After…read moreassuring me that they have experience repairing with luxury watches (Omega, Rolex, etc.) we spent nearly a year of back and forth with my luxury watch repair. They continued to send me pictures of my unfinished watch and I noticed incorrect/used parts had been applied each time. During our phone exchanges, Arthur became very irate that I wanted to get visual confirmation that the watch was repaired before coming to pick it up and he said some very rude things on the phone. Things that I won't repeat. I just wanted my watch to be repaired as promised. A year after the initial drop off, I was finally assured that the watch was fully repaired with original parts and that I could come and collect my item. I arrive, with a friend, to collect my watch, and I notice that the watch was still not up to repair standards (the second hand didn't even move) and I was told that I needed to pay the balance (which was over $1k) and that the lack of true repair "didn't matter" and that "no one would notice." When I was understandably upset that my watch wasn't fixed up to the promised standards and I refused to pay the balance in full, he refused to give me my watch even though I had already paid over $600. We began a very heated exchange that included name calling and Gozzi stating that he "didn't think that I had the money." During the exchange, he also shared that many people had tried to take him to court before. I tried to get Scotts Antique security and management to explain the situation and get some support, which was not helpful at all. I was quickly surrounded by multiple men trying to intimidate me with formerly concealed weapons, and told that I needed to "keep it moving" by Scotts staff!! I honestly feared for my safety and the safety of my friend.To deescalate the situation, I agreed on a price and promised to write a review, report them and never return. This was a disgusting experience, with a horrible vendor, and extremely poor care for the customer. If you do go, DO NOT VISIT GOZZI, he's a crook.

The only complaint I have is that they moved to Federal Highway in Boca. It was after their move that I realized how great they were. I used another jeweler wick wad close to where I work and while they did fine, the process felt impersonal and quite honestly a little expensive. Needless to say, I needed to restore a 55 year old Zenith watch that was given to my son as well as some other needs, so I went to Gozzi. My son loves the watch, and Arthur knocked everything out in just over a week for less than I expected to pay. They are worth the drive for me.

I was introduced to Andy Rose ("The Catalog Kid" on eBay) in early 2020 through Charles Flint…read more(Charles Flint Fine Art & Antiques), a well known and highly respected art and antiques dealer in Lenox, MA for over 50 years. Charles had purchased the jewelry, original drawings and contents from the estate of Ruth Berridge, who studied at Rhode Island School of Design (contemporary with my mother, Eve Kleinhandler, RISD 1947). RB designed and made fine jewelry mainly in the 1960's -1970's, including through several renowned department stores. Charles sold numerous of her jewelry items through his antiques store in Lenox, and upon his retirement chose Andy to disperse the remainder of RB's jewelry and drawings on eBay. I first saw a picture of one of RB's wonderful jewelry items online, included in a magazine article mentioning Charles Flint. Charles by then had retired, and upon my inquiry referred me to Andy for follow-up relating to RB's jewelry and drawings available for purchase. I contacted Andy and expressed my interest in Ruth's creations. Andy shared images of many remaining RB pieces to be listed for sale on eBay, and through the following months as the items were listed I developed a close rapport with Andy. I had many questions and requests for information, and we negotiated dozens of jewelry and drawings items listed on eBay (many of which I purchased). Upon reflection (despite a few rough patches in our interactions), I would describe Andy as: honest, candid, to-the-point, reliable, knowledgeable, engaging, reasonable, honest, professional ... and TRUSTWORTHY.
