brian was the one who repeatedly lost control and acted unprofessionally. This is a dumpster-fire level of incompetence. Waste my time and money. Garbage person and business.

I inquired why there was no mention in the auction listing of the broken finger on the woman or that the tennis racquet had been broken and sloppily glued back on . The lady there said that there was just too many items that she had to upload, stating that it was impossible for her to state the imperfections. She went on to say that if she made any mistakes in her typing that it took too much time for the software to make any changes. In addition to these problems there was glue on the back of one piece and a lot of dirt on another piece. In addition there was a problem in the getting the item from the store even though it was paid before I showed up online . I was told by A.B. Levy's Palm Beach Auctioneers that I was going to eventually get a receipt emailed but I never did , but I was going to be right in that area anyway today, so I went to pick it up. This company is so unprofessional that they don't have a computer to go online somewhere to see if an items was paid for. So the lady sent an email and we had to wait for a reply before she would give us the items. Horrible experience with A.B. Levy's. It appears they lack both knowledge and pride.

Setting the grief aside for a moment, you most likely will have to deal with a house full of stuff. If you are like me and don't live in South Florida, this is a major problem. Going through all of the stuff can take over your life. I wasn't sure where to turn, but I found Bonnie and Melissa from B & F Estate Sales online. After reading some of the reviews on their website, I decided to have them come in and help out. It was a great decision. I liked that they have been in business a long time and aren't just some fly by night company. Bonnie has been doing estate sales for over 30 years. If they aren't run right, from what I've read an estate sale can be a nightmare. I decided to fly into South Florida to "supervise" the sale. Unless there were any major problems, my plan was to totally stay out of their way. I would think that some companies wouldn't want the owner there while the sale was going on, but Bonnie and Melissa made me feel welcome to be involved in the process and I found their business interesting. Prior to me coming into town, Bonnie and Melissa had gone through the house and started tagging items for sale. Bonnie is also a realtor, so I was very comfortable with her letting herself in and out during the week. I made a previous weekend trip to take some special things that I wanted to keep. I strongly recommend doing that first, so you know what is in the house. Plus it makes their job a lot easier if you can tell them - EVERYTHING there is for sale. That said, they did set aside some personal items, that they thought I would want, that I hadn't shipped yet. They aren't going to just sell something without checking with you first. To "enhance" the sale, they brought in a few of their other client's merchandise. My mother wasn't a big collector of jewelry or figurines. Those things bring in customers, so it was a good idea. Each person's stuff was color coded with a sticker, so none of the money got confused. I quickly learned that people will buy anything. Cans of unused food - Sold. An electric mixer from 1957 - sold. Corn Cob holders - sold. Clothes, shoes, old board games, packs of playing cards, eye glasses, bulky costume jewelry, Dixieland Jazz records, coffee tables, piano sheet music, old telephones, towels, old garden tools, unused batteries, paintings off the wall, an old sewing machine and, and, and... Now did I get rich selling all these things? No. Although it was cash in my pocket. For me it was about emptying out a house full of stuff, without it taking months and breaking my back doing it. My mother hated waste, so it also gave me some pleasure knowing that someone else was going to actually use these things. After the two day sale Bonnie and Melissa brought another company in that was responsible for the rest of the clean out of unsold things. Basically they see what's left for them to sell or donate to charity, then weigh that against the amount of labor it will take to move everything and clean the house. They write you a check for x amount and do the rest of the hard work. At the end you have a completely empty and clean house, ready for someone else to move into. After watching Bonnie and Melissa work during the weekend, I can highly recommend them. I would trust them again to do it without me being there for sure. I'm guessing most of their clients aren't there. I could tell they have lots of loyal customers who are familiar with their sales. During the sale there was only one person who was a problem. They came through the house and wanted to haggle over every little dime and started to raise their voice about it . Bonnie and Melissa put their foot down politely but firmly and asked them to purchase the items at the fair price or leave. After all this is someone's home, it's not some 3rd world country flea market. These things were important to someone who has passed away, so Bonnie and Melissa insisted that everyone be respectful. They were also constantly keeping things neat and reorganizing the items during the sale. I met lots of nice people during the sale that seemed to really enjoy talking about some of the items in my mom's home. To get this kind of clientele, Bonnie and Melissa spend time taking photos of your items and post it on their website as well as other estate sale websites. In their line of business it's all about having contacts and promoting the sale correctly. That's the difference between doing your own garage sale and having a professional company come in. B & F Estate Sales was a great choice for me. I'm sure they will be for you too.
